"Nine Creeks in the Mist" is one of the ten new scenic spots of West Lake. It is located at the foot of Jiguanlong in the mountains to the west of West Lake, connected to Longjing in the north and Qiantang River in the south. Jiuxi is located to the west of Yanxialing and to the south of Longjing Mountain. The water of Jiuxi twists and turns nine times before flowing out, so it is called Jiuxi.

The world-famous West Lake Longjing tea, also known as "Shifeng Longjing", is concentrated in the "Wengjia Mountain" around Longjing Village in West Lake, Hangzhou, and the "Wuyun Mountain", "Jiuxi Shibajian" and "Shili Langyao" around Meijiawu. The road between Jiuxi Yanshu and Longjing Village is where Jiuxi Shibajian is located. Jiuxi Shibajian can only be reached on foot. If you drive, there are many tourists and you can only drive slowly.



It rained heavily when we were returning, so we ran to the pavilion next to the smoke tree to take shelter from the rain. The rain in the mountains was very cold, and it was over my ankles. My feet were very painful after soaking. It took as long as we walked back to the B&B. When traveling on rainy days, you must take good protection.

Jiuxi Misty Trees should be connected to Yunqi Bamboo Path. Those who are willing to hike should be able to walk from Yunqi to Jiuxi. I returned to the boarding point from Yunqi and continued to take bus 103 to Jiuxi.

After getting off at Jiuxi bus station, if you walk to Jiuxi Yanshu Waterfall, it may take about 40 minutes. I chose to take a 5-yuan minibus. If it is spring and you have plenty of time, I still recommend you to walk there. The scenery along the way is also very nice.

Jiuxi Yanshu is probably the most beautiful in the late autumn red leaf season. It is a very quiet place.

Walking all the way from Longjing Village is "Nine Creeks in the Mist", one of the "New Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake". Many locals come here to take photos and have fun. The clear springs in the mountains are the favorite place for children to play. When we went there, there were people wading in the water, so it seemed that the water was not very cold.

Jiuxi is a place I personally like very much. In summer, you can escape the heat and there are few people. In autumn, the leaves are red, green, yellow, red and blue, colorful and gorgeous. Walking down along Longjing Village, you will reach Jiuxi Shibajian. At the end of Jiuxi Shibajian is Jiuxi Yanshu. You can obviously feel that there are more people there, and the scenery is average, so we didn’t stay for long.

In fact, you can also hike to Jiuxi Yanshu from Yangmeiling. We only walked a short distance in the opposite direction from Jiuxi Yanshu. The trees in this section are taller and the forest is older and deeper.

Jiuxi Shibajian is a small highlight in the back mountain of West Lake. The stream water appears blue from certain angles, but overall it is delicate but not stunning. In particular, there is a strange section of mountain road. When you climb up, you will find that it is surrounded by vegetation. There is no viewing platform at all, and instead you feel fooled.

I called a Didi and was taken directly to Linhai. The water here is crystal clear. Many parents who went there on weekends brought their children to play in the water. The surprise came from the waterfall. I never thought that there was another waterfall.

There is nothing to see during the Spring Festival in winter. Spring and autumn are the best. The water is clear in spring and there are red maple leaves in autumn! Jiuxi Smoky Trees is one of the eight new scenic spots in Hangzhou (or ten, I forgot). I came to Jiuxi because of a line in the lyrics: "Hidden in the mist of Jiuxi". The waterfall in Jiuxi is very beautiful, falling slowly from the mountain. There are fewer tourists on rainy days, so we took some nice pictures. Because of the rain, layers of fog rose from the mountain. The driver said that the Longjing here grows well because it absorbs the fog. Because of the rain, the road leading to the mountain was closed, so we could only look at the scenery from below.

Jiuxi Yanshu is a pond surrounded by a row of trees. Behind the trees is a mountain with streams and small waterfalls on the mountain. It doesn’t look like anything special in the summer.

Friendly reminder: You can climb up to the top of the mountain from the waterfall, but there is only a small pavilion on the top of the mountain where you can rest. You can't see any scenery. I personally think it is not worth climbing. Don't ask me how I know = =

Take bus No. 27 to Longjing Tea House, first take the asphalt road through Longjing Village, and then enter the Jiuxi Shibajian Scenic Area. The scenic area is free of charge, the whole road is gravel, there are lush trees and tea gardens on the roadside, it is very comfortable to walk here on a rainy day, passing many streams, cool and fresh air, and few tourists. After walking to Xizhongxi, it is about two kilometers to Jiuxi Bus Station, but most of the road from Longjing is downhill, so it is not very tiring to walk.

It's a very quiet place, the air is very good, the hiking is very comfortable, the mountains are full of tea leaves, very beautiful, and there are many newlyweds taking wedding photos.

I think the most beautiful thing is the scenery along the way. There are several streams blocking the way. You can walk over them on the stone piers, or take off your shoes and wade through the water. You can enjoy the cool and smooth water!

The foggy weather made it difficult to see the other side of the river, but rows of fishing rods were clearly visible. The rumbling trains crossed the river, and Jiuxi was quiet now. There are many mountain roads in this area. Along the streams and tea fields, you can often see many mountain runners and cross-country racers passing through here. Mountain running in such an environment should be a kind of enjoyment. But as for me, just walking slowly is very suitable. I like the air and tea fields after the rain the most, which adds a lot of artistic conception compared to sunny days. The diffuse mist makes the distant mountains look more ethereal, just like the landscape paintings that the masters sketched at will, casual and smart. A rain makes people feel like returning to the spring before the Ming Dynasty, and the tea leaves in the tea garden accidentally misunderstood and sprouted. After several days of rain, the stream gurgled and dingdonged. When the weather is better, you can come here to play in the water~

You must go. Although the journey is long, such beautiful scenery is worth the long journey. There are buses to go there, which is quite convenient. It is a free attraction.

I don't know what it's like to go there during the day. There are fewer people at night, but you can't see anything either. And the gurgling stream is not interesting after seeing Lu Village. So just smell the fragrance of the soil and tea leaves.

The Jiuxi Misty Trees are not stunning, not as pretty as the pictures on the Internet, and there are a lot of people.

Although it was noon, there were still many tourists at the entrance of the scenic area. Surrounded by green waters and green mountains, this is really a good place to escape the summer heat. In the clear water, fish are swimming happily. In the distance, there are people taking wedding photos. This beautiful scenery is really suitable for shooting.

If you go out from here, you can see a deep pool, which is said to be the Little Jiuzhaigou. Because of the green color and the reflection of the maple trees, it is so colorful and beautiful that it dazzled me.

The entrance to Jiuxi Yanshu Scenic Area is still a certain distance away from the scenic spot. You can walk, ride a bike or take a taxi. It takes about an hour to walk (play while walking). You must take the small path and walk along the stream. There will be many different scenery~Tips: Bring enough water. There is no place to sell water except at the entrance of the scenic area, but there are many teahouses and restaurants. It is also very good to enjoy a cup of tea and a meal of Longjing shrimp.

There are two roads behind Jiuxi Yanshu, one leads to Longjing Village, and the other one was not noticed.

The essence of Jiuxi lies in the Smoky Trees - tea gardens are scattered around, springs are gurgling, and the winding paths lead into Jiuxi. Eighteen streams crisscross and look out, and crossing them is like walking in heaven. The Smoky Trees are the Lingxiao Palace, where all the gods in the sky gather.



On sunny days, the colorful and clear springs and waters are even better than Jiuzhaigou; on cloudy days, the mist and rain are hazy and it looks like a fairyland, so it is called "Smoke Trees".

The most beautiful place I have visited in Hangzhou. It takes nearly two kilometers to walk from the intersection to the scenic spot. You can take the small path along the stream and tea garden instead of the asphalt road. The water flows gently, avoiding the people on the main road.
