Xixi Wetland Park

The first time I went to Xixi Wetland was in 2014. Then at the end of June 2018, it was my second time to go to Xixi Wetland. Both times were in June and July, but the feelings were different because it is really big. These pictures are the pictures of my second visit to Xixi. There are many flowers. I can't name the other flowers except the lotus. It will be really nice to take pictures in this lotus pond, but I brought a teammate who is not very good at taking pictures. If you work in Hangzhou, it is recommended to apply for a park annual card. It seems to be 40 yuan or 20 yuan a year? Then it only costs 10 yuan to go to Xixi Wetland. Then it costs 80 yuan if there is no park annual card. The scenery is different throughout the year. If you have not left Hangzhou, you should come here often to relax. After a day's experience, the feeling is---my feet hurt. I basically walked, but there are also boat tours inside.

For me, wetlands are where land and water meet. So I never thought that wetlands would be a scenic spot, but rather a good place for citizens to take a leisurely walk at night or on weekends. Domestic wetland scenic spots are usually not well built. Xixi is a unique place.

There are two ways to play in Xixi: boat tour and walking. I didn't go on the boat tour, so I will only talk about the feeling of walking. The reason why Xixi stands out from the general wetlands is mainly because it uses many cultural landscapes. Xixi is full of small bridges, willow trees, bamboo forests, and fruit trees in all seasons. In a large area of ​​wetland planning area, there are many quaint houses and courtyards scattered around. Walking in Xixi Wetland, I deeply feel that this is more like a real ancient town, an enlarged ancient town. Because it really looks like the villages and mazes in the Legend of Sword and Fairy game! The scattered land itself is connected by small bridges, and if you are not careful, you will walk from the fork in the road to a dead end. It is strongly recommended that the production team of Legend of Sword and Fairy 7 come here to shoot!

Xixi in early June is basically green, and the scenery is similar everywhere. (Because there are many plum blossoms, it should be very beautiful in winter) It is more suitable for people who just want to relax and unwind. And it is best to visit on a rainy afternoon on a weekday like we did. It's like a stand-alone game, with only us and the NPCs contracted to the village.

Finally, let me talk about some precautions: First of all, Xixi Scenic Area is very large, and the Fu Dike in the middle is open to the public for free, so you have to exit the scenic area on both sides of the Fu Dike and then enter the scenic area. Then after closing at 6:30 pm, although you can only enter but not exit, in fact, several exits are closed. So if you want to leave after 6:30 pm, it is best to park your car in Zhoujia Village, not at the East Gate.

Xixi is a good wetland, and some of the scenic spots there are very good, especially Gaozhuang, which is a small garden that is not inferior to Suzhou gardens. The fee is reasonable, after all, wetlands need protection. However, I feel that it is a bit exaggerated to be rated as an AAAAA scenic spot, and with the "If You Are the One" show, many people will be fooled to come and see the scenery.

The scenic spots in Xixi are very user-friendly. There are smoking areas and rest areas along the way. They are wooden, sunshade, ventilated and cool, simple and lovely. Xixi has several entrances. I entered from the entrance of Fudiwen 2nd Road and strolled slowly. The first one I entered was Hezhu Street. There are many teahouses and restaurants on the street. You can drink tea and taste tea, and you can also see local specialties such as Xixi rice wine, Gudangpan persimmon, and bamboo shoots. I didn’t feel hot in the morning. The green shade even felt cool. Occasionally, citizens jogging with headphones passed by me. What surprised me was that there is the Xixi Guishan Kiln Porcelain Art Research Institute here, and when I arrived, I encountered the Guo Linshan and Ji Xigui Ceramic Art Exhibition. Although the exhibition hall is small, it is full of fun.

If you are mainly interested in the wetland scenery, the recommended route is: enter from the Xixi Paradise entrance - Wetland Museum - Gaozhuang - Fudi - Wetland Botanical Garden - Underwater Sightseeing Corridor - Jiangcun - Shentankou Wharf - Battery boat water tour (you can go ashore for sightseeing and then take a boat depending on the situation) - Zhoujia Village Wharf - Zhoujia Village entrance to exit the scenic area

For this route, I bought tickets on site (Xixi Paradise Visitor Center). Online ticket purchases say that you need to enter from the Zhoujia Village entrance, which is 25 yuan cheaper. However, I personally feel that if you don’t have enough time to visit, you will miss many ecological attractions. You can decide for yourself...

Probably because of the season, when I went to Xixi Wetland, I could count the number of tourists with two hands. I planned to take a rowing boat, but I didn't get one in the end. The ticket office inside didn't seem to be working. I saw some comments before saying that the park is relatively large and it would be less tiring to take a boat. In the end, we walked to the exit on our own. The evaluation of the scenery is average, which should also be due to the season. It is not the blooming season of plum blossoms yet. Many sculptures in the park are used for wedding photos, but the design is awkward and not very good-looking. In general, judging by the weather at that time, the 70 yuan ticket is too cost-effective. I hope the scenery will be better if I have the opportunity to go in spring and summer in the future.

This attraction is really not as good as others say. If you have been to other wetlands, you don't have to go there specifically. The whole attraction is actually quite large. The part I went to was just the filming location of If You Are the One. I bought the electric boat ticket online, so I didn't take the rowing boat, but I think the view is better and more artistic. I suggest you take this one. It costs 100 yuan for an hour. For the electric boat, you can get on and off at 4 points, and you can only get on once, which means that once you have been to this point, you can't come back. I personally think it is enough to go to the first two points. There is no need to go to the last two. It is not good to see and it is a waste of time. Just take the boat back.

I didn't plan to come to Xixi, but my schedule changed, so I came here to play. In a word: it was worth the trip. Sitting on the electric boat, enjoying the scenery along the coast, the moist breeze blowing, it was very freehand! Going ashore, walking on the forest trail, feeling the birdsong and the fragrance of flowers, all the troubles disappeared. It happened to be the Flower Festival, what a surprise! The green embankment was full of various flowers. It was so beautiful! Ahhhh! I can't express my feelings here in words! Finally, I took a 2 yuan bus back to the city. I saved dozens of yuan in taxi fares, so happy! So happy!

After breakfast, it's time to go. Everyone got on the bus and set off. There was no conversation along the way. It took about 40 minutes to arrive at the Longshezui entrance and exit of Xixi Wetland, which is the entrance and exit of Xixi Impression City. There were not many people, or rather very few, because the weather was not very good today, right? It was drizzling all the time, and the temperature dropped sharply. There was a group of Peppa Pigs at the door, and they were having fun with the children. After buying the tickets, we got on the battery boat and began to enter Xixi Wetland. We first took the water route, and there was a guide on the boat. In fact, Xixi Wetland should also be regarded as an artificially excavated landscape, which has become famous since the If You Are the One show. The scenery on both sides of the river is idyllic and very wild.

When we arrived at Xixi Wetland Park, compared with other areas, the eastern area of ​​Hangzhou Xixi Wetland is dominated by natural landscapes. The representative landscapes of Xixi Wetland - ponds, greenery, reeds, cruise ships, bluestone roads, etc., can be seen and experienced here. Walking through the wetland park, you can also find your zodiac sign and knock on the gongs and drums three times, which will bring good luck. The ladies took photos for so long in the high temperature of more than 40 degrees, and they were a little exhausted, so we chose a cruise ship, blowing the hot summer breeze, listening to the introduction of the tour guide on the boat, which was another kind of comfort. I also set foot on the place where Running Man was recorded!

Xixi Wetland, famous for its “a winding stream and a wisp of smoke”, was once known as the “Three Wests of Hangzhou” together with West Lake and Xiling.

Xixi National Wetland Park is located in the west of the city. It has a quiet environment and crisscrossing waterways. It is one of the few natural wetlands in the city and is known as the "Kidney of Hangzhou".

Xixi Wetland is divided into the East District and the West District. The East District includes Phase I and Phase II, and the West District is the Phase III Hongyuan Scenic Area.

The East District is where the essence of the natural scenery of Xixi Wetland lies. Taking a boat through the intricate waterways is the best way to experience the natural ecology.

Enter from the north gate, and there is no entrance fee to the gate. Drive along the Fudi and go straight to the Shentankou scenic spot. According to Lao Liu, who was traveling with me, taking a boat to visit Xixi Wetland is the most charming. But when we finally arrived at the ticket office of Shentankou scenic spot, the staff had gone off work, and we could only take a boat tomorrow. Along the way, there are hotels, manors, parking lots, art galleries, restaurants, confinement clubs, etc. on both sides of the Fudi, and they all feel quite private, and the most are waterside pavilions! The first large-scale scenic spot is Hezhu Street. There can still be such a large-scale commercial opening in the National Wetland Park. It seems that environmental protection is really done at home, otherwise I really dare not! The rowing boat is a feature of the park. It can seat up to six people. Of course, the price is also not cheap. It is said that 1350 per time. The distance and route planning of the ride are unknown because I didn’t take it. The plants on both sides of the trail are very good, but as a northerner, I really don’t know them!

Xixi Wetland seems so big on the map, but I only visited a section as big as a fingernail.



There is very little to visit without entering the scenic area, and the ticket is very expensive, 80. My friend and I thought about it and let it go.



I walked along the road to a farm. There were no tourists here, but there were large fields of golden rapeseed flowers in full bloom, as tall as a person's head, and the fragrance was overflowing. I was instantly back to my childhood hometown. The familiar smell made me excited and I took a lot of photos.



There are many old farmers working hard in the fields, and old 28-inch bicycles and various motorcycles are parked on the roadside.



But this place is not easy to find

The park ticket price is 80 ¥/person. We entered the park from the north gate and walked about 2 km to the pier. The water system in the park is very convenient and well connected. You can reach most places in the scenic area by boat, but you have to buy a separate ticket. We boarded the boat at Shentankou and got off here in the end. The white flowers at the entrance are very beautiful. I don’t know what kind they are. GF vividly named them "pagoda flowers". After hearing this, I really wanted to pick them. The scenic area is very clean, there are not many tourists, and the weather is neither cold nor hot. It’s perfect.

Since you have to buy tickets online several hours in advance, you can only buy tickets on site, and there is no discount. It was already past 3 o'clock when we entered Xixi Wetland Park. There were not many tourists, and many boatmen were about to get off work. We calculated that there was only enough time for a short boat ride. In order to experience Xixi, I decided to splurge and spend 100 yuan an hour to relax.

Sit on the boat and have a cup of tea. It is quiet all around, with only the sound of paddling and the bright and beautiful scenery around. The dock is full of rowing boats. The rowing guy said that when there are many people, you have to queue up to take the boat. After getting off the boat, continue to linger in the flowers. The plum blossoms are almost gone, but the peach and cherry blossoms are still in full bloom.

Transportation is very convenient now. You can go to various scenic spots by subway and bus. Since it is not a holiday, there are few tourists. The wetland park is quite large. If you are physically fit, you can choose to walk or take a boat. However, you may not be able to see some scenic spots by boat. Xixi Wetland is the filming location of "If You Are the One 1".

I went there during the Spring Festival holiday. It was raining. I don't know if it was because of the rain, but there were very few people. It was very large and quiet. I saw egrets and squirrels. Maybe it was because it was winter. The scenery was not outstanding and the weather was not good. Overall, it was not as good as expected, nor as good as the legend said. I took a hand-cranked boat and swung around. It was said to be an experience tour. I didn't go deep into the center of the wetland. The boatman was a local. He said that it should be more suitable to visit in April and May, and September and October should be more beautiful. However, each season should have its own charm.

The ticket + boat ticket was booked online the day before, 120 yuan (80 yuan for the ticket and 60 yuan for the boat ticket on site). After booking the ticket online, people can enter the scenic area from any entrance, but if you take a battery boat in the scenic area, you need to go to the corresponding boarding place stated on the order. For example, the battery boat I booked for Zhoujia Village can only board the boat at the pier at the entrance of Zhoujia Village. After placing an order online, you don’t need to pick up the ticket on site. You can enter the scenic area and take the battery boat directly by swiping your ID card, which is quite convenient. It costs 15 yuan to park in the scenic area for a morning (I didn’t look at the price list, but I think the parking fee is 5 yuan per hour). The entrance to Zhoujia Village Scenic Area should be the main entrance to the Xixi Wetland Scenic Area. As the year draws to a close, the festive atmosphere of the zodiac elements is getting stronger everywhere; the Xixi Plum Blossom Festival is also being held in the scenic area, and the plum blossoms here just bloomed in early February. The entire wetland park covers a large area, and most tourists only visit part of it. There are also people who walk around Xixi, but firstly, you need to have good leg strength because the scenic area is large and the walking distance is long; secondly, many of the scenery is more artistic when viewed from a boat on the water, so it is recommended to take a battery boat tour.

Today, the weather is very good. We chose to take a boat tour. Although we can choose to walk, the beautiful scenery is in the river. It is necessary to take a boat tour after entering the park. There are four areas in the tour route. You can take a rowing boat from the first area to the second area slowly, and then go ashore to visit the homestay and exhibition hall. It is enough to play in each area for 20 to 30 minutes. If time is in a hurry, you can also take a large electric boat for 60 yuan per person. The speed will be faster than the rowing boat, and you can play all the attractions faster. The experience is also very good. Here I would like to remind everyone that Xixi Wetland Park is actually divided into two large scenic spots. Although the tickets for these two large scenic spots are joint tickets, the ship and river are not connected. Therefore, it is recommended to play in the main scenic spot (Zhoujia Village Scenic Area Entrance) for boat tours. The recommendation index is five stars, especially when the weather is fine. After getting off the boat, you can stroll around at will. Although the park is very clean, the stairs and road design make it a little inconvenient to push a stroller.

Xixi Wetland is one of the top 2 must-see attractions in Hangzhou, which makes me very curious. But it turns out that I can't appreciate Xixi Wetland in autumn.

It is said that the most beautiful scenery lies in the river, but I felt drowsy looking at the endless (already a little withered) reeds.

But the air is very fresh, suitable for the whole family to take a walk, rent a rowboat, sway in the reeds, and enjoy a leisurely slow life.

The beauty of Xixi is the real tranquility with distinct four seasons. You can only experience Xixi by rowing a boat. If Xixi is the kidney of Hangzhou, then the reed marsh near Qiuxue Temple is the kidney of Xixi. The beauty of Xixi needs to be calmed down to see and feel. It is different from the great beauty of West Lake. The beauty of Xixi is beautiful. Xixi is painting with four seasons. In spring, flowers are in full bloom. In summer, green shades are rising. In autumn, reed flowers are like snow. In winter, plum blossoms are slanting.

Xixi National Wetland Park is 6 kilometers away from the center of Hangzhou and 5 kilometers away from West Lake. The tour takes half a day to a whole day. You can choose to take a battery boat to tour the classic A route, starting from Zhoujia Village, passing Yanshui Fishing Village, Shentankou, Jiaolutian Village, and finally returning to Zhoujia Village. You can also choose to take a rowing boat to experience a slow life and shuttle through the reed marshes to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Xixi Wetland Park is worth spending more time to have a good look. The entire park is very large, and two-thirds of it is a paid area that requires tickets to enter. There are two sightseeing battery boat routes in the paid area, each with several docks. Visitors can take a boat trip like taking a bus, but it can only be taken one way, and different routes require separate tickets.

During the holidays, I took my baby to visit Hangzhou. Although I have been to Hangzhou twice before, I have never checked in to Xixi Wetland Park. This time, I finally got my wish.

Buying tickets and boat tickets in advance from Dazhong costs 120 yuan per person, which is 20 yuan cheaper than buying them on site. You must buy them online at least 2 hours in advance to use them.

There are three types of transportation to choose from in Xixi Wetland, one is a battery boat (which we chose), one is a rowing boat, and the other is a battery car. I personally think that the battery car is unnecessary, after all, the purpose of coming to Xixi Wetland is to see the water.

Battery boats and rowing boats have their own advantages and disadvantages. Battery boats are fast, take the main channel, stop at 4 stations throughout the journey, and go clockwise at the four docks. After buying a boat ticket, you can get on each dock once. Rowing boats are slow, really slow, much slower than walking, take the small channel, and have views such as reed marshes that cannot be seen on the main channel. Battery boats cost 60 per person, and rowing boats cost 100 per hour. A boat can accommodate up to 6 people. If there are many people, you can consider rowing boats. Battery boats are suitable for fewer people. You can also go ashore to take pictures when you row the rowing boat to the dock, and the time of going ashore is also counted in the charter time.

There are some areas in Xixi Wetland that do not require tickets, such as Hezhu Street. Those who have purchased tickets can enter and exit areas that require tickets and do not require tickets at will, and just swipe your ID card to enter again.

Xixi Wetland is very large, with several entrances. We entered from the south gate. We could take a battery boat and a rowing boat. I don't know if it was because it was the weekend, but there were a lot of people queuing up. It took half an hour to buy a boat ticket. But there is no point in visiting this attraction without taking a boat.

Xixi Park is very large. We spent almost a whole day walking around and taking pictures. It is really beautiful, with few people and very natural and peaceful. We also met the frog son~

The entire Xixi Wetland Park has three phases, from left to right, they are Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3. Phase 1 is free, and the Sheraton Hotel and Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi are both located in Phase 1. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to stay in the first one this time, and I didn't plan to dine in the second one, so I didn't go. The entrances to Phase 1 are on both the north and south sides. You can drive in, but it's hard to park, so it's recommended to park outside and walk around. Phases 2 and 3 require payment, and the only entrance is at the Zhoujia Village entrance on Tianmu Lake Road. The ticket is 60 per person, and there is a discount if you book online one day in advance.

It covers a total area of ​​about 11.5 square kilometers and is divided into the eastern wetland ecological protection and cultivation area, the central wetland ecological tourism and leisure area and the western wetland ecological landscape enclosure area. It is a national wetland park integrating urban wetlands, agricultural wetlands and cultural wetlands. There are "three embankments and ten scenes", the three embankments are Fu Dike, Green Dike and Shou Dike, and the ten scenes are Autumn Reeds Flying in the Snow, Fire Persimmons Reflecting in the Waves, Dragon Boat Festival, Lotus Beach with Egrets, Hongyuan Afterglow, Reeds Floating in the Moon, Misty Rain in the Fishing Village, Looking for Plum Blossoms in the Winding Water, Morning Traces in Gaozhuang and Listening to Music on the River Islet.

The water area accounts for 70% of the area, with waterways like alleys and rivers like a network, in between there are villages, temples, and manors, integrating natural and cultural landscapes into one.

I arrived here in the afternoon when the park was about to close. Fortunately, I caught the last boat. There are also advantages to visiting at this time. There are almost no tourists in the huge park, as if it was reserved. Sitting in the boat and looking at the water outside, the sun was setting, and the light and shadow effects reached a level that could not be achieved during the day. It was a rare scene.

It's really not worth the ticket. I don't know how the AAAAA scenic spot was rated. Don't go there. There is no place to take pictures.

I went to Xixi Wetland in August. It was cool and had typical Jiangnan characteristics.

I came to Xixi Wetland Park by accident. I wandered around and found that the park is quite large. There are electric cars for sightseeing. We entered from Impression City, which is Hongyuan. There are hotels and many ponds. The trees around are very messy. It costs 80 yuan to take a taxi from here to Hangzhou East Station. It is quite far.

Although this lung of Hangzhou is newly developed, it is indeed worthy of its name and is worth a visit. It is not as famous as West Lake, but the scenery is different. It was first advertised in Ge Guangtou's movie "If You Are the One".

The electric boats nowadays are different from those when I came here before. At that time, you would just sit on the boat to the end and get off at Shentankou. Now there are four docks and you can get on and off the boat once at each dock. It is indeed much more abundant. However, we actually only got off once at Shentankou because this is the most essential place.

As the boat started moving, the typical wetland scenery appeared before our eyes like a slowly unfolding scroll.

It is not so open, not so transparent, and the winding waterways often lead to new prospects. Suddenly, a small bridge connects the land that does not look like an island. Wild grass and trees grow wildly. Apart from the sound of water, there are occasionally one or two bird calls. The cool breeze of early autumn blows away the dryness brought by the sultry summer. Water birds in the water and by the water are foraging or playing as if nothing is happening. Occasionally, a dark black roof or a light yellow thatched house emerges from the green bushes. I can't help but sigh that those people really know how to find a place.

All the original residents here have been relocated, and the remaining old houses, docks and bridges have not been demolished, in order to maintain this original ecological existence and tell tourists about the feeling of a water town. Although this is also a commercial development, it makes people feel very comfortable, right?

It was already past four o'clock, and the number of people in the scenic area was slowly decreasing. So I found that going to the scenic area in the afternoon was still beneficial. There would be fewer people if you play a little later. Although the light was also much less, Dad Yi secretly thanked God that the camera he used had a relatively good tolerance.

Xixi Wetland is a large wetland, and the area where charges are actually collected is only a part of it.

If you have plenty of time, you can visit all the scenic spots on foot, but we can only take a boat tour.

The main entrance is actually the Gaozhuang entrance, not the "Xixi Paradise" visitor center. You can of course walk to Gaozhuang from the "Xixi Paradise" side. We chose to take an electric car for five yuan per person to reach Gaozhuang.

I would like to remind you that you can only go up and down a pier once, and you should not go back. I suggest you visit each pier if you have enough time and energy. I only found out after I arrived that this is the filming location of If You Are the One. No matter how you play, the scenery is really beautiful.

A large wetland park where you can walk for a whole day. It is very large, with beautiful scenery and some ancient buildings. It is good to enjoy the phytoncides. However, there are not many chairs and places to rest.

Xixi Wetland is worth visiting, but I think the scenery in midsummer is the most ordinary, so I recommend coming in spring, autumn or winter. Oh, by the way... In summer, not only is the scenery unremarkable, but the water in the wetland is all "boiling water" and it's so hot that it's killing me!

The streams and lakes here are semi-artificial. The environment is good and comfortable, and it is worth a visit. The Longjing tea in the scenic area is not very expensive.

I went there in August 2014. It was a large wetland park, but I was deeply impressed by the boat driver who played music with leaves while driving the boat. The scenery was still the best at the filming location of If You Are the One.

The sign for the Flower Festival is still hanging, but the green of the wetland has actually faded in the rain. After the light rain, the lotus leaves turn over, a little deep red, and dense green. Because I love eating pomegranates, I am naturally familiar with the season of pomegranate flowers. When the spring flowers are in full bloom, the pomegranate branches are graceful, and the pomegranate flowers smile in the shadows of the weeping willows. From the beginning of May to the end of June, less than two months, it is early summer, with flowers blooming on the paths, golden lotus ponds, pheasants beside the bamboo shoots, and flocks of water birds. It must be a childhood full of joy in all seasons.

Xixi Wetland Park covers a relatively large area, and the recommended visit time is one day.

Different from the crowded West Lake, Xixi offers a peaceful and slow-paced holiday.

The beauty of Xixi lies in the water. The beautiful scenery is all in the river, and boat travel is a must. I entered the scenic area from the entrance of Fudiwen 2nd Road in Xixi Wetland. First, pass Hezhu Street and take the electric boat on Shentankou Wharf (ticket is 60 yuan/person); generally, you can take a boat tour from the entrance of Zhoujiakou Scenic Area; the dock where you get on the boat is the dock where you get off the boat on the return trip. After getting on the boat, I felt much cooler. Occasionally, there was a breeze, and the irritability calmed down, and I felt leisurely. Xixi is a big green maze: small bridges, green trees, bamboo forests, paths, quaint houses and courtyards, and land scattered in the scenic area (connected by small bridges). For me, who is directionally blind, I can't tell the east, south, west, and north. If I'm not careful, I will go back to the original road from the fork in the road or walk to a dead end; I have no concept of wetlands. It's my first time to visit wetlands. Maybe only wetlands have such rich waters.

You can take a boat trip inside and float in the reeds.

People often say: There is heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below. When people mention Hangzhou, the first thing that comes to mind is the West Lake, where there are painted boats, music and elegant gatherings of scholars.

But many people don’t know that Hangzhou is known as the “Three Wests”, namely “West Lake, Xiling and Xixi”.

According to legend, when Emperor Gaozong of Song fled to Hangzhou, he was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery of Xixi, where "a stream flows and a stream of smoke appears", and wanted to build an imperial city here. Later, he found Fenghuang Mountain and said, "Xixi will stay."

Xixi has been "staying" for more than a thousand years, and the place name of Xixi has been changed to "Liuxia". For thousands of years, Xixi people have lived and multiplied here from generation to generation, farming and fishing, and leading a peaceful life with enough food and clothing.

Xixi Wetland, famous for its “a winding stream and a wisp of smoke”, was once known as the “Three Wests of Hangzhou” together with West Lake and Xiling.

Xixi National Wetland Park is located in the west of the city. It has a quiet environment and crisscrossing waterways. It is one of the few natural wetlands in the city and is known as the "Kidney of Hangzhou".

Xixi Wetland is located in the west of Hangzhou, less than 5 km away from West Lake. It is just two stops west from Tianmu Mountain Road on foot from Laodongyue. Xixi Scenic Area used to be the second largest scenic area in Hangzhou after West Lake Scenic Area. It is said that "Xixi has been a place where noble men have been hidden since ancient times". Literati and scholars often come here to live in seclusion. It was once called "Three Wests of Hangzhou" together with West Lake and Xiling.

It's really big, the ecological environment is very good, and there are not many people. Maybe it's because the park is relatively large.

It was winter when I went there. There were a lot of people during the Spring Festival, but it was still a good feeling for my first visit to an ancient town. Now it is not so strong, after all, there are too many ancient towns now.

The sunset is reflected in the water! Beautiful and unique

I entered at 7:30 in the morning, the sun had just risen, the breeze was blowing, the air was fresh, and there were a few pedestrians along the way. It was cool and quiet, a good time for a stroll. I thought it had been a long time since I had such a relaxing stroll in the morning, so I was naturally in a very good mood. As I walked, I came into a house called Gao Family Courtyard, which was Gao Shiqi's residence. The door of the yard was closed, so I couldn't go in to explore. The red leaves next to it aroused my interest. They matched the white walls and were particularly vivid and interesting.

It is famous for its water. You can take a boat tour to enjoy the scenery on both sides. The scenic area is large, which can save a lot of energy. Watching the two sides slowly appear and disappear, the ever-changing scenery is comfortable and fun. The occasional appearance of birds adds vitality to this picture. Boating on the water, birds flying and stopping, is the best enjoyment.

It is a very worthwhile attraction to visit, preferably in spring and autumn.

Xixi Wetland is so large, with so many entrances, that we couldn’t tell them apart at first.

The East District is closer to the West Lake, which is the city center, and has a stronger commercial atmosphere and more tourists. The West District has relatively fewer tourists and is more quiet. The East District and the West District are not connected, so when buying tickets, you should pay attention to whether the ticket you buy is a common ticket or a separate ticket.

We entered from the Wujiawan entrance and entered the West District. We entered the park at around 9 o'clock in the morning. There were indeed not many visitors. We heard the sound of opera not far from the entrance. When we got closer, we felt it was quite nice.

The West District of Xixi Wetland is much more interesting than Xitang and Wuzhen, so it is better to go to the West District for a rowing boat ride. The scenery in the West District is more beautiful than Venice.

The tickets must be kept well. You can enter and exit the scenic area as many times as you want on the same day, but you cannot enter the same entrance twice. There are not many people in the East District, so you can have fun as you like. My husband said how nice it would be to run here every day, and it would be great to come here to cleanse the lungs on weekends. It is also great for Hangzhou people to drive here to take their kids out.

We entered the park at about 9:30, finished the tour at 1:15 and started looking for food. The tour lasted nearly 4 hours, including 1 hour on the boat and 3 hours on foot (took 2 sections of electric cars). It was really tiring. Looking at the map, we really didn't walk very far. I feel that Xixi Wetland is suitable for visiting every time I come to Hangzhou. I can visit it all after 5 or 6 visits o(╯□╰)o
