There is an interesting flower and bird market in Wushan Square. The first floor is for flowers and the basement floor is for small animals.

Wushan Square is bound to be crowded, prosperous, lively, and full of food.

At the end of Hefang Street, it is also one of the ten new West Lake scenes. Hu Xueyan's former residence is also not far away, so you can visit it together.

We walked all the way up from the Southern Song Imperial Street. The mountain is not high or big, but there are many attractions, such as the Yaowang Temple, Dongyue Temple, and the Grand Theater. Small attractions are free of charge. As for Wushan Square, is it the small square at the foot of the mountain? One side faces the road, and there is the one near Hefang Street? It's just okay, I don't have much impression.

It is the entrance from West Lake to Hefang Street, and the Hangzhou Museum is also here.

Wushan Square is definitely crowded, but I actually stumbled upon it while looking for something to eat. The pickled mustard greens pancakes are delicious, and there's also a cute bunny tea shop that looks a lot like TWG.

The subway is being built now, and Wushan Square has been closed. Don't go there in vain.

The big square at the foot of Wushan Mountain, with a small path leading to the Hangzhou Museum halfway up the mountain, is unremarkable, with some small shops extending from the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street.

For a local like me, the most significant thing about Wushan Square is that I go hiking with my boyfriend every weekend (honestly, it's not really a mountain). Couples walk hand in hand along the mountain paths, surrounded by lush greenery, and elderly people playing chess and practicing Tai Chi. It's easy to spend an hour there.

Yan'an South Road is at the end of Wushan Square. There is a City God Pavilion on the mountain, and Wushan Tianfeng, one of the ten new West Lake scenes. The recommended tour route is Wushan Square - Hefang Street - Southern Song Imperial Street

After walking here, I found that the subway was under construction and I couldn’t enter the scenic spot.

Standing on the top of the mountain, you can look out over the Qiantang River on the left, the West Lake on the right, and back over the old city. It is a famous scenic spot.

Wushan Mountain lies southeast of Hangzhou's West Lake Scenic Area. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, this area formed the westernmost border of the Wu Kingdom, hence the name Wushan. Locals also call it Chenghuang Mountain, citing the presence of a City God Temple atop its summit. Here you can climb to the highest point and overlook the entire city of Hangzhou and see the West Lake.

Standing in the square, you can see young people doing morning exercises, middle-aged and elderly people strolling and basking in the sun, and tourist groups taking photos. The serenity on the faces of the elderly and the joy on the faces of the young seem to describe the beauty of this city. There is a road leading up the mountain from Yanwushan Square.

It is a large square, not far from the West Lake. Across the square is the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street.

Most of the square is under renovation, but the Hangzhou Museum is still open.

Wushan Square seemed to be under renovation at the time, and was completely closed and could not be entered.

Wushan Square Station on Metro Line 7 is under construction and the surrounding area has been closed, making travel very inconvenient.

It was very good. I also climbed Wushan Mountain by the way. It sounded lively on the mountain, with many people getting up early to exercise.

This place is very close to Gaoyin Food Street. Wushan is not high and the road is easy to walk on. I feel that this place is particularly suitable for exercise and taking a walk after dinner.

Go down the end of Hefang Street and you will reach the West Lake. Most buses stop here.

There is the Hangzhou Museum inside, which is actually a square for locals to have fun and stroll.

I walked along the mountain and it was already night when I arrived at Daming Mountain. What impressed me most was that there were many old ladies doing boxing.

Located on Nanshan Road, Shangcheng District, accessible by bus

Wushan Square is great, and it is also a tourist distribution center with powerful functions!

Wushan Tianfeng, one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake, is surrounded by Hefang Street, with many places worth visiting.

After strolling around Hefang Street, you'll be at Wushan Square. Climbing Wushan is a good option, and it's best to have a meal in a farmhouse teahouse on Wushan. You'll definitely be able to enjoy affordable, authentic Hangzhou-style dishes.

A very unique street in Hangzhou, selling food, souvenirs, and handmade jewelry.

I only passed by Wushan on my way to Hefang Street. I thought since I was there, I might as well take a stroll, but I was pleasantly surprised... Walking through the mountains and forests, occasionally passing people, it's a quiet place near West Lake and Hefang Street... There's the City God Pavilion on the mountain, but you need a ticket, so I didn't go there. Further up, there's a place where you can overlook the West Lake and the tall buildings...

We walked here after coming out of Hefang Street. We didn't come here specially. If you are a tourist, you don't need to come here specially.

I walked past this when I was walking on the pedestrian street (I can't remember whether it was Qinghe Street, Shizijie or Southern Song Imperial Street), and that was it, really!

To go to Wushan Square, you have to climb up the mountain to see the scenery. Don't feel tired. It's really relaxing when you reach the viewing platform.

I climbed it once at night and the scenery was nice.
Hangzhou is great for hiking

Generally, there are local specialty items sold below, and it is still very lively at night.

It is a good place for citizens to relax. You can go hiking in the evening and enjoy the cool air.

It is currently undergoing renovations, so it is not very convenient to come and play. It should be more ideal after the renovations!

It's ok, just climb the mountain, the scenery is nothing special

I went there while volunteering. Just outside Hefang Street is Wushan Square. The lower part is just like any other square, but going up is a completely different world. There's a small square with lots of people doing square dancing. It's a great environment for an evening stroll.

The square is mainly used for exhibitions of some commodities, and the flow of people is mainly in the snack street next to it.

Wushan is the path up to Wushan Tianfeng. I saw other people going up there and decided to go on a whim. I ended up climbing Wushan for two hours. It looks small, but you can actually spend quite a while there. The scenery is nice. They sell Wushan crispy cakes at the entrance for 5 yuan each. I'm not a big fan, but it's a specialty worth trying. Chenghuang Pavilion is also there, and the view from up there is fantastic! I even saw a foreign media outlet filming something there. I walked to the bottom where there's a small place dedicated to the Bodhisattva, then continued up. I was thinking about something, and then I went another way. I saw some old Hangzhou people drinking tea and playing mahjong in a teahouse on the mountain. The exit is at Qinghefang.

There is a bus stop in front, and walking forward is Hefang Street

There are too many people on statutory holidays, so I can't appreciate its beauty at all. But in the spring, when there are no people, it should be very beautiful.

Take a bus to Wushan Square and then walk to Hefang Street. It's considered an integrated experience.

After finally climbing up the mountain, we wanted to go into the City God Temple, but the tickets had to be purchased with cash. We had no cash and could only go down in disappointment.

Adjacent to Hefang Street and West Lake Nanshan Road, the square has many entertainment facilities that children will love and is also suitable for flying kites in spring.

It is very close to Qinghefang Ancient Culture Street and is basically a reconstructed antique building.

The small square in the city center doesn't seem to be a tourist attraction. It's very close to Hefang Street.

If you like square dancing, you can come and try it. Just kidding, I was just passing by.

At the end of Hefang Street is Wushan Square, where you can see Wushan Tianfeng.

Hangzhou Wushan Square, completed in September 1999, covers 80,000 square meters. Its southern edge intersects with the foot of Wushan Mountain, a mountain located southeast of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The mountain's rolling slopes extend into the city, with the Qiantang River on the left and West Lake on the right overlooking it. It is a famous scenic spot in Hangzhou. Wushan Square is divided into several distinct zones based on appearance and function: the main square, a green area, a sunken area, and a public welfare area. Large gatherings and performances are often held in the square, and a large underground parking garage is located.

In the evening, I walked from Hefang Street to West Lake. When I passed by here, I looked up and saw the City God Tower. It was very beautiful, but it was a pity that I didn’t go up.

The beautiful Wushan Mountain offers a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery.

A free fitness and entertainment plaza. If you want to go to the City God Pavilion, you need to buy a ticket.

I just took a quick stroll here. It was quite a coincidence that I saw many people wearing Hanfu gathered there.

It is suspected of imitating Lijiang Lion Mountain and the ancient city. If you want to go shopping, you can go there.

The terminus of several bus lines, one goes to the Southern Song Imperial Street and the other to Wushan.

It's just a square! Nothing special! And it's also the bus pick-up and drop-off point!

I have been there many times, but the most unforgettable one is Hefang Food Street.

The mountain is gentle and the elderly can also go there to play! There is a pigeon shed on the road with many pigeons. You can buy corn in the shop to feed them. It's quite spooky!

It's so lively~ Unfortunately, it's foggy these days and I can't see the City God Pavilion much.

At the end of Qinghefang you will reach Wushan Square, which is just average.

It's a very ordinary square, which houses the Currency and Grain Stamp Finance and Taxation Memorial Hall. It's free to enter and is connected to Hefang Street.
Wushan Square, the heartbeat of Hangzhou, is a dazzling place where history and modernity blend together. From its vantage point, you'll enjoy sweeping views of West Lake and the majestic City God Tower. At night, neon lights flicker, the aroma of snacks fills the air, and the vibrant energy of the crowds throngs the area. This cultural feast and leisure haven is well worth a visit.
