Rather than being a tourist attraction, it is now more like a store. In addition to displaying a small part of the wedding scenes at that time, most of it is similar to renting clothes for taking photos.

For a single person like me, it's like 10086 points of critical damage.

Xiqing Hall is similar to showing a wedding scene, located in Wuzhen Scenic Area, you can see

By Fang Fangzi |

As soon as we entered the house, we were greeted by a festive atmosphere, a vast expanse of red. The bridal chamber, which I'd seen at my grandmother's house before, was used for washing. There was also a luxurious sedan chair with a phoenix crown and cabinet.

By Silent Valley Facing the Wind |

After getting off the Andufang Wharf, not far to the south is Xiqingtang, which is filled with a prosperous atmosphere inside and out.

By Heart is far away |

It's a portrait of married life in ancient Jiangnan. Just looking at it makes you feel good.

By Ms. Q |

One of my personal favorites, this attraction embodies the sacredness of marriage and the yearning for solemn ceremony. Here, you can try wearing a cheongsam for wedding photos and experience the ancient wedding ceremony. It costs a bit of money, around 30-90 yuan, but it's quite interesting. The bright red color throughout the house exudes the joy and solemnity of a wedding.

Although traditional Chinese weddings involved many elaborate formalities, their unique sense of ritual and solemnity was still quite captivating. After undergoing such a ceremony, a woman would dedicate her life to her husband and children, dedicating her life to her husband's family. It's strangely moving. Of course, we now have more choices and freedom.

A series of wedding customs from the old days are still on display. Interested friends can also choose their favorite Xiuhe wedding dress, put on the phoenix crown and bridal robe, and then ask the professional photographers in the scenic area to take photos as a souvenir.

By Mars User |

I once dreamed of coming here with ZL and taking photos in the wedding dresses here, but it didn't come true in the end. However, couples can really go there to choose a set and take photos, it's really beautiful

By Wuzhen Station |

It is mainly used to display old-time wedding supplies and related customs. Guests can also experience traditional wedding ceremonies in the museum.

Very Chinese style festive supplies can be found here

There are wedding dresses from various dynasties that can be rented for photography or selfies. The prices are very attractive. During the day, there are also Hanfu for rent. If you want to take selfies, the fee is based on the time. You can create as many styles as you want. I think it is very cost-effective. If I go there during the day, I will definitely get a Hanfu~

By Mr. Zhang |

We also walked into Xiqingtang by chance, and then we couldn't help ourselves. Seeing so many ancient bridal outfits, it was really exciting. How is the price? It's been a while. I went there in September. It seemed to be 60 per person, 1 hour of photo shooting time. You can shoot by yourself. There are other packages, and professional photographers will help you shoot. You can also get makeup included, but there are too many people and the staff are too busy. They can only put a hair flower on you and then go to take pictures.

By Ji Qiqi |

There are also clothes for taking photos, and the service attitude is great

You can try out all kinds of wedding dresses there for 30 yuan per time. I happened to see two girls taking photos, they looked very good, but the use of a mobile phone in the photo made it a little awkward. The wedding room, wedding hall, and wedding supplies on the second floor are all available, reflecting the complexity and solemnity of the weddings of wealthy families in ancient times.

There is a traditional wedding hall in Wuzhen. As soon as you walk in, you can instantly feel the ancient wedding atmosphere. You can also participate in the experience yourself. That is, wear festive wedding dresses with your beloved partner and have an ancient wedding. However, this is charged separately. But if you like, you can also experience it. After all, it can leave beautiful memories for the future.

There are many wedding dresses in Xiqing Hall, which are specially used for taking photos. The price is quite high and is charged by the hour. I personally don’t think it is necessary, but if you want to experience the feeling of an ancient wedding, you can feel it yourself. However, the venue is so small and consumption is risky. You need to be cautious when spending money. After walking around the entire Xiqing Hall, I was only in a trance when I saw these two wedding hats. I also hope that one day in the future, someone will put on a phoenix crown and a robe for me, without having to step on seven-colored clouds. I just want to have one person’s heart and stay with me until we are old.

By windl |

There are some traditional wedding items on display inside, you can go and have a look.

By Thanks |

This is Wuzhen's traditional wedding hall, beautifully appointed and richly decorated. You can even participate in the experience and create beautiful memories. My companion had an inexplicable fear of these ancient-house wedding banquets. She said they were eerie and spooky, like a ghost marriage... It reminded me of the movie "A Pair of Embroidered Shoes." I wouldn't dare go in alone, fearing it might be haunted.

Overall: Quite recommended

Views: Recommended for 1. It's unique and fits the atmosphere. 2. It's a great way to learn about weddings. 3. They offer Chinese-style wedding dresses, for a fee, apparently around 30 yuan per session. I didn't get a close look, but it's definitely worth trying if you're interested. The rest of the wedding supplies are similar to those at the Zhejiang Provincial Museum.

It has a small storefront, but inside you will find a whole new world. In addition to the phoenix crowns, sedan chairs, etc. that you can imagine, there is also a collection of marriage certificates, divorce certificates, remarriage certificates, etc. from the Republic of China period, which are of great historical value.

The Wedding Customs Exhibition Hall can host water village weddings. I didn’t ask about the price, but it will definitely be more expensive. You might as well go and experience it.

By Schrödinger's Cat |

I visit Wuzhen every year for a relaxing break, and I've been there no fewer than five times. I've stayed at waterfront guesthouses twice, but the overall value wasn't great. The rest of the time, I've stayed at Zhaoming Shushe, a very affordable hotel that usually requires booking a month in advance. It's a quiet and elegant retreat nestled in the city. The Shusheng mutton stall in the alleyway is absolutely amazing—a must-try in autumn and winter. I've visited all of Wuzhen's attractions more than a dozen times, most recently with my 50D and 1740 lens. Feel free to ask me any questions.
