By Being wants to eat carrots |

The prices are relatively cheap and the taste is also very good. I love to eat spiral fruit and Lijiang Baba, which are sweet and really delicious. The special spiral fruit is a very sweet snack, which makes you want to eat it just by looking at it. There are three flavors: taro, original, and spirulina. Three for ten yuan. I was really shocked by the price. I thought it was ten yuan each, but when the boss told me it was ten yuan for three, my heart was about to fly. It is glutinous rice flour wrapped with rose bean paste. It is delicious and steaming hot.

Lijiang Baba should be sesame cake, I don't know why it is called Baba. The name is very interesting, the sweet one is very delicious, I ate a salty one the next day, don't try it, the sweet one is still delicious;

Chickpea jelly is spicier and delicious. Compared with Sichuan jelly, the jelly made with local chickpeas is harder, more solid, and has a spicy flavor.

There are also three skewers of yak beef for ten yuan which are also very good. The taste of each skewers is different, probably because the beef is in different parts and the taste is also different. And it is really made of yak beef, no doubt about it.

The red chili pepper sprinkled on the glazed tofu is a real eye-catcher! It's delicious. Although it looks like stinky tofu, it's not. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the glazed tofu deserves its name. Lijiang also has a lot of snacks, all over the streets. Just look for the cheap and affordable ones.

⭐ A small alley, very quiet, the whole street is full of inns with very beautiful facades, and the green plants planted at the door are very beautiful. 🎍

I honestly doubt the owners of Lijiang's inns have taken classes in aesthetics, design, flower arrangement, and planting. It was evening, and the gentle sunlight shone down, giving us the entire street to ourselves, a refreshing feeling.

🌺The combination of the fading cherry blossoms and the red diamonds and green tiles is so beautiful! At 7pm in Lijiang, there was no sign of sunset.

There is a street in Lijiang Ancient Town that is difficult to distinguish without a map.

Qiyi Street is a food street in the old town. We had yak skewers there several times. I don't know if they were real, but they were delicious. At least they were beef. They weren't cheap, 15 yuan a large skewer. They were delicious, and we ate there many times. I think the name of the place is Fujie Delicatessen, and it's run by two young ladies next door. The downside is that it's too small, there's no stools, and they don't sell beer. This was the best food I had in Lijiang.

At night, Qiyi Street is crowded with tourists, and the tranquility that an ancient town should have is gone. It is like an overcrowded small commercial street.

By Big celebration zl |

The ancient city scenery along the way is quaint. Although it is covered by commercial buildings like other ancient cities, each store pays great attention to the decoration style, garden landscape, and flowers. There is a stream running through the ancient city near Qiyi Street. Walking along the stream is quite beautiful.

By Carrot No. 1 |

Qiyi Street is less bustling than Sifang Street, but both are located within the ancient town. The architectural environment is similar. With fewer people, it's a good place to take a leisurely walk and experience the ancient charm of the town.

By Sweet_Little |

Qiyi Street is a remarkably well-preserved old street in the Old Town, and it's also the longest. The wooden houses on either side, crooked by the earthquake, stretch from Sifang Street southeast to Nanmen Street. Although artificially developed, Nanmen Street connects to Qiyi Street, making it bustling with shops. It's currently the busiest street in Lijiang Old Town, both day and night. Qiyi Street is home to over 40% of the Old Town's inns and shops, creating a high level of traffic and fierce competition, which has resulted in excellent overall quality and service at the inns on Qiyi Street. Since the entire Old Town is paved with bluestone, you can simply pull your suitcase if you're not worried about worn wheels. Brother Chao, however, was so distressed that he had to carry my newly bought suitcase all the way there. It's about 100 meters inside, not far from the exit.

By …Sunny… |

It's not bad. Anyway, you can just walk around these streets in the ancient city. The food in some places is quite authentic and delicious.

By ✈️Dream |

I ate two things, one was Yunnan Four Treasures, which felt mushy, and the other was squid, with particularly large squid legs that were smelly. My mouth was filled with a strong taste after eating it. I don't recommend it. It's not as delicious as the Chongqing Teppanyaki Squid.

Qiyi Street Snack Street has a lot of snacks of all kinds. You can eat as much as you want. I was a little worried about the hygiene, but fortunately, nothing went wrong.

By ☀The sun is shining✿ |

Apart from the black goat kebabs, which I thought were okay, the others weren't particularly delicious. You can bargain.

By Quiet Quiet Mushroom |

Eat, eat, eat, this is a foodie's paradise. I have difficulty choosing which one to eat! Come here every day and eat one kind every day, haha

By HinsCheu |

Qiyi Street is a heavily commercialized snack street. For foodies, the variety of snacks here is quite appealing. For example, there's Ding Ding yogurt, spicy crayfish, yak skewers, cross-bridge rice noodles, bowl-shaped cakes, and glutinous rice cakes. However, I felt like there were more people browsing than buying. Honestly, the purpose of traveling to Lijiang is to experience the tranquility and peace of the ancient town. Such a commercial atmosphere isn't suitable for us city dwellers who have traveled all the way to Lijiang.

By Little Fish Balls 🍓Big World |

There are a lot of food shops there. We had salmon there. It was a really big fish.

It can be eaten raw, but it is very sweet when cooked.

By ice cream |

Overall it's good, the food on Qiyi Street is generous in portion and reasonably priced.

By daxia |

Jiang Ancient Town has completely become a commercial tourist area, so there are many snack streets here.

In addition to Qiyi Street, there are also Wuyi Street, Sifang Street, and Dashiqiao, all of which have food streets, too numerous to count.

But it is just a street on a cobblestone road, with various snack stalls on both sides, including those from the city.

Since our hotel is close to Qiyi Street, we usually eat snacks here and pass by here when we go out and come back.

There are so many snacks sold here that you can’t even count them all, including various meat skewers, barbecue, cakes, drinks, seafood, etc.

But the prices are generally high, even more expensive than some restaurants, but there are not many delicious ones.

Fortunately, we made a travel guide before coming here, and basically avoided most of the minefields.

【Tofu coated with batter】

This should be acceptable to the general taste, and basically everyone who has eaten it thinks it is delicious.

Although it is a bit similar to stinky tofu, don't worry, there is almost no smell and it is difficult to taste.

The tofu is fried piece by piece on the iron plate and sprinkled with a lot of seasonings. It is a spicy snack.

After you buy it, the boss will cut it into small pieces for you and put it in a box.

Because it is hot, it is very fragrant, the tofu is very tender, and there is soup inside, so it is called coated tofu.

It is a bit similar to Chongqing barbecue, but it tastes better because of the special tofu.

【Meat skewers】

If you see any stall selling yak or black goat skewers, go for it without hesitation.

The preparation method is similar to that of mutton kebabs, but yak beef and black goat meat are used.

Therefore, the meat quality is better, the taste is very comfortable, and the flavor is very fragrant. I believe everyone can enjoy it.

【Sour Plum Soup】

Lijiang’s specialty, sour plum soup, is available to almost everyone.

It's only 5 yuan, and it tastes very strong, but not too sour, and is still quite sweet.

There is a big plum in each cup of sour plum soup, which you can take out and eat~

Especially in the summer, drinking iced water is refreshing and thirst-quenching.

Yak yogurt

The yogurt in Lijiang is particularly delicious, probably because it is made from yak milk.

I don’t usually like yogurt, I always think it’s just average.

But after coming to Lijiang, I drank a lot of yogurt, almost 2 or 3 bottles a day, and it really tasted better than usual.

The beautiful ancient town has beautiful legends and leaves us with too much imagination.

By Fresh Leaf |

Qiyi Street is one of the four main streets in Lijiang Old Town. It extends from the southeast corner of Sifang Street. The Old Town Garden Square is the landmark of Qiyi Street; a small square nestled among the ancient streets of tiled houses serves as a symbol and landmark for the area and the street itself. Guanmenkou, a landmark on Qiyi Street, is located not far from the Old Town Garden Square. From Qiyi Street through Guanmenkou, you'll find Guangyi Street. The Three-Eyed Well in Lijiang Old Town, while shaped like a well, is actually a spring gushing from underground. The well is shallow, the water is abundant, and the flow is endless. The inhabitants of the old town built a stone or brick barrier around the spring, enclosing the water in a pool for easy access.

By Excellent Ryoshi |

This snack street is right on the roadside and easy to find, specifically across from Guanmenkou. It's quite obvious, with a row of snacks filled with all sorts of food. However, I personally felt the prices were a bit high, and the food wasn't particularly special. There are similar snack streets in other parts of the ancient city. The pan-fried salmon I ordered cost 20 yuan, which was definitely overpriced, and they only gave me the tail. I'm not sure if it was actually salmon.

But the architecture here is quite distinctive, so you can take photos there.

By China-TravelNote |

Everyone knows that the snack streets at tourist attractions are not very tasty and are very expensive. The snack street in Lijiang is no exception. I bought a serving of wolf tooth potatoes for 15 yuan, and they were not very tasty. The potatoes were not cooked properly. Some snack stalls, such as those selling roasted insects, did not allow you to take pictures. Overall, it is a very commercialized place, and honestly, few people buy food.

By Tiantian |

The snack street is way too expensive, costing 20 or 30 yuan per portion. The prices are ridiculously high, the portions are small, and the taste isn't great. I recommend eating sparingly, or just buying what you really want. If you have time, check out Zhongyi Market, where locals shop. Snacks are better in the New Town. The ones in the Old Town are expensive and not authentic. We had the baby salmon, which wasn't very fresh, for 25 yuan per portion. We also had the fried snails for 30 yuan. They weren't good either, and there weren't many snails. They were just side dishes.

By YIN~W |

Walking from Sifang Street, although it is crowded and the food doesn’t taste amazing, this place is very Lijiang-style and you can find Yunnan snacks of all flavors here.

By Maoduoli Sees the World |

There wasn't anything particularly delicious, really. There was a lot to offer, but it was also quite pricey. Snacks are quite expensive, and Yunnan people can handle spicy food, so be sure to tell them to use less chili when you order. Also, absolutely avoid the black goat skewers. Only the first piece is lamb (it's unclear if it's lamb, but it's probably been greased with goat fat), and the second piece and beyond are all chicken. Absolutely awful... I recommend buying them separately and trying everything.

By Shero-Hou |

The food in the snack street in the ancient city is expensive and not tasty. I saw in other people’s travel guides that you can bargain in the snack street, but I didn’t see anyone around me bargaining, so I didn’t dare to ask for it. I just accepted whatever the boss said.

By Susie~ |

The service staff were very friendly and the food looked and smelled good, but the taste was disappointing.

By Dear child |

As we walked, we arrived at Snack Street, also known as Qiyi Street. Before coming here, everyone had advised us that eating at Lijiang Snack Street was like eating snacks at Wangfujing in Beijing. It's an overly commercialized place, so it's hard to find anything delicious and authentic.

By Calm Night |

It's not easy for me to find a snack street because I have no direction. I was so excited when I saw it. In addition to this row of small shops, there is also a building where you can sit down and eat all kinds of snacks.

By Fentai |

I personally think it's just average. As a foodie, the snacks here don't make me want to eat them again. Maybe everyone has different tastes. Here are a few pictures to make you drool~

By Zheng Mengmeng |

There are many special snacks, and although there are no special recommendations, you can try them all. Even if you buy one of each, it won’t cost much. Most of them are around ten or twenty yuan.

By I am who I am |

Although the street is small, it is very lively and crowded. Couples walking on this street must hold hands tightly, otherwise they will easily be squeezed apart. The food court is on this street. The food is usually 10 yuan for 3. The food looks good, but the taste is not very good.

By Julia_shanghai |

We had dinner at the Qiyi Food Street. There were many choices and the food was delicious! The service was also great!

By Jade Purity Fairy Child |

There are also many delicious foods in the snack street, but the yak meat sold here is mostly fake. It seems that the only place to buy pure yak meat is at the viewing point of Lugu Lake, where locals also buy some, so everyone should pay attention.

By fhxy |

There are many shops along the way selling shawls, handmade candies, flower cakes, and car CDs. The homogeneity is very serious. After more than ten minutes, our novelty was completely worn out.

By Silly Tour 1598 |

There is a snack street on Qiyi Street. This one sells fried snails. Looking through all the stalls, I found that these things seem to be a collection of snacks from all over the place. They are like stalls at a market at the junction of urban and rural areas. They don't have any temptation to me.

Overall, this snack is not worth it.

By My summer time |

Snacks gathering place, this is a must-go place for group tours, so there are too many people and the food is not very delicious

There are many delicious foods in the snack street, such as ice cream, coconut juice, plum juice, beef, fried rice, etc.

Qiyi Street Snack Street is a foodie's paradise, packed with bizarre and unusual items, both familiar and unfamiliar. The bustling crowds make it difficult to move. The aroma and smoke of barbecue fill the air.

By The intersection where Phoenix flowers bloom |

Most of Lijiang’s delicacies are concentrated on Qiyi Street. The average consumption per person is around 50 yuan, and the food tastes pretty good. The food street here is quite popular.

By xy |

Bargaining is recommended for snacks at the food street, as it's a good way to get a good deal. But be careful to see if they'll give you a full portion after you've bargained, or if they'll halve the price and also the portion. Because there are so many snacks, it's recommended to buy just a little of each. While each portion may seem small, a dozen or so small portions will fill you up.

By Sui Chuner~~ |

We then turned into a crowded snack street in the old city. The food was really tempting, but it was so crowded that we just wanted to get through quickly. However, the decorations of some of these shops were indeed very unique and exquisite.

By Castle in the Sky |

The food on Qiyi Street in Lijiang Old Town... the taste is just so-so...

By clear. Shizuko |

Actually, I really don’t know what to eat in the ancient city. Every day I just eat in the snack street, from the first one to the last one. The taste is good, but it doesn’t make me hungry. Haha

By Angel Dolphin |

They are all very cost-effective items. You can buy a few to try. The taste is average. And you must ask the price before deciding whether to buy it. If you ask the price after the vendor packs it for you, the price will increase by one third.

By China-TravelNote users |

Lijiang's bustling streets were deserted at this time of year. Yet, I felt the real Lijiang. Looking up, the blue sky and white clouds seemed so close to me. It felt as if I could jump and land on the clouds. Strolling around, I saw shopkeepers lazily sitting in their shops, chatting casually with tourists. What a comfortable life!

Although it is late autumn, the flowers are still in full bloom, probably due to Yunnan's climate.

By rapeseed alvis |

The snack street in the center of the ancient city is really awesome. It is so delicious that you can’t stop eating! ~~

By Playful Bear |

Tofu with coating seems to be available everywhere. I have seen it in Guangxi and Chengdu. It is not a special product, but it tastes good.

The grilled yak skewers were tender and tasty! The fried rice cakes smelled delicious when they were fried, but unfortunately they were not flavorful enough and were just average.

By olive tree |

Nothing can satisfy the desire of foodies better than the snack street. Opposite the semicircular square is a two-story restaurant. The first floor sells various snacks to satisfy the different tastes of diners. In the middle of the second floor, there is a sign "I'm waiting for you in Lijiang", which makes everyone feel that Lijiang is a place they must visit in their lifetime, no matter you are an ignorant teenager, a young girl or an elderly person.

By cherry |

We went to the legendary Qiyi Street Snacks. There's a lot of variety, the prices are high, the taste is average, and it's a bit of a rip-off. Personally, I think it's just average, but the good thing is there's a lot of variety. You can bargain.

The roads in the middle of the night all look the same

Navigation was completely incompetent. After asking for directions a lot, I was still lost. Only with the guidance of a kind old man did I find my way back to the inn. I don't get lost easily, but this is a place where it's easy to lose your sense of direction.

By Zhu Maomao |

Snack street, basically all Yunnan snacks are available, fried insects are also a specialty, I personally think bamboo worms are the best when they are spicy~ >_< Baisi is also good, the portion is very large, a girl alone will not be able to finish it

Lijiang Snack Street---There are all kinds of delicious food, beekeepers, go and taste it! There is everything, just looking at it makes you drool

By Pepper |

That evening, we ate pork belly, grilled bacon, stir-fried sparrow, and tofu wrapped in soy milk at the Old Town snack street. The pork belly was the best, with bacon on the outside and lettuce on the inside. I was so hungry I didn't even have time to take a photo before it was all gone.

By Color Xiao Xiao Bai |

Not far from Qiyi Street, there is a section of snack vendors. You can smell the aroma from afar. Foodies will be dazzled by the variety of snacks here. If you have a big stomach, you can eat all the way to the end.

By WaYa |

I walked to the snack street unconsciously. There were many kinds of food. I heard that the price was usually 10 yuan for 3, and if you bargained, you could get 10 yuan for 4. But I really had no interest in eating.

By Husband and Wife Weight Loss 2013 |

The famous snack street has a variety of snacks at night, which will definitely satisfy your taste buds. (Some people say that the snack street is a rip-off, while others recommend other snacks. I can only say that personal preference is the key.)

After personal testing, I recommend: yak yogurt, freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, and snail fried rice

By Swallow |

There is a snack street in the ancient city. The prices are relatively high, but the taste is OK. Lunch is filled with various snacks. There are some pictures with strong taste, so be careful!

In the afternoon, I went to Lijiang Old Town with my wife. It was truly beautiful. The drizzle was crystal clear, as if floating, and the dewdrops sparkled under the rainbow. Of course, there were many local snacks, but while the food here was varied, none of them suited the tastes of northerners. I finally understood why southerners tend to be thinner. We bought a lot of snacks, but we only ate a few bites and then left. We also bought a lot of delicious snacks for the evening.

By kico is looking for courage |

After lunch, we went back to the inn to rest for a bit. It was already past 6:00 AM, and I was so hungry I went out to find something to eat. It was raining heavily. We also discovered the Qiyi Street Food Street. It was great, the scenery was amazing! You absolutely have to go to Qiyi Street Food Street to eat!

By Dan |

After waking up, I went to the "Jia" bar. Hey guys, have you ever had a hot beer? There's a fire pit in the bar, so you can warm yourself while listening to the singers. The price is not bad, a beer is 35 yuan.

Lijiang is bustling with people at night, many alone, many in groups of three or five. Walking back, I passed the food court on Qiyi Street. The food looked delicious, but it was actually average and expensive. I wouldn't recommend eating there, but you can try the tofu with glaze for 15 yuan a portion. It's very tender.

By Hell Princess |

Every city has a street food scene, and the food is pretty much anything, grilled squid, barbecued meat, stinky tofu, fish tofu, and so on. For a foodie like me, none of it felt special. Since we were eating late, I just bought a steamed bun and a box of fish tofu. It's fun to join in the fun!

By Brother Xiqi |

There are all kinds of snacks here, some you might not have thought of, even fried insects. Travelers who love food should not miss it.

We had some snacks at Qiyi Street. There were a lot of weird things, and since I didn't have a big appetite, I ordered three skewers. Hmm... they were pretty unpalatable.

By Soul Station |

The snack street was packed with people at night, and before we knew it, the eight of us were separated. The snack street was quite large, but the food was truly terrible. No wonder the innkeeper scoffed at our presence there.

Coming out of the Mu Mansion, you're right at the snack street! It's said that many foreigners eat here and are subsequently sent to the hospital in the middle of the night. If you don't have a strong stomach like a Chinese, don't try this. My eyes lit up at the sight, but I still didn't dare to eat. Hee hee, cherish your life.

The chili sauce made on site is 20 yuan a small bottle, which is really expensive! The one in it is not ginger, but Japanese ginger! You must not know it.

By Catie |

There is a row of food stalls near Qiyi Street. I suggest you don't buy roasted potato chips or Dongba grilled fish. You can try some others.

By Smile. |

Yunnan’s specialty, flower cakes, are also delicious.

I really like this, I think it's delicious~~ It's soft and tasty, sweet and delicious. But what attracted us most was the various snacks! Haha, isn't this my paradise?

"Boss, give me a plate of tofu."

A variety of tempting snacks ~ I want to eat them from beginning to end!

This is a snack street. No matter where you go, you will probably find a snack street like this. The main feature here is: "very expensive, and very unpalatable." Just take a look and take some photos. As for the taste~~~~

The snacks at the gate are like heaven to a foodie like me.

A highly recommended snack. I forgot what it was called. The outside is thin slices of meat with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat. The inside is wrapped with lettuce. I have always been a meat eater. I usually hate vegetables and lettuce. This one is so delicious.

There are countless snacks in the snack street. Are all local snacks sold there? Anyway, everything is 10 yuan.

These all depend on personal taste, so I won’t comment too much. Anyway, you should try more when you are here.

I went to the snack city on Qiyi Street with great enthusiasm, thinking that I would have a feast for my appetite, but I found that the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment. I felt that the food was not cheap, and I didn’t eat anything I liked.

By Shanghainese pipe smoker |

The snack street in Dayan Ancient Town is pretty average. It's also known as the gutter oil street. Many people eat there and then vomit. Lijiang baba is number 1, number 2 is coated tofu, number 3 is sour plum soup, and number 4 is the so-called pure yak yogurt. All of them are mouth-drying and average. If you don't believe me, go and try them yourself.
