After breakfast, I walked along the restaurant and came to the three-way intersection I passed yesterday. This time, I went north to the direction of Qinglong Mountain. I first passed the Qinglong Mountain Pier. I took a willow-leaf boat to go around Puzhehei. It felt like walking through a gallery. Yesterday, I saw a lively "water battle" between different boats, but the price was not very attractive.

We started climbing from the trailhead near Guanyin Cave. It rained the night before, so the stone steps were very slippery. Some of the stone steps were broken and narrow at some corners, so we had to be careful. The good thing was that the air was fresh. It took about an hour to climb to the top of the mountain. The mountain road was not well maintained, and there were vines entangled. The mountain was steep and it was not easy to climb. If you want to see the sunrise, you need to get up early to climb the mountain.

There are two viewing platforms on the back and front. From the northeast, north and west sides, you can see the isolated peaks on the dam, the fertile fields and houses in between, the blue sky and white clouds, and the spotless sky. From the south side, you can overlook the entire Caihuaqing, which is like a child held in the arms of the mountains, surrounded by mist and the lake below the mountain.

Go down the mountain along the original route and return to the trailhead. Turn left and there is an open space next to the Puzhehei Lake. You can sit on the shore and daydream, and feel this peaceful and far-reaching life before returning.

When we arrived at the entrance of Qinglong Mountain Scenic Area, even the staff were not at work. After entering the gate of the scenic area, there was a lake with many iron boats docked on the shore.

Climbing a mountain is a huge physical activity for me. I read in the guide that someone said that the old, weak, sick and disabled can reach the top in 20 minutes, which is a bit exaggerated. The mountain road is narrow and rugged, with tree roots underfoot and vines above my head. I used the flashlight of my mobile phone to light the way under my feet and walked forward. I was so tired that I was out of breath and had to rest twice on the way.

But after reaching the top, I found that the best position had already been occupied by people who arrived earlier. I could only stand on tiptoe on the rocks behind the crowd. I was afraid of being pushed down the mountain by the crowd, so I deliberately stuck my feet in the cracks of the rocks.

Behind the viewing platform facing the sunrise, there is another viewing platform facing the Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms scenic area, where you can overlook the panoramic view with a hint of morning glow!

Qinglong Mountain is the highest point of Puzhehei and the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset. In fact, the mountain is not very high. Even an old, weak, or disabled person like me only needs 20 minutes to reach the top. When you stand on Qinglong Mountain and overlook the whole view of Puzhehei, everything is worth it! The climbing journey takes about 30 minutes (if you are physically fit, 20 minutes is no problem). Although the stone steps are a bit steep, the vegetation along the way is lush. Climbing all the way, breathing in the fresh air, every step is like hugging nature intimately. There is only one main road throughout the whole journey, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. Just follow it and you can reach the top of the mountain viewing platform smoothly. Occasionally, you can come across a small stall selling mineral water on the road. It is unattended and you have to scan the code to pay consciously. The warmth brought by this trust also adds a different color to the journey.

If you come to Puzhehei, you must go to Qinglong Mountain to watch the sunrise and sunset. The top of the mountain is about 100 meters high and it takes about ten minutes to climb up. Although you can also watch the sunset from the third viewing platform, there are a lot of plants around the viewing platform. The viewing platform is small in space. If you want to take pictures of the sunset, you must grab a position in advance. Continue walking along the road and you will see the third viewing platform, which has a similar angle to the second viewing platform and also faces west. However, due to many obstructions, it is not suitable for photographing the sunset.

The fourth viewing platform is in the same position as the third viewing platform, back to back, and facing east. It is also the best place to take photos of the sunrise. You need to walk down the renovated viewing platform. There is a relatively flat rocky area on the left hand side, which is the best place to take photos of the sunrise. Since the space is not very large, there are only about 3 good camera positions. You need to go up the mountain early to take photos of the sunrise.

Walk down the steps next to the fourth viewing platform and you will reach the climbing route at the Moon Cave exit without having to go back.

Qinglong Mountain is not high (mountains in the south are not high), and it takes less than half an hour to hike up. However, it was quite strenuous for me to carry heavy photographic equipment, especially when the sun was shining brightly outside and the mountain road was dark and damp, which made my eyes uncomfortable.

The top of the mountain was different from what I imagined. There were no proper camera positions. The best views were all on the big rocks. People would sway when standing on them, let alone a tripod. I stood on the rocks, trying to keep my balance, and took a few photos before the sun completely disappeared.

At the top of the mountain, I heard some tour guides not letting us go to the other side and said exaggeratedly that the other way would take three hills. In fact, the tour guide just wanted tourists to go down the mountain quickly. The other way down the mountain is to the Qinglong Mountain Pier, next to the entrance to the Torch Cave, which is very convenient. There is too much garbage on the way to climb the mountain. Many stones have painted words to remind tourists to be hygienic, but so many people throw plastic bags, mineral water bottles, and paper towels. My son and I reached the top of the mountain. There are trash cans at the viewing point, but there is still a lot of garbage on the ground. My son is still picking up garbage with his own small fishing net, but it's a pity that no tourist noticed it. There are 4 viewing platforms on Qinglong Mountain, and 2 mountain roads leading to the top of the mountain.
