Climbing to the top of Huangshan Mountain and looking northwest, you can see more than 90 islands, which resemble the Chinese character "公" (public) and are like strings of pearls scattered on the lake.
Looking southeast, a deep canyon runs between the peak of Huangshan Mountain and Xianshan Island. Looking southwest, a boundless lake stretches as far as the eye can see, with Laoshan Island hidden in the mist.
The various islands and winding harbors form a series of beautiful landscapes.

This is the most worthwhile island in the two Qiandao Lake areas, bar none. Personally, I think it's even better than Meifeng Island. This island is part of the Southeast Lake area's tourist zone. We bought tickets for a second-day tour the next day and made this the first island we visited in the Southeast Lake area. The scenery is just as stunning as the online Qiandao Lake promotional photos. If you're taking a Qiandao Lake cruise, you'll usually want to allow an hour to spend on this island. I highly recommend taking the cable car up, not because the walk is tiring, but because it takes so much time. Since you only have an hour, it's essential to take the cable car to fully appreciate the scenery. The cable car fare is 10 yuan cheaper than Meifeng Island, at 50 yuan per person round trip. There's a snapshot booth on the island, two photos for 20 yuan in the off-season, so I highly recommend taking a photo; it's better than taking your own, and it makes for a great souvenir.
This is one of the three scenic spots in the Southeast Lake District, the source of Nongfu Spring's water supply and the setting for the iconic Qiandao Lake landscape, "The World for All." The Southeast Scenic Area boat trip takes you here as the first stop, but the island stay isn't very long. While there's a cable car that takes you directly to the top, the 50 yuan price is quite steep for a two- to three-minute ride. Those with more stamina can skip the ride and climb up on their own. (I strongly suspect the short stay was intended to force the elderly and children to pay for the cable car.)
The view is great! I personally feel it is better than the central lake area. I recommend taking the cable car. See the travel notes for details.
Destroyed by water, born by water, the ancient city at the bottom of the lake is waiting for the right person.
Today, Fei Keda saves space and pays the actual wind to change the direction.
The view of Qiandao Lake from the top of Huangshan Mountain is superb. More than 90 islands are in full view, like strings of pearls scattered on the lake.
Huangshan Peak did not disappoint. Climbing to the top and looking out over the islands, I felt a sense of sudden enlightenment. However, the scenic area fees seemed a bit high. The scenic area entrance fee was 150 yuan, the boat ticket was 45 yuan, and after boarding the boat, it was necessary to charge an additional 60 yuan to go to the upper level (they said the second level had air conditioning). The Huangshan Peak cable car was 60 yuan round trip.
The highest point in the southeast area of Qiandao Lake can be reached by boat from the southeast pier in more than ten minutes. After reaching the top, you can enjoy the "gong"-shaped islands.
The best vantage point for panoramic views of Qiandao Lake. Due to cable car maintenance, the hike up the island is surprisingly easy, taking only an hour and a half round trip. From the summit of Huangshan Peak, overlooking the northwest, you'll see a natural formation of four characters: "天下为公." The character "公" is vivid, while the remaining characters are left to imagination. While not as high as Meifeng Island in the central lake area in terms of altitude and number of islands, Huangshan Peak's unique shape is a plus. The summit's three-tiered observation deck offers a chance to enjoy the view and take photos from various angles, away from the crowds.
A highlight of Qiandao Lake, you can take a cable car to the essence of Qiandao Lake.
Huangshan Peak in the southeast lake area is quite good, with great scenery. You can also see the four words "天下为公" formed by many islands. The word "公" is the most similar, and the other words are just a matter of personal preference.
OK, after visiting Mount Huangshan, you won’t want to see any other mountains. After visiting the Five Sacred Mountains, you won’t want to see any other mountains.
The island where you can see the words "天下为公" (The World for All) is not very high, and a gentle climb to the top takes 20-30 minutes. You can also take the cable car. During the climb, there's a platform near the top where you can look out. Due to the overcast weather, all you can see is a vast expanse of white. I'm not happy with that, but I can just barely make out the faint shadow of the "公" character. No, the weather isn't cooperating.
Upon reaching Huangshan Peak, the tour guide recommends taking the cable car (50 yuan per person), but you can also hike up the mountain on your own. The tour guide (a guide is assigned to any group of 15 or more on the Thousand Island Lake cruise) gives you approximately 70 minutes to explore each island, and the climb up the mountain takes about 20 minutes. We chose to take the cable car to Huangshan Peak, hoping to save time and enjoy more time on the mountain. However, the line for the cable car was surprisingly long. By the time we reached the summit, those who had chosen to hike had already made it. Huangshan Peak is the only island in the southeastern lake area with beautiful scenery; the other islands are average.
It's more beautiful than Meifeng.
It was off-season when I went, and the cable car was out of service for maintenance. It took a lot of effort to climb to the top of Huangshan. The scenery wasn't breathtaking, but it was certainly pleasant! But it's true that after going there once, I definitely wouldn't want to go back a second time.
Climbing to the top of Huangshan Peak, you can see the four words "天下为公" (The world belongs to all) and have a panoramic view of 100 islands. It's not worth taking the cable car, as the climb takes about 15 minutes.
The highest point for a bird's-eye view of the Southeast Lake District. The cable car costs 50 yuan per person to go up and down, and you can choose to hike to the top. It's quite good.
The world belongs to all. When I went there, it was August in the summer and the weather was very hot. When I stood on the glass bridge and took pictures of the world belongs to all, I was really amazed by the wonders of nature.
Huangshan Peak is an excellent place to experience the unique characteristics of Qiandao Lake, especially the Chinese character "公" (Chinese character for "公") formed by small islands, which is naturally formed and wonderful beyond words.
The overall commercial atmosphere in the Southeast Lake District is much weaker than that in the Central Lake District. Personally, I think the scenery viewed from the top of Huangshan Peak, except for the tall buildings in the distance that spoil the view, is actually more beautiful than the view from Meifeng Peak. It takes half an hour to climb the mountain with stops and starts, which is more tiring than Meifeng Peak.
I had forgotten which island it was. When I saw a big teapot, we were all fooled into going in. It turned out that they were selling tea. Although they didn't force me to buy, I still couldn't resist the temptation and bought 3 bags of tea on Taobao.
The scenic spot at Huangshan Peak is the famous "Tianxia Wei Gong" (World for the Public). When we visited, the weather was overcast and foggy, and the scenery was intermittent, hazy and dreamy, like a fairyland. To reach the top of Huangshan Peak, you can choose to climb up by yourself or take the cable car, but the boat has a limited stay on the island. If you climb the mountain by yourself, you will have less time to enjoy the scenery at the top. Taking the cable car can save time climbing and give you more time to enjoy the scenery, but the cable car trip is very short and there is really not much to see.
The world is for the public, no need to say more, just feel it for yourself. I happened to see ants moving, hoo hoo!
Located in the Southeast Lake Scenic Area, this is a very nice viewing platform. It is similar to the Meifeng Viewing Platform in the Central Lake Scenic Area, except that it only has a 180-degree view. However, the scenery is much better than that of Meifeng! Highly recommended. The cable car costs 30 for a one-way trip and 50 for a round trip. It is recommended not to climb the mountain in the summer.
The breathtaking scenery at Huangshan Peak makes you marvel at the wonders of nature. Climbing to the summit offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, the scenery is truly breathtaking. This island isn't often visited. To see the inscription "天下为公" (The World for All) you have to climb to the observation deck at the top. The small section of the platform that extends out is made of glass, which requires some courage. The entrance fee is 150 yuan. A round-trip cable car ride is 50 yuan. Seeing the inscription at the top is truly awe-inspiring, awe-inspiring, and truly uncanny workmanship.
Huangshan Peak Scenic Spot is a new scenic spot developed by Qiandao Lake in 2005. It has built various tourist reception facilities such as the dock management area, tourist service center, mid-mountain viewing platform and mountain top viewing platform.
I couldn't even make out the words "天下为" (world for the public). It's very obvious, but it's still worth a visit. I barely had time to climb up, so I had to take the cable car. The restrooms were clean, but the cold drinks were expensive. A Kawaiiduo cost 15... The boat trip was long, taking 6 hours. I suggest bringing your own snacks.
Climbing the mountain is really tiring, I suggest you take the cable car and walk down~
The highest peak in the southeastern part of Qiandao Lake offers breathtaking views of the lake. A cable car is available for quick access, costing 30 yuan. Upon reaching the summit, there are at least three levels of observation decks, offering panoramic views of the southeastern part of Qiandao Lake from various heights and angles.
It's very famous and people say you can see the four characters "天下为公" (world for the public), but in fact, you can only understand it by looking down from a helicopter. It's a bit insignificant to look at it from the mountain.
It takes half an hour to go up and down. My legs are a little shaking after the trip. I go up the mountain just to see the scenery of the world being shared by all.
The scenery is great. Don't listen to what people say online about the cable car being a rip-off and only taking 20 minutes to get up. Damn, I work out regularly, and I was exhausted as a dog climbing up. The scenery up there is really nice. The cable car is only 50 yuan round trip, and you have plenty of time to have some fun once you're up there. If you really want to save money, just take the one-way trip up and down. And there's no scenery at all on the way up the mountain! !
This is the flagship island of the southeastern lake district, home to Qiandao Lake's signature landscape: the Chinese character "公" (public) symbolizing the common people. After disembarking, there's a cable car, which supposedly takes only a few minutes and isn't inexpensive. My husband and I climbed up. While it wasn't too high, we still got a bit winded because we were on a time limit. Once there, there's a viewing platform where you can clearly see the islands forming the Chinese character. Highly recommended!
A great scenic spot with unexpected natural scenery. Climbing to the top of the island and looking out at the large characters that form the world for all is a great spectacle.
I only saw Xiahegong, the scenery is still good
It's okay, the scenery is nice, the altitude is 266 meters, but it's not easy to climb up
If you've already been to Meifeng Island, there's no need to go there. The scenery is pretty much the same. Before coming to Qiandao Lake, I planned to try all three routes, A, B, and C, but ended up doing two. After visiting, I recommend just one route. The scenery is pretty much the same. I only did routes A and C, and I personally recommend route A.
Since the tour time was short, we chose to take the cable car up the mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain was very good and worth going.
Qiandao Lake is a vast blue lake surrounded by lush green.
Green mountains, clear waters, serene birds, and a tranquil lake. Qiandao Lake presents a different landscape in every season. In the distance, rolling hills, in the near distance, islands perched on the lake's surface, "man-made yet seemingly created by nature." Gazing at the islands and wandering the waters day after day, I'm ready to live in Chun'an forever. Every encounter with Qiandao Lake is a visual feast.
It's hard to tell whether it's clouds or mist, gently enveloping the mountains, creating a fairyland-like scene. Whether a fairy ever stepped out of this landscape painting remains to be seen. The painting, separated from the water, adds a touch of mystery, yet evokes memories of the "Thousand Peaks" of years past, the former life of Qiandao Lake.
People walk on the shore, birds fly through the mountains, and their reflections are reflected in the clear stream, just like "people walking in a mirror, birds flying through a screen." Such a beautiful reflection is truly refreshing. The boat seems to be sitting in the sky, the people seem to be walking in the mirror, and the fish seem to be suspended in the mirror.
Adult tickets are 50 yuan, and children seem to be half price. However, the scenery is amazing. To the west, you can see more than 90 islands, which look like the Chinese character "公" (gong). To the southeast, a deep canyon passes between Huangshan Peak and Xianshan Island. To the southwest, you can see the vast lake, with Laoshan Island hidden in the clouds... It is a very worthwhile scenery to see.
The scenic area is located in Southeast Lake. Regular Southeast Lake tours will take you to this mountain. It is recommended not to take the cable car, but to hike up. There is no problem with time and physical strength at all. You can also see the scenery that you can't see from the cable car to the top of the mountain.
In the Southeast Lake District, I think the scenery is better than Meifeng Island
Although there's a walking trail at Huangshan Peak, time is limited, so we had to take the cable car up and down. I wonder if this is a management strategy for the scenic area. Upon reaching the summit, there are two observation decks, each overlooking the same lake. The upper deck offers a better view. From there, you can see the Chinese character "公" (public) formed by small islands. In fact, the scenery at Huangshan Peak seems to be limited to this "公" (public). After a half-hour of observation and photo-taking, it's almost time to descend.
Qiandao Lake is like a dream and is breathtakingly beautiful.
After reaching the top of Huangshan Peak, you can overlook the various small islands, which are connected to form the Chinese character "公".
The overall scenery is good. I didn't see the ladyboys and snakes.
The speedboat arrived at Huangshan Island, and the public boat had just arrived at the large pier nearby, so we were just ahead of the crowds heading up to the mountain's observation deck. There weren't too many people on the boat, and the tour guide explained that even on such a hot day, there were still 4,000 to 5,000 people enjoying the central lake area.
When we got to the observation deck, the view was truly stunning. The dotted islands formed the famous Chinese character for "公" (public), which I took a few photos of. However, the view didn't quite have the expansive feel of the photos. But in China, any scenery without people is a good one.
Qiandao Lake is indeed beautiful, but it lacks cultural heritage.
It's actually a very small island, but its only drawcard is the breathtaking bird's-eye view of Thousand Island Lake from the summit. There are two ways to reach the summit: take the cable car (50 yuan per person round trip) or hike, which takes about 30 to 40 minutes. The weather was hot and humid, so we opted for the cable car, which took only 5 minutes to reach the top. The view... is simply breathtaking! There are many observation decks, and every angle is breathtaking.
It is a small mountain. From the top of Huangshan Mountain, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Qiandao Lake. The presence of Huangshan Mountain is enough to convince you to come to Qiandao Lake. It is strongly recommended that you choose Route C (Southeast Lake Area) if you are traveling independently to avoid the crowds and see the more beautiful Qiandao Lake.
We spent a day touring Qiandao Lake and the scenery was indeed beautiful.
The hill is not high, but climbing it is strenuous. It is interesting to be able to read the words at the top.
I think the most beautiful view of Qiandao Lake is from the peak of Huangshan Mountain in the southeastern part of the lake, gazing at this "world for all." Nearby, countless islands are visible, while in the distance, the tranquil expanse of the lake and the winding, rolling mountains are breathtaking. The sight is truly refreshing.
It is a scenic spot in Qiandao Lake and has nothing to do with Huangshan. It is a place for the public to visit. You can climb it by yourself and there is no need to take the cable car.
In fact, Qiandao Lake is just a mountain, which is similar to the rest of the world, but the air is really fresh.
However, Huangshan Peak is still worth climbing to see. This island requires climbing some mountains, taking a cable car, and climbing a mountain. For ordinary people, it is not a big amount of exercise and is quite suitable for leisure. However, for me, the last time I climbed such a mountain, I was basically wilted after coming down. It was helpless. It turned out that this place is really similar to the promotional pictures of Qiandao Lake. The scenery is very comfortable and pleasant.
When I went to Qiandao Lake Scenic Area, I visited several islands and I think I went to this place. It has been a long time and I dare not confirm it.
You can skip Meifeng Island, but you must go to Huangshan Peak, the scenery is even better than that of the central lake area.
Because it is said to be the best place to see the panoramic view of Qiandao Lake, I decided to spend time at the top of Huangshan Mountain. You have to take the cable car to go up, but not many people seem to go, so you don’t have to queue. Reaching the top of the mountain gives you a sense of sudden enlightenment, and looking down at the islands scattered like a star map is quite interesting. It is said that you can see the distribution of islands that "the world belongs to the public", but perhaps I lack imagination and can’t make any sense of it.
Looking from a high point, you can see a large lake and island
The densely packed islands are at your feet, and you instantly feel relaxed and happy! ! ! ! !
The scenery is great, but it was very hot when I went there in June...
You can overlook Qiandao Lake by climbing to the highest point of the island, but don't go up if it's foggy or smoggy, as you won't be able to see anything.
Huangshan Peak is the first island to visit in the Southeast Lake Scenic Area. When you climb to the top of the mountain to see the four characters "天下为公" (The world is for the public), you can see the character "公" clearly, while the other three characters are not so clear. However, the scenery on the top of the mountain is not bad. The fog also dissipated in the afternoon, and the scenery is clearer. It takes about 30 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain and back. There is a cable car that you can choose to take. It costs 50 yuan per person for a round trip and 35 yuan per person for a one-way trip. You only have 50 minutes to play at Huangshan Peak, which feels very tight. After taking pictures in a hurry at the top of the mountain, you have to rush back to catch the boat.
At the Huangshan Peak Observation Deck, you can see what I think is the most beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake.
You can overlook the entire Qiandao Lake from the balcony and experience the magnificent spectacle of the "Thousand Islands dotted across the lake"
Climbing to the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. It is an excellent viewing point.
Qiandao Lake and Huangshan Peak offer stunning views! Seeing the photo series "Seeing the World for All" was truly astonishing!
I went there in March and was able to see the Golden Belt. Although it was a bit cold, the scenery was still good.
The highest peak of Qiandao Lake, "天下为公" (The World for All) is quite impressive.
These are the two most commanding heights of Qiandao Lake. However, this area is still under construction and has few tourists.
Sitting in a boat and paddling on the water, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake in spring. Qiandao Lake is a lake with thousands of islands!
There was a lot of fog when we went there, so visibility was not very high, but the scenery was still beautiful.
The four characters "天下为公" (The World Belongs to the Public) are vivid and imposing, making it a wonder of the world, the world's largest "public." Looking southeast, a deep canyon runs between Huangshan Peak and Xianshan Island. Looking southwest, a boundless lake stretches as far as the eye can see, with Laoshan Island shrouded in mist. Huangshan Peak is located within the Pearl Islands in the southeastern part of Qiandao Lake, adjacent to the Xianshan Tourist Resort. With its main peak at 266 meters above sea level, it is the highest island in the Pearl Islands. The scenic area is characterized by its "splendid waters, unique islands, and secluded scenery." There are also mid-mountain and summit viewing platforms. Guests can take a cable car or ascend the steps to enjoy the singing birds and fragrant flowers.
