This is the birthplace of Dongba culture. There is a Dongba Temple. Photography is not allowed in the temple. The temple covers a small area and has an excellent Feng Shui location. It is backed by the Yulong Mountain Range and faces the Lijiang Basin. There is a Vermillion Bird in front and a Black Tortoise behind. There is a Azure Dragon on the left and a White Tiger on the right. The Azure Dragon is high and the White Tiger is low. There is a holy spring on the mountain. You can't see the spring eye, but there is a constant flow of spring water. It is said that this is the source of drinking water in Lijiang. There is no strong smell of incense here. They use Tianxiang and only Dongba is qualified to burn one. I also prayed here. Meeting is fate. I asked for a wishing board and wrote my name on it. This year is my birth year. I walked around the Tianxiang furnace twice and made a wish and then hung it up, ringing the bell. The louder the bell, the better. The gods will receive our wishes and help us realize them as soon as possible.

The spring water in Yushuizhai is the spring water flowing out of the underground river cave of Yulong Snow Mountain. There are also rainbow trout and golden trout in Yushuitan of Yushuizhai. There are many restaurants in Lijiang that serve three-striped fish now, and the ingredients used are this kind of rainbow trout and golden trout. This kind of rainbow trout and golden trout is particularly difficult to raise, and it has very high requirements for water temperature, water quality, environment, and climate.

We were supposed to go to Lijiang Ancient Town that day, but we took the wrong bus and ended up at Yushuizhai. My boyfriend didn't want to go there, so I wanted to visit all the attractions. There weren't many special features there, and there were not many people. It was the place where the Naxi people held memorial ceremonies. Yu Shui Zhai is located in the northern part of Baisha Township. It is the place where the Naxi people hold sacrificial ceremonies. The spring water gushing out from the sacred spring in Yu Shui Zhai passes through the Baisha Ancient Town and has nurtured generations of Naxi people. Therefore, Yu Shui Zhai is known as the source of Lijiang.

The sky is blue and the clouds are white, the mountains are emerald green, and the clear stream is like a jade belt, exquisite and translucent. Unfortunately, only this piece remains.

We were going to Blue Moon Valley. The black-hearted driver of Didi Taxi tricked us into riding horses to Yushui Village. It cost 380 per person, and a Mosuo woman led the way. It took 5 hours to ride up and down the mountain. We couldn't see any scenic spots on the 5-hour mountain road. There was no snow on the snow-capped mountains we passed. The steep mountain road with no roads was bumpy. City people really can't stand it. The strong wind gave us a headache. Don't listen to the driver's tricks when taking a taxi in Lijiang!!! You spend money and suffer!!! It was a pity that we had a limited time for a few days. It was really a cheating driver. Don't take his black car! Yushuizhai Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Yulong Snow Mountain and more than ten kilometers north of Lijiang City. It is one of the main water sources of Lijiang Dam. Yushuizhai is the Dongba holy land of the central Naxi people and the origin of the ancient city. Similar to a park, there is a Dongba Shiluo Temple, which is the largest temple in Dongba culture. Its architectural style and atmosphere are particularly similar to those of Korea and Japan. When walking in it, it is always confused with the scenes in Japanese and Korean dramas shown on TV.

At the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I went there on the way down from the mountain. The ticket was 50 yuan, and they said that they would ask for a tip, but in fact they rarely checked. I have been there several times, and I have to say that the scenery on a gray day and a sunny day is very different. When the sun is good, you can see every fish in the clear water. I heard that most of the salmon in Lijiang restaurants come from here. Salmon originally lived in the sea, but now it has become a feature of Lijiang. The taste is slightly different due to different water quality.
