Hengdian Film and Television City Dream Valley Scenic Area

Dream Valley is really a must-visit place when you come to Hengdian. It has a large amusement park and two great performances. We played the projects suitable for the elderly, rode the carousel twice, and had a lot of fun. We took a stable little train. We wanted to go to the Ferris wheel but the show was about to start, so we watched the show. We opened our mouths wide and showed our teeth the whole time. We were so happy.

Dream Valley was so much fun! It had a water park, a carousel, bumper cars, and other kid-friendly activities. Best of all, they had a dolphin show, making it perfect for taking the kids. There were also two fantastic shows. I highly recommend Dream Valley; it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back more often.

The tickets are too expensive, not worth the price. Moreover, you need to be in a group of four to play on the water. I finally lined up for an hour, but the staff would not let us in, saying that we need to be in a group of four. I went with my family of three, and they told us how to find someone. Originally, the staff were supposed to arrange it for us. For example, if they wanted to find 20 people in a car, how would they find them? If we were to go in groups of four, four people would be enough.

There are a lot of things to eat, the wontons are delicious😋, and the Lao Hengdian yogurt is also super delicious😋.

Both Dream Valley and Guangzhou Street/Hong Kong Street offer hot air balloon tours, with prices around 100 yuan per person. Don't expect too much from these hot air balloons, though. They're anchored to the ground at their four corners and can only reach a certain altitude, offering panoramic views of Hengdian, but the flight time is very short. Don't imagine it as a real flight. If you haven't ridden a hot air balloon before, give it a try. While the flight height is limited and the flight time is shorter, hot air balloons aren't designed for extended rides, so a ten-minute ride to experience the scenery is a good option. There's also a UFO-shaped hydrogen balloon, which flies at the same altitude and for the same duration.

In addition to the water park, Dream Valley also has two large-scale live performances, which was one of the reasons for my trip. They were truly amazing! (I can't say that enough, three times!) At the entrance, you'll need to buy a ticket for the live performances. They'll assign you a showtime based on your reservation time and the day's crowds. Each show has two shows, and you enter with your ticket, at 8 PM and 9 PM. Dream Valley also has many rides, dolphin and sea lion shows, puppet shows, and more. The specific showtimes are displayed on a looping LED screen after you enter the park. I loved the super loudspeaker; it was really fun. I waited for half an hour and basically enjoyed everything by myself. When I got to the big slide, I was afraid to get off. I held on to the staff and wouldn't let go, hahaha. But after I got off, it didn't seem that scary anymore. I'm most afraid of weightlessness and high speeds.

Located within Hengdian Film and Television Studios, Dream Valley is a large-scale nighttime film and television experience theme park featuring a variety of rides and performances. Tips:

Since the park is a night amusement park, it is open for only 5 hours. The amusement facilities are basically closed around 19:40, and the rest are all performances.

There are supporting facilities such as changing rooms, fast food restaurants, etc. in the world area, so you need to bring your own swimsuits and toiletries.

You can only enter after 2 pm and it ends at 10 pm, which is enough. Some projects are a bit repetitive. You can queue for more than an hour to play a large one. Some individual projects are charged. It’s fun and exciting, but when there are some drops, my heart really can’t stand it. It’s too exciting. If I want to play with the other Qinhuang Palace in Hengdian, I must stay overnight.

You can go to the official website to find the performance time of the day. There is a dolphin show. The most exciting ones are the Dream Tai Chi and the rainstorm and flash flood. Although I didn’t understand it, the giant performance effect was shocking and the funds were burned.

You must wear a swimsuit to play in the water world. There is no regulation on what shoes to wear, but slippers and sandals are the best. It costs 30 yuan to rent a locker, and there is a 20 yuan deposit. You can put your belongings together, and they will also give you a waterproof coin bag. Although it says not to put electronic devices, I still put them in. Emmmm, some water will still enter. After all, there is a big drop when playing, and people get wet all over.

I played on the windmill, carousel, bumper cars and horror house with you. After playing, I felt dizzy and not as energetic as you, but I still wanted to play with you. In the evening, we watched the evening performance of Torrential Rain and Flash Flood and Dream Tai Chi together. It was spectacular and shocking.

We arrived early in the season, so Water World and the flash floods were closed, which was a shame! The dolphin show is pretty much the same everywhere. The hot air balloon ride is 100 yuan for two people. The food court is full of snacks and other things. The ticket comes with a 20 yuan voucher, which is enough for a meal. The fantastic light show, with a 2-hour queue and a 2-minute entrance... While not as detailed as Songcheng Eternal Love, the simulated volcanic eruption is quite realistic! The first thing to do when you come to Dream Valley is to play, and the second is to see. After playing, you can go to watch two major performances:

One is the country's first shocking experiential disaster show "Heavy Rain and Flash Floods", which makes you feel as if you are there and is terrifying.

What I did back then was a waste of time. I just went to a nightclub for fun. Too many people. Too many people. I couldn't see much. And then I forgot what I saw. I followed the tour group aimlessly. When I got there, I had no idea what to do. I just followed the guide's flag.

Dream Valley Amusement Park is still worth a visit, and the effect is better when the lights are turned on at night

Dream Valley is incredibly crowded, giving it a bit of an amusement park feel. However, the Jiangnan Temple Fair during the Spring Festival is definitely worth a visit; it truly embodies the festive spirit. The two performances—Rainstorm and Flash Flood and Fantasy Tai Chi—are truly spectacular, and they're definitely not to be missed. There's also plenty of food to eat, though prices are definitely a bit higher than outside. However, if you arrive after 4 PM, you'll still be able to enjoy a lot. I heard there's a water park in the summer, which might be more suitable for children.

Personally, I feel it's just average. It's half scenery and half entertainment. There are too few amusement facilities and too many people queuing. I queued for two games and finished playing in one night. The scenery in Dream Valley is not as good as the Qingming Shanghe Tu that I visited the next day.

It's not worth it. It's really boring to come here in winter. It's a rip-off. The entrance ticket says 22:15, and it's freezing in the middle of winter. If you want to enter earlier, you can only pay for VIP, 50 per ticket, which is too dark.

The only place in Hengdian that has amusement facilities is that I went there at the wrong time, so there was no water park or dolphin show. Everything else was pretty good.

The evening show was great! The other rides were just average.

Both shows boast stunning visuals, a grand scale, and a truly impressive spectacle. I personally consider them a must-see when visiting Hengdian.

Parents with children are advised not to miss it~ "Heavy Rain and Flash Flood" is an open-air performance, and the venue is also open-air. Although there are seat numbers on the tickets, no one will sit according to seats for this performance, so it is recommended to sit closer to the front. This way, you can not only avoid being missed when taking pictures, but most importantly, you can see more clearly~ There are also VIP seats at the front, and you can enter for a fee.

It snowed during the day when I went there. Although it didn't snow at night, it didn't mean it wasn't cold. I ended up freezing cold when I came out. However, I was still a little scared when I saw the flash flood that almost drowned those children. I was worried about them. Finally, we left after watching the flash flood. Because it was winter and it snowed during the day, many facilities were not open. Even so, we were quite short on time. You can imagine how much you can do if you want to watch the shows and play when there are many people. Maybe it's because its main attraction is not amusement facilities, I feel that it is not as fun as the things in Happy Valley. But since we are in Hengdian, we naturally can't miss Dream Valley.

For the water park, be sure to bring your swimming gear. I highly recommend "Aden Storm" and "Dream Tai Chi."

There's a water park inside, called Water World, but it was closed because the weather had cooled down. Since we were there for the show, we went straight to the point: the rainstorm, flash floods, and Dream Tai Chi.

Hengdian Dream Valley is a Hengdian attraction located within the former Cultural Village area of Hengdian Film and Television City, integrated with the Jiangnan Water Village scenic area. It includes the main entrance, a banyan grove offering a primeval forest experience, the Yadan landforms offering a glimpse into the charm of the Western Regions, the thrilling "Volcanic Eruption" experience, a participatory gambling and entertainment area, a treasure-hiding pirate ghost house, an earthquake experience museum, a food street, a time-space waterfall connecting the Jiangnan Water Village and the Cultural Village, and the panoramic music and dance magic show "Dream Tai Chi."

There are 2 performances and many amusement facilities. The food in the scenic area is expensive and not tasty.

Dream Valley is essentially a typical amusement park, perfect for children. It has plenty of thrilling rides for adventurous youngsters, but it's incredibly crowded during the weekend, so I had to wait an hour and a half for each ride. I was lucky to get in. The Ferris wheel, which I had been eagerly anticipating, was incredibly crowded, so I didn't get to ride it. If you're going for the water rides, be sure to check to see if they're closed beforehand; they were already closed in early September 2015. It opens around 2:30 PM, so if you're visiting on a weekend, expect a lot of people, so get there early to get in line.

On the afternoon of August 10th, I exited the Qin Palace, turned left, crossed the parking lot, and walked for about 15 minutes to Dream Valley. It was 3:30 PM, so I thought it wasn't open, but when I checked in, I saw we were already allowed in. Water World was already full of people, not opening at 4 PM as officially announced. Of course, many rides weren't open yet and would open as more people came in. The 7:30 PM Dream Tai Chi and the 8:30 PM live performances of Torrential Rain and Flash Floods are must-sees and are the highlights of Dream Valley. The Dream Tai Chi performances have reserved seating, but it didn't seem like there were many. The Torrential Rain and Flash Floods performances don't have reserved seating, but the front few rows are said to be the wet zone. There are VIP seats available for an additional 30 RMB, which get you a good seat in the middle. If you want to enjoy all the attractions and see the show, you'll need to plan carefully, as many rides require waiting in line, and getting a good seat for the show requires time-consuming and scrambling to secure a good seat. Time is limited, and sometimes you have to make trade-offs.

After 7 p.m., most people are busy running around the Dream Tai Chi and Torrential Flash Flood theaters. Those who want to combine the water world with the various rides and live performances will need to plan their schedules carefully.

It feels like a large amusement park with many rides. There is also a water park when the weather is hot. It is quite crowded and you have to queue for a while for each ride. The night view is still quite beautiful~~

Happy Valley is separate; you can't go to Maya Beach and then run out to play the Snow Mountain Flying Dragon (one of the rides, basically a roller coaster).
