Going down the trail, below is Xiaoluoshui Village. It faces Lugu Lake and backs on the Goddess Mountain. We were amazed: the beautiful houses here are like "Penglai Wonderland". Xiaoluoshui Village lies quietly beside the blue lake, with a wide lake, dense vegetation, and gesang flowers everywhere. Living here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Lugu Lake every day. It's fun! Observe the Mosuo people who repair the pig trough boat, hardworking, serious and working together. The car turned along the road around the lake, and the scenery along the way was full of emotion: beautiful scenery at every step, dazzling everywhere, hands can't let go of the phone, eyes are not enough... Most tourists pose in various ways by the Mother Lake. Haha, we are also busy doing the work of "the mantis stalks the cicada, the oriole is behind"!

As the Spring Festival approaches, the price of homestays in Lugu Lake is expected to rise. The place we chose to stay is in Xiaoluoshui Village, called Banshan Yunshe Homestay. This is the photo of the homestay taken the next morning.

For tourists like us who get up early and come back late, and just want a comfortable room to rest when visiting, a lake view room is not a luxury. For us, yesterday was New Year's Eve, and we also visited Yulong Snow Mountain and Baisha Ancient Town. We drove for five or six hours to Lugu Lake. It was past 9 o'clock in the evening when we settled down. When we got up at 7:30 in the morning, it was still dark. It was really a waste to have a lake view room.

One day, we can turn our "travel" into a "vacation", and once we arrive at a place, we can stay there for a few days.

Well, let's start our itinerary for today. It's another busy day.

There is a small temple on the mountain near the stop near Xiaoluoshui. The lakeside used to be Yang Erche Namu’s museum, but it is now deserted after it was closed. You can just continue to enjoy the lake view and flying birds here.

You can go in and take a look if you pass by. It is a relatively closed small lake bay with nice scenery. There is no old house left in the village. It should be nice to stay here and watch the stars at night.

The wharf of Xiaoluoshui Village, Lugu Lake is located on the north bank of Lugu Lake, at the junction of Yunnan and Sichuan, and the provincial boundary is at the entrance of the village. The village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with Lugu Lake on one side, and the scenery is very beautiful. We strolled by the lake at dusk. The scenery of lakes and mountains was so beautiful, and one picture after another came into our eyes. It seems that you can't see the sunset and sunset glow here, but it's quite pleasant to walk around. Xiaoluoshui Village is the last village on the edge of Lugu Lake in Yunnan. The boundary between Yunnan and Sichuan is at the entrance of the village, and there is a statue that is also the boundary. However, the geographical location of Xiaoluoshui is really good, facing Lugu Lake and backed by Goddess Mountain. This small village lies quietly beside the blue lake, with a wide lake and dense vegetation. It is the last Mosuo tribe of China's matriarchal clan, and it also retains the most primitive walking marriage nation-the Mosuo people.

The next morning, before dawn, we walked down to Hubian to watch the sunrise. A little after 06:00, we saw the red morning glow, which made the lake a little red, but it disappeared after a while. The Luyuan Cliff blocked the sunrise and outlined the outline of the distant mountains with a golden red line. The lake was as smooth and peaceful as blue silk. Even if it was a small fall, it was still fun to play overnight and early in the morning.

A very small and quiet village by the Lugu Lake. Compared with the more lively places such as Rige Peninsula and Daluoshui, this place is more suitable for tourists who like quietness.

Xiaoluoshui Village is located in a small valley facing Lugu Lake. Xiaoluoshui Village is the last village on the edge of Lugu Lake in Yunnan. The border between Yunnan and Sichuan is right at the entrance of the village. The road around the lake is clearly divided into two halves here: the gravel road is in Yunnan, and the asphalt road is in Sichuan.

Near Xiaoluoshui Village, there is an ancient Mosuo grandmother's house where passers-by can take a rest.

When I arrived at the Xiaoluo River Lake, I couldn’t help but roll up my trousers and go into the lake to catch fish.

The beauty of Lugu Lake depends mainly on the weather. In general, the area around Lig Peninsula is more beautiful.

Because I hadn’t been to Xiaoluoshui the day before, I didn’t want to miss it this time, even though most chartered car drivers don’t recommend it.

I went to Lugu Lake for the first time in 2016. It was a complete accident. I originally planned to go to Daocheng Yading, but the Zheduo Mountain was closed due to heavy snow. After discussion, I decided to go down to Xichang and then to Lugu Lake. I didn't have much expectation, but I was stunned when I entered Lugu Lake. The blue sky, clear lake water, wind blowing grass waves, sunshine pouring, the island in the distance and the quietly floating pig trough boat, under the shining of the morning sun, are more dreamy, like a paradise presented to us, so I fell in love with this place. When I went there for the first time, I didn't search for guides, I just walked along the lake and took pictures all the way. The scenery is so beautiful that you can take pictures casually. I originally planned to stay in a lake view room at night, but it turned out to be really expensive. As a second choice, we found an inn by the lake but without a lake view room. It was much cheaper, and there was a lake view when we went out, which was very cost-effective. The boss was also very nice. He invited us to eat with him even though we hadn't eaten yet. Here I give a thumbs up to the handsome boss and advertise him. Lugu Lake Lazy Time Inn, the name sounds cozy, right? The next day, we got up early and took a pig trough boat to the center of the lake to watch the sunrise. We watched the sun break through the clouds little by little, and the irresistible light broke the tranquility of the lake, shining on the lake, pure and natural. After watching the sunrise, we went back to the inn for breakfast. After having a full meal and full of energy, we started the second day's tour around the lake. On the second day, according to the guide of the inn owner, we went to various places that we didn't even discover on the first day. We went to the Goddess Gem Mountain to overlook the entire Lugu Lake, went to Nice to see the magical lover's tree, and went to Rige Observation Deck to take pictures of the heart-shaped Lugu Lake... Everything here is so beautiful. A trip to Lugu Lake means a thousand memories. At the end of the journey to Lugu Lake, most people will be reluctant to leave, leaving behind thousands of memories, looking through old photos, telling others the story of Lugu Lake, and the beautiful scenery emerges before your eyes. Gradually, you will find that returning to Lugu Lake may have become your next decision.

I feel guilty and want to add a little more about Xiaoluoshui. Xiaoluoshui Village is an isolated Mosuo village on the shore of Lugu Lake. It is not as noisy as Lige Village and Daluoshui. It gives people a sense of peace and tranquility. At the same time, it is protected by the nearest Goddess Gemu Mountain and wanders in the warmest embrace of Mother Lake Lugu. I won't tell you that this is not what I described. This is the introduction on the sign of Xiaoluoshui, hahahahaha. However, Xiaoluoshui is really quiet and comfortable, suitable for living. It is also the best place to watch the stars at night. Generally speaking, it is great.

Although it is also a tourist attraction, maybe it is difficult for cars to get from the road to the lake, so there are not many people and the lake water is so clear!

We stayed at Xiaoluoshui, and later we found that the place we stayed was the most beautiful when we circled the lake. We stayed in the right place, quiet, beautiful scenery, and a holy place for taking artistic photos.

I didn't see the sunrise at Xiaoluoshui. It is said that this is a good place to watch the sunrise. It is quiet and beautiful in the morning.

The master said it was still early for dinner, so he let us go to kill time. Haha, next to it is a sign saying "Sichuan welcomes you". This is the border between Yunnan and Sichuan.

We went to Lugu Lake and stayed at Xiaoluoshui Inn. It's such a good place. If the accommodation conditions were better, I believe more people would go there. But the accommodation conditions there are really not very good. The hot water in the room is limited, there is no hair dryer, and there is no air conditioning. The beautiful scenery outside the window is wasted. The bonfire party is nearby, so many groups will choose to stay here. There are many lake view rooms, and you can see the scenery of Lugu Lake by opening the window. We also stayed in a lake view room. The scenery is really beautiful, but it takes more than 4 hours to drive from Lijiang. I was too tired to appreciate it. The photos were taken directly in the room. Isn't it beautiful?

Although Xiaoluoshui is not as lively as Daluoshui and Lige, it is quiet and most importantly, it is very close to the station.

The scenery is pretty good. The inn I stayed in had a lake view, but I felt that the overall environment of the inn here was not very sanitary.

The place we stayed that night was Xiaoluoshui. The temperature difference between morning and night was so huge that I couldn't adapt to it all of a sudden.

Fortunately, no one was feeling unwell at the time, but several of my companions even had diarrhea.

There are no drugs for sale nearby.

Xiaoluo River is the dividing line between Yunnan and Sichuan. Across Xiaoluo River is Lugu Lake in Sichuan.

Xiaoluoshui is a Mosuo village on the edge of Lugu Lake. Now most of the lakeside locations have been developed into inns. Compared with Lige and Daluoshui, the commercial atmosphere here is much lighter and the environment is more quiet. We stayed at the Mandala International Youth Hostel in Xiaoluoshui in Lugu Lake. The hostel is backed by the Goddess Mountain and faces Lugu Lake. It is far away from shops and bars and is very quiet. Get up early every day and walk to the lake to see the misty mountains and waters, ducks playing, and wild fun. It is also worth mentioning that the roast chicken in the hostel is a must-try delicacy when you arrive at Lugu Lake. Not far away, there is a temple and the Yang Erche Namu Museum on a peninsula hilltop that extends into the lake.

Luoshui Village has been fully developed, and its catering and tourist reception capabilities have improved. It is a good choice near Lugu Lake.

Xiaoluoshui Village is the last Mosuo tribe in China's matriarchal society. It currently has only 24 households. It is a traditional and ancient Mosuo village on the shore of Lugu Lake. Only corn and potatoes can be grown, but every household raises livestock and fishes.

Next time I come to Lugu Lake, I must stay in Xiaoluoshui for one night. It is very beautiful and quiet here. Of course, it is suitable for friends who drive by themselves, because it is a little distance from Lige, so it is very convenient to drive by yourself!

I heard that this is the place where Yang Erche Namu was born. Just look at the photos and you will know how beautiful it is. If you haven't been there, you should go there earlier.

Daluoshui and Xiaoluoshui are close to each other, there is no difference, there are many accommodations and restaurants, mainly by boat

At least it is one of the top 5 scenic spots around Lugu Lake. I think apart from Goddess Bay and Lige, Xiaoluoshui is probably the only one that can be considered.

Xiaoluoshui has beautiful scenery, and there are Saturdays there. Haha.

I stayed in Luoshui Village. The scenery along the way around the lake for more than 70 kilometers is beyond words. I really like the simple restaurant owner there. It feels like a place without commercialization. It is particularly beautiful. Also, you must ride an electric car around the lake. I will definitely go again. It's awesome 👍

The villages we passed by on our way to Rig Peninsula were relatively sparsely populated and far away.

It’s quiet, so still at night that you can hear your own heartbeat. The lake is like a mirror, illuminating others while allowing you to see yourself clearly!

An interesting phenomenon in Xiaoluoshui is that there are many free-range pigs. These pigs roam in the fields and villages. No one cares about them, and they will push forward when they see people.

Really beautiful. Very nice scenery. Worth a visit.

The most satisfying place in the whole trip to Lugu Lake, I stayed here for two days. Compared with other villages, this place is the most primitive place. In fact, I don’t know whether it is true or not, but there is a fool in the accompanying people who really asked the hostess this question, and the beauty walked away very unhappy, so it’s better not to ask. An important reason for liking this place is that I happened to live in the inn opened by the village chief. Although the accommodation conditions are a bit poor, the family is very simple. In the evening, I also participated in their bonfire dance. Although it rained later, it still couldn’t extinguish the enthusiasm of the villagers. In the end, everyone went back in the heavy rain. That night is still unforgettable. So if you don’t mind the poor conditions, it is recommended to live here. Of course, if you require a rich tour throughout the journey and like the lively, you should not live here. The conditions are very limited.

It is relatively more developed than Nice and is the dividing line between Lugu Lake, Yunnan and Sichuan.

At the Yangerche Namu Museum, you can see the panoramic view of Xiaoluoshui. Many houses are being built, which destroys the scenery on the shore, but does not destroy the scenery of the lake at all.

I like every place in Lugu Lake. My cousin and I stayed there for a week, riding bikes, rowing boats, and taking photos every day. It is the only tourist attraction I want to visit again.

A typical Mosuo bonfire party will include a Mosuo home visit, including the grandmother's house, flower-climbing building, and scripture hall. There are many girls and boys from ethnic minorities singing and dancing at the bonfire party, which is warm and hospitable, and the atmosphere is good!

Yang Erche Namu’s hometown is in Xiaoluoshui. When the light is soft in the early morning, the reflection of Xiaoluoshui is very beautiful. Luyuanya is also in Xiaoluoshui.

In the summer, you can see green mountains, blue-green and white lakes, and canoes slowly drifting on the lake.

The lake view is nice, but the rebuilt house lacks some flavor.

Charter a car to tour around the lake, one of the stops is Xiaoluoshui Village. It’s very beautiful. Xiaoluoshui is close to the Sichuan border. There are fewer people there so it’s very quiet. I really hope I can stay there forever.

A place that makes people feel very peaceful and comfortable, and feel like they are in a place without worries. After living in a big city for a long time, everyone wants to live a quiet life. I believe everyone has this feeling. . . .

Although the hotel is not far from the lake, it is not exactly on the lake after all. I asked the waiter how to get there, and after crossing a small path I arrived at the lake, just in time for the sunrise. Although Yun Houshu lived in Chaoyang, I still caught up with the BLUE MOMNET in the early morning.

It's a place you must pass by when you go around the lake. There are not many inns and not many people. If you live here, at least you have to be able to endure the loneliness, haha~ I like this place very much, it's close to the water and quiet!

Xiaoluoshui's scripture hall was newly built in recent years. Next to it is the Yang Erche Namu Museum. I remember the ticket price was 30 yuan, but I have never been in. I have no interest in this person, and the local people in Lugu Lake don't like her very much either.

I didn't stay in Xiaoluoshui Village for long. I just passed by there. It is only 2 kilometers away from Dazu Village (I stayed at the Starry Sky Inn B&B in Dazu Village when I traveled there, which I strongly recommend). I heard from the innkeeper Dona's family that Xiaoluoshui is inhabited by Mosuo people, and Dazu Village is a Naxi gathering village (in the early years, men from the two villages even fought over walking marriage). There are many similar villages by the lake, all very beautiful, and the bonfire party is in Xiaoluoshui.

You can choose to stay one night in Xiaoluoshui Village and Gemu Goddess Mountain. There is also a cableway. I rode there that day.

I don't like this place very much because I was ripped off by the locals. They said they would take us to see a bonfire party and have dinner, but there was not much to eat for dinner and the dishes were really not tasty.

The biggest difference between Xiaoluoshui and Daluoshui is that it is not so commercialized, and the locals are more simple and more likable.

There are many better photos but unfortunately they cannot be uploaded. This street is very commercial, but very beautiful. You can ride a bicycle, the accommodation is also very comfortable and cheap, and the scenery is also very good.

Soon after Xiao Luoshui came out, there was an observation deck. When we arrived, the sky had cleared up. From the observation deck, we could overlook Lugu Lake. The blue and calm lake surface was like a mirror.

Xiaoluoshui. There are very few people, or should I say very few. I don't think it is very convenient.

Although Xiaoluoshui is not much developed, the tourism industry seems to have destroyed the simple appearance of the locals. After afternoon tea, there was an activity to visit the grandmother's room. They talked about many customs of the Mosuo people, but in the end they still had to focus on the theme of selling silverware. However, the silverware was still quite beautiful. I couldn't help but buy a bracelet by myself. Oh, I was so embarrassed!

Water lilies are delicious. The barbecue after the lake cruise is very delicious.

Someone said that if you have been to Erhai Lake, you should not go to Lugu Lake. I think Lugu Lake and Erhai Lake have completely different feelings. Erhai Lake is vast and calm, while Lugu Lake is relatively more colorful and has a Mosuo people's sentiment.

I came at a bad time. There were only a few water lilies left. But I saw what water lilies are in Xiao Luoshui. They are very beautiful.

We arrived at Luoshui Village at 13:30 and had lunch here. The famous Chinese snack 'Egg Fried Rice' was 10 yuan per portion. I chatted with the boss. He heard that I was walking around the lake and was once again called a female man. Later, he told me about the small paths along the lake. He was a really enthusiastic boss. After lunch, I visited several silver jewelry shops in the village and continued walking and stopping.

Xiaoluoshui is one of my favorite places. When I came here, I dared not speak loudly because of her purity, for fear of disturbing and blaspheming. She stayed quietly among the mountains. If you don't come, I won't go. Because of this reserve, she is precious. The water here is clear and blue, and surrounded by mountains and clouds, like a dream. You can't help but stop and sit on the ground while walking. People and nature can communicate freely. You don't need to say anything, but you can communicate and understand each other.

This is a very quiet village. There is nothing iconic about it, but it feels very comfortable to take a walk or sit quietly in this quiet lake bay, enjoying the blue sky and clear water.

People don't like Xiaoluoshui because there are no shops, no bars, no stores. I love this place...

This kind of scenery makes me sigh constantly, "I am in a fairyland, I am in a painting, ah ah ah"

After passing Dazu Village, there is a village called Xiaoluoshui, which is also a very quiet village. I heard that the bonfire party in Xiaoluoshui is pretty good.
