Dream Valley was so much fun! It had a water park, a carousel, bumper cars, and other kid-friendly activities. Best of all, they had a dolphin show, making it perfect for taking the kids. There were also two fantastic shows. I highly recommend Dream Valley; it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back more often.
The tickets are too expensive, not worth the price. Moreover, you need to be in a group of four to play on the water. I finally lined up for an hour, but the staff would not let us in, saying that we need to be in a group of four. I went with my family of three, and they told us how to find someone. Originally, the staff were supposed to arrange it for us. For example, if they wanted to find 20 people in a car, how would they find them? If we were to go in groups of four, four people would be enough.
There are a lot of things to eat, the wontons are delicious😋, and the Lao Hengdian yogurt is also super delicious😋.
There are also many places to play.
The performances are also good (rainstorms and flash floods), so real, the effect is only good at night
It is actually a night amusement park. If you like playing the pirate ship pendulum bungee jumping machine, you can go there.
The rainstorm and flash flood show is still worth watching, but you have to enter the park early to get the 7:00 show. There were probably too many people that day, so we only got the 8:00 show, and then they added a 9:00 show.
The performance lasts about 30 minutes
Dream Tai Chi was just being upgraded and I didn't see it.
A large amusement park, suitable for taking children to play on holidays.
Dream Valley is a night amusement park that combines romance, excitement and joy. You can sit in a hot air balloon with your lover and gaze at the romantic stars and the moon, sit in the Ferris wheel with your friends and overlook the dazzling night view, watch the magnificent "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood" live performance with your family, and even see the breathtakingly beautiful super moon!
The supermoon, measuring 15 meters in diameter, is the largest real moon in East China. I never imagined I'd have the opportunity to admire it so closely. It's no longer just a tiny speck of light, but a massive impact crater visible on the real moon itself, creating a romantic experience that feels like being in space. This internet-famous supermoon is making us want to take photos. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, visit Dream Valley and discover some of the most creative ways to connect with the supermoon—you'll definitely become a TikTok influencer in no time!
After nightfall, don't miss Dream Valley's flagship live-action shows, "Rainstorm and Flash Flood" and "Dream Tai Chi." Even just one of these is worth the price of admission! "Rainstorm and Flash Flood," a multi-million-yuan live-action show produced by Hengdian World Studios this year, features the culmination of traditional Chinese Nuo dance. Experience China's first outdoor Tesla-style lightning bolt splitting the sky, followed by 500 tons of floodwaters cascading down like torrential rain. The immersive experience will leave you feeling thrilled and exhilarated.
Dream Valley also boasts the Children's Dream Factory, a popular family playground in central Zhejiang. It also boasts East China's largest dolphinarium, divided into three themed areas: the Coral Hall, the Shark Hall, and the Jellyfish Hall. During the National Day holiday, Hengdian Dream Valley will also host a Clown Carnival, where hilarious clowns perform magic tricks, balloon squeezing, acrobatics, and other hilarious performances, perfect for a family trip. There's also a super cool space shuttle ride—a must-see for thrill-seekers!
Dream Valley TIPS
Ticket price: 295 yuan. In fact, you don't need so much money. It is recommended to buy a combined ticket for the scenic spot and the Dream Valley ticket package. There are super discounts during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. You can book it on the official website of Hengdian Film and Television City or on major travel platforms.
1. Opening hours: 16:00-21:00 (opens at 14:00 in summer)
2. "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood" is the most shocking live water performance.
2. "Dream Tai Chi" is a real-life performance of a super-large volcanic eruption.
3. Dolphin Bay is a well-known dolphinarium in East China, divided into three major theme areas.
4. We recommend dining at Wanshengxing Restaurant in the scenic area, where you can enjoy local specialties such as stone pot tofu and home-cooked swimming crabs.
If you come to Hengdian, you must visit Dream Valley. Although I didn’t see the most famous rainstorm and flash floods, I was shocked by the Dream Infinity. Next time I come, I must watch the rainstorm and flash floods to make up for this regret.
Dream Valley is really an amusement park, with all kinds of fun and performances.
We played from 4pm to 11pm~wahahahaha
Come in and see the fairy tale world~
Let’s go to the Bird Theater~ It’s very suitable for bringing children!
We four adults actually watched it for so long ~ haha.
Both Dream Valley and Guangzhou Street/Hong Kong Street offer hot air balloon tours, with prices around 100 yuan per person. Don't expect too much from these hot air balloons, though. They're anchored to the ground at their four corners and can only reach a certain altitude, offering panoramic views of Hengdian, but the flight time is very short. Don't imagine it as a real flight. If you haven't ridden a hot air balloon before, give it a try. While the flight height is limited and the flight time is shorter, hot air balloons aren't designed for extended rides, so a ten-minute ride to experience the scenery is a good option. There's also a UFO-shaped hydrogen balloon, which flies at the same altitude and for the same duration.
In addition to the water park, Dream Valley also has two large-scale live performances, which was one of the reasons for my trip. They were truly amazing! (I can't say that enough, three times!) At the entrance, you'll need to buy a ticket for the live performances. They'll assign you a showtime based on your reservation time and the day's crowds. Each show has two shows, and you enter with your ticket, at 8 PM and 9 PM. Dream Valley also has many rides, dolphin and sea lion shows, puppet shows, and more. The specific showtimes are displayed on a looping LED screen after you enter the park. I loved the super loudspeaker; it was really fun. I waited for half an hour and basically enjoyed everything by myself. When I got to the big slide, I was afraid to get off. I held on to the staff and wouldn't let go, hahaha. But after I got off, it didn't seem that scary anymore. I'm most afraid of weightlessness and high speeds.
Located within Hengdian Film and Television Studios, Dream Valley is a large-scale nighttime film and television experience theme park featuring a variety of rides and performances. It encompasses four major areas: Hengdian Old Street, Jiangnan Water Village, Dream Culture Village, and Water World, and features large-scale performances and light and fireworks displays.
When you come to Dream Valley, you cannot miss the iconic performances of Hengdian Film and Television City, the large-scale disaster experience project "Rainstorm and Flash Flood" and the world's largest volcano live performance "Dream Tai Chi". The thrills and excitement reflected in these two acclaimed programs are enough to make the audience present amazed.
After parking, we ran directly to the place where we played in the water. Along the way, we saw various amusement facilities that children liked. The variety here was rich, which was worthy of the price of this place. We saw a boat flying in the sky, and the speed was very slow. Elements that children like can be found here. There are supply stations everywhere, so we can replenish our energy and continue playing when we are hungry and thirsty.
Tips:
Since the park is a night amusement park, it is open for only 5 hours. The amusement facilities are basically closed around 19:40, and the rest are all performances.
There are supporting facilities such as changing rooms, fast food restaurants, etc. in the world area, so you need to bring your own swimsuits and toiletries.
Reference time: 3-4 hours
Transportation: Direct buses run from Hangzhou and Shanghai to Hengdian. Tourist buses run between the various scenic areas within Hengdian Film and Television City. If you're staying at a partner hotel within Hengdian Film and Television City, you'll also receive a free shuttle bus to each scenic area.

Opening hours
Monday to Sunday, January 1st - December 31st
16:00-21:00 (Opening hours)
It opens at 15:30 every day during the May Day and National Day holidays.
I like it very much, hahaha. I have never played in the water world since I was a child. You must wear a swimsuit to play here. There are land projects and water projects. You can only enter after 2 pm and it ends at 10 pm, which is enough. Some projects are a bit repetitive. You can queue for more than an hour to play a large one. Some individual projects are charged. It’s fun and exciting, but when there are some drops, my heart really can’t stand it. It’s too exciting. If I want to play with the other Qinhuang Palace in Hengdian, I must stay overnight.
You can go to the official website to find the performance time of the day. There is a dolphin show. The most exciting ones are the Dream Tai Chi and the rainstorm and flash flood. Although I didn’t understand it, the giant performance effect was shocking and the funds were burned.
You must wear a swimsuit to play in the water world. There is no regulation on what shoes to wear, but slippers and sandals are the best. It costs 30 yuan to rent a locker, and there is a 20 yuan deposit. You can put your belongings together, and they will also give you a waterproof coin bag. Although it says not to put electronic devices, I still put them in. Emmmm, some water will still enter. After all, there is a big drop when playing, and people get wet all over.
I played on the windmill, carousel, bumper cars and horror house with you. After playing, I felt dizzy and not as energetic as you, but I still wanted to play with you. In the evening, we watched the evening performance of Torrential Rain and Flash Flood and Dream Tai Chi together. It was spectacular and shocking.
It looked huge from a distance, and the driver said it was very fun.
We arrived early in the season, so Water World and the flash floods were closed, which was a shame! The dolphin show is pretty much the same everywhere. The hot air balloon ride is 100 yuan for two people. The food court is full of snacks and other things. The ticket comes with a 20 yuan voucher, which is enough for a meal. The fantastic light show, with a 2-hour queue and a 2-minute entrance... While not as detailed as Songcheng Eternal Love, the simulated volcanic eruption is quite realistic! Well worth the price of admission!
It's a fun place, especially suitable for couples and those with children... The price is also reasonable, especially for the rides, which don't require any additional charges.
It's an amusement park overall, with large machines like a Ferris wheel and free fall, as well as carousels and bumper cars. But if you really call it an amusement park, I don't think it's worth the price of admission. After all, there aren't many facilities and they're not thrilling. I think the price of admission is mainly reflected in the performances. If you haven't seen this type of performance before, it's still worth seeing. You have to manage your time well, excluding the time spent queuing for the performance. It's a bit rushed to finish the whole thing.
It's very lively with a lot of people, rides, performances, and fireworks. However, there are a lot of people during the National Day holiday, so you have to wait in line for a long time for each project.
We went there a little late that day. It was already past five o'clock when we arrived. It was dark before we could play many activities. We mainly watched two performances. It is very suitable for parents to bring children to play, including the water park and other things. It is suitable for families. For young couples like us, it is not as attractive as we thought.
Renting a locker will give you a waterproof phone bag, which is very waterproof. If you want to play in the water, you must bring a swimsuit.
The doll at the gate of Dream Valley, I don’t know why the pictures of it are all upside down when it is put on.
Dream Valley is somewhat similar to Fantawild, offering a variety of rides and large-scale performances. There are a variety of rides, ranging from gentler ones like a carousel and Ferris wheel to more thrilling ones like a tumbling broom and a bungee jump. The performances are also fantastic, including dolphin shows, Dream Valley's famous rainstorms and flash floods, and Dream Tai Chi. The scenes are magnificent, and the water and fire effects are truly stunning.
It was my first time riding a Ferris wheel, and it was such a great feeling! Besides the Ferris wheel, there are also a variety of other entertainment options. If you dare to try them, they're absolutely thrilling and exciting!
The first thing to do when you come to Dream Valley is to play, and the second is to see. After playing, you can go to watch two major performances:
One is the country's first shocking experiential disaster show "Heavy Rain and Flash Floods", which makes you feel as if you are there and is terrifying.
One is the world's largest volcano live performance "Dream Tai Chi", which will create a pleasing and beautiful visual feast for you.
What I did back then was a waste of time. I just went to a nightclub for fun. Too many people. Too many people. I couldn't see much. And then I forgot what I saw. I followed the tour group aimlessly. When I got there, I had no idea what to do. I just followed the guide's flag.
Dream Valley Amusement Park is still worth a visit, and the effect is better when the lights are turned on at night
Dream Valley is incredibly crowded, giving it a bit of an amusement park feel. However, the Jiangnan Temple Fair during the Spring Festival is definitely worth a visit; it truly embodies the festive spirit. The two performances—Rainstorm and Flash Flood and Fantasy Tai Chi—are truly spectacular, and they're definitely not to be missed. There's also plenty of food to eat, though prices are definitely a bit higher than outside. However, if you arrive after 4 PM, you'll still be able to enjoy a lot. I heard there's a water park in the summer, which might be more suitable for children.
Personally, I feel it's just average. It's half scenery and half entertainment. There are too few amusement facilities and too many people queuing. I queued for two games and finished playing in one night. The scenery in Dream Valley is not as good as the Qingming Shanghe Tu that I visited the next day.
It's not worth it. It's really boring to come here in winter. It's a rip-off. The entrance ticket says 22:15, and it's freezing in the middle of winter. If you want to enter earlier, you can only pay for VIP, 50 per ticket, which is too dark.
The only place in Hengdian that has amusement facilities is that I went there at the wrong time, so there was no water park or dolphin show. Everything else was pretty good.
The evening show was great! The other rides were just average.
There are many marine creatures, which are really beautiful! For example, starfish, turtles, dolphins, seals, various fish, etc. Recommended
It can be said that if you go to Hengdian, you must go to Dream Valley, because there is nothing to visit there at night!!!
Dream Valley's signature shows are "Rainstorm and Flash Flood" and "Dream Tai Chi." The number of performances and times are adjusted based on visitor numbers. Upon entering the valley, you'll be given a ticket for the show, but few people actually take their seats. Area B, the center area, offers the best vantage points for viewing the show. VIP seating is available after entering the venue: "Rainstorm and Flash Flood" costs 10 yuan per person, while "Dream Tai Chi" is 20 yuan per person. Both shows boast stunning visuals, a grand scale, and a truly impressive spectacle. I personally consider them a must-see when visiting Hengdian.
I loved both performances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is just like an amusement park. For tourism, I think it is a waste to spend a whole day here. There are a lot of tourists. We watched two performances, Fantasy Tai Chi and Torrential Rain and Flash Flood, which were quite good.
It opens at night, but it's worth a visit. There are two must-see large-scale performances inside.
The Dream Valley scenic area encompasses four major areas: Dream Culture Village, Hengdian Old Street, Jiangnan Water Village, and Water World. It boasts a large amusement park and water park, featuring large-scale performances, colorful lights and fireworks, and a wide variety of snacks and restaurants. We saw the dolphin show and the "Heavy Rain" flooding display, both highly recommended. The entrance is easy, so don't rush; you can enjoy the scenery as you go, and your time is perfect. It's perfect for a family outing; the kids loved it. I recommend waiting for the rides later, as the lines for the Ferris wheel were incredibly long, lasting over an hour.
This is fun! Go at night, there are rainstorms and flash floods, Eight Banners war horses, and many other performances.
Quite interesting.
There are many projects to play, it's nice to come here, after visiting Hengdian, go to Dream Valley to watch the show, it's a visual enjoyment
The children's kingdom has a water world, an ice and snow world, and some performances. You can arrange your own play time according to the schedule
I love Dream Valley because I didn't go to many amusement parks as a kid. It's a paradise for adults!
If you have been to Happy Valley or something, don't go here and waste your money. The show was so embarrassing that I left immediately.
It's worth it for adults and children to play and watch. It's good.
A must-see in Hengdian. The performances of Dream Tai Chi and Torrential Rain are particularly exciting. The amusement facilities are also very good, much like Hangzhou Paradise. There is also a water world in summer.
If you have kids, you can take them to the "People Come Wild" theme park, which is similar to Happy Valley, but a simpler version. It won't spoil the fun for the kids. By the way, the "Dream Tai Chi" show was just okay.
It's a very unique amusement park, but there is a time limit, so it's very urgent, so hurry up and play
Dream Valley is located near the Qin Palace. I recommend visiting the Qingming Riverside Scene and Qin Palace during the day and then heading directly to Dream Valley in the evening. I bought a combined ticket online that included admission to Dream Valley, making it a great deal. The park opens at 4 p.m. daily, so arriving early during busy periods is recommended, as time is tight between the performances and the rides.
The most famous are the two performances in the water park and Dream Valley in summer, "Dream Tai Chi" and "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood". The contents of these two performances are volcanic eruption and flash flood respectively. The water park is only open in summer, but because I don’t like playing in the water, I came here in February without caring. At this time, Dream Tai Chi had been suspended. After playing a few amusement projects, I went to see "Come on Birds" and "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood".
"Go Birds" is a very suitable show for children. There will be interactive sessions with children in the middle. Parents with children are advised not to miss it~ "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood" is an open-air performance, and the venue is also open-air. Although there are seat numbers on the tickets, no one will sit according to seats for this performance, so it is recommended to sit closer to the front. This way, you can not only avoid being missed when taking pictures, but most importantly, you can see more clearly~ There are also VIP seats at the front, and you can enter for a fee.
It snowed during the day when I went there. Although it didn't snow at night, it didn't mean it wasn't cold. I ended up freezing cold when I came out. However, I was still a little scared when I saw the flash flood that almost drowned those children. I was worried about them. Finally, we left after watching the flash flood. Because it was winter and it snowed during the day, many facilities were not open. Even so, we were quite short on time. You can imagine how much you can do if you want to watch the shows and play when there are many people. Maybe it's because its main attraction is not amusement facilities, I feel that it is not as fun as the things in Happy Valley. But since we are in Hengdian, we naturally can't miss Dream Valley.
For the water park, be sure to bring your swimming gear. I highly recommend "Aden Storm" and "Dream Tai Chi."
I highly recommend Dream Valley, especially the "Dream Tai Chi" performance at night, it's great!
It's an amusement park. You have to wait in line for at least an hour to play one project. It may be because it was the peak season when I went there, so there were a lot of people.
I feel that it is not as fun as Happy Valley, not too exciting, but the performance is still good
Dream Valley's classic night show, rainstorms and flash floods, dreamlike endless, I think it is still a great performance, powerful stunts, especially the latter dreamlike endless, beautiful
It has both eroticism and the director's talent and the actors' strong skills. I personally recommend it as a performance that is worth watching. Friends and family members who are traveling with you, if there are elderly people, should pay attention to the crowds after the show and avoid squeezing into the crowded flow of people.
When watching the performance, we can see many elderly groups. We can understand the feelings of the elderly. We can also understand the feelings of the elderly group members walking hand in hand together. However, we should pay attention to the people who are accompanying us and not squeeze them by ourselves.
Dream Valley is very fun
But you have to go in early.
Many people went in at 15:00.
I thought that many of the attractions in it required constant queuing before they could be visited.
It's the same as the Shanghai World Expo, so it's best to arrive early or you won't be able to visit many attractions.
So you should arrange your travel time reasonably.
The evening is basically a performance.
But you must bring a change of clothes, the waterfall inside is huge
Many people came out with wet clothes.
This is not fun.
You can park outside the gate. You can park your car here.
After all, it is a 5A scenic spot
The performances are great and it's worth going there. It's nice to come here in the summer.
It's just average, quite similar to Happy Valley in Shanghai. The things are pretty much the same. Fortunately, it was off-season so there weren't many people, and many of the park's facilities were accessible without having to queue for long periods of time.
I went there at night. It was very good. Many projects are free. It is worth a visit.
Dream Valley seems to be the only tourist attraction in Hengdian that welcomes tourists at night. In the afternoon, we first visited the Qingming Shanghe Tu (Along the River During the Qingming Festival) painting. Driving from there to Dream Valley takes less than three minutes, but it took us 10 minutes to find a parking spot. It's the National Day holiday, so everyone knows how crowded it is. There's a water park inside, called Water World, but it was closed because the weather had cooled down. Since we were there for the show, we went straight to the point: the rainstorm, flash floods, and Dream Tai Chi.
Dream Valley is a large-scale nighttime film and television experience theme park in Hengdian. It's a must-see at night, and while tickets are a bit pricey, it's well worth the trip. It features a water world, amusement rides, and two large-scale live performances: "Dream Tai Chi" and "Rainstorm and Flash Flood." The show features volcanic eruptions and floods, both spectacular and thrilling. There's also a bungee jumping machine, a Ferris wheel, and other thrilling rides!
Similar to Happy Valley, it's a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Some attractions have long lines, but the management is excellent; if you try to cut in line, the staff will rush you! At night, when the lights are on, everything becomes a fairytale dream. Add in two performances, and your night in Hengdian will be even more exciting!
Of course, the meal in the scenic area is 35 yuan for a bowl of noodles and 5 yuan for a bottle of water. You can eat your fill before going in.
The Dream Valley under the night sky will allow you to let go of your fatigue and return to your childhood!
There were so many people that I basically walked around and went home.
Hengdian Dream Valley is a Hengdian attraction located within the former Cultural Village area of Hengdian Film and Television City, integrated with the Jiangnan Water Village scenic area. It primarily features nighttime parades, and the scenery is even better at night. It includes the main entrance, a banyan grove offering a primeval forest experience, the Yadan landforms offering a glimpse into the charm of the Western Regions, the thrilling "Volcanic Eruption" experience, a participatory gambling and entertainment area, a treasure-hiding pirate ghost house, an earthquake experience museum, a food street, a time-space waterfall connecting the Jiangnan Water Village and the Cultural Village, and the panoramic music and dance magic show "Dream Tai Chi."
There are 2 performances and many amusement facilities. The food in the scenic area is expensive and not tasty.
Dream Valley is essentially a typical amusement park, perfect for children. It has plenty of thrilling rides for adventurous youngsters, but it's incredibly crowded during the weekend, so I had to wait an hour and a half for each ride. I was lucky to get in. The Ferris wheel, which I had been eagerly anticipating, was incredibly crowded, so I didn't get to ride it. If you're going for the water rides, be sure to check to see if they're closed beforehand; they were already closed in early September 2015. It opens around 2:30 PM, so if you're visiting on a weekend, expect a lot of people, so get there early to get in line.
On the afternoon of August 10th, I exited the Qin Palace, turned left, crossed the parking lot, and walked for about 15 minutes to Dream Valley. It was 3:30 PM, so I thought it wasn't open, but when I checked in, I saw we were already allowed in. Water World was already full of people, not opening at 4 PM as officially announced. Of course, many rides weren't open yet and would open as more people came in. The 7:30 PM Dream Tai Chi and the 8:30 PM live performances of Torrential Rain and Flash Floods are must-sees and are the highlights of Dream Valley. The Dream Tai Chi performances have reserved seating, but it didn't seem like there were many. The Torrential Rain and Flash Floods performances don't have reserved seating, but the front few rows are said to be the wet zone. There are VIP seats available for an additional 30 RMB, which get you a good seat in the middle. If you want to enjoy all the attractions and see the show, you'll need to plan carefully, as many rides require waiting in line, and getting a good seat for the show requires time-consuming and scrambling to secure a good seat. Time is limited, and sometimes you have to make trade-offs.
The Dream Tai Chi and Torrential Flash Flood live performances are truly worth seeing, showcasing the interplay of water and fire. After 7 p.m., most people are busy running around the Dream Tai Chi and Torrential Flash Flood theaters. Those who want to combine the water world with the various rides and live performances will need to plan their schedules carefully.
It feels like a large amusement park with many rides. There is also a water park when the weather is hot. It is quite crowded and you have to queue for a while for each ride. The night view is still quite beautiful~~
This place is truly unique. The rides and water park are all mixed together. As long as you bring your swimsuit, you can freely move between the rides and water park, playing whatever you want. Happy Valley is separate; you can't go to Maya Beach and then run out to play the Snow Mountain Flying Dragon (one of the rides, basically a roller coaster).
There are so many people here, just like dumplings being cooked in a pot!
Dream Valley is actually very large. Because I was traumatized by the thrilling rides at Wenzhou Paradise, I only dared to play the children's rides. For girls, the children's play area is also very attractive. It's super cute and interesting. My little sweetheart from Daddy's Back has also been there. You can also make pottery and chocolate...
The flying car show and the Dream Tai Chi show in Dream Valley must not be missed, especially the Dream Tai Chi show, this show alone is worth the entire ticket price!
Dream Valley opens at 2 PM, and the pool is open until 8 PM! There are a lot of rides, and some popular ones require a queue! It's really fun! The two evening shows start at 8 PM and 9 PM, so be sure to plan your time accordingly!
It integrates amusement parks, performances, parks and businesses, with endless activities to play and endless performances to watch!
It was probably Chinese Valentine's Day when we went there, with fireworks going off non-stop. The two single guys were completely tortured.
Dream Valley is still a place worth visiting. It has a water world, exciting entertainment projects, a children's playground for children, and dream Tai Chi and rainstorm and flash flood performances. It will take at least half a day to play them all.
Bao saw the aerial cable car and couldn't walk anymore. She kept thinking about riding it. After watching the show, there were fewer people in line, so we went to sit down and fulfilled her wish.
Dream Valley is an amusement park. It is better to go there in the evening. The neon lights at night are very beautiful.
Dream Valley is really a must-visit place when you come to Hengdian. It has a large amusement park and two great performances. We played the projects suitable for the elderly, rode the carousel twice, and had a lot of fun. We took a stable little train. We wanted to go to the Ferris wheel but the show was about to start, so we watched the show. We opened our mouths wide and showed our teeth the whole time. We were so happy.
