Compared with the popularity of Lingyin Temple, the number of tourists here is pitifully small.

From the entrance, you will feel the secluded bamboo forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. You can escape from reality for a short time here. Yunxi Bamboo Trail is a "blessed land" that I unexpectedly gained during this trip. Yunxi Bamboo Trail is not big. It is a park-like scenic spot. After walking around in it, I feel that the ticket price is a bit more value for money than the place I went to in the morning. Yunxi Bamboo Trail has an entrance for hiking. The shortest point is Wuyun Mountain, which takes 40 minutes one way. If you need the specific route, you can search "Wanlin Back Mountain Tour Map" directly on the Internet. I only found out later that walking along Wanlin Back Mountain, you can go to the so-called "Ten Li Langyao, which is a famous scenic spot. Moreover, Yunxi Bamboo Trail is also connected to Meijiawu, Xiaoyawu, and Shangtianzhu. There are all kinds of homestays and farmhouses in this area, as well as large areas of tea mountains. It is estimated that many people will choose to come here for vacation on weekends.

In short, Yunxi Bamboo Trail is a place suitable for hiking and leisure. If you want to find a place with few people, convenient transportation and close to nature, Yunxi Bamboo Trail will be a good choice.

The starting point of the Yunqi Bamboo Trail is the Sanju Pavilion. Behind the pavilion is a bamboo trail with tall and straight green bamboos. The trail is cool and quiet, which is in sharp contrast to the scorching sun outside, as if entering another world. Walk about 200 meters forward to the Yunqi Scenic Area Ticket Office, where the ticket is only 8 yuan. Walk on the bamboo-shaded road again to the Xixin Pavilion. There is a pool to the east of the pavilion. A stream of water flows into the pool from under the mountain bridge. The ding-dong sound adds a little dynamism to the bamboo forest. Looking at the hillsides on both sides, there are even more dense bamboo forests, guarding and protecting the coolness in this hot summer.

I saw a rumor before that this was the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Later I checked and found out that it was in Anji. It doesn't matter whether it is or not, it is still pretty. The bamboo forests on both sides of the path are either tall or bent, each with its own charm. Although it is called "Bamboo Path", the real thing here is not the bamboos, but the big trees on the roadside that cannot be hugged by one person. Many of them are more than 1,000 years old.

Tickets for Yunqi Bamboo Path can be booked through the "Hangzhou Tourism Reservation" public account, and the ticket price is 8 yuan.

There is a direct bus from Faxi Temple to here. You can see this lonely tree when you get off the bus. Opposite it is the Yunqi Bamboo Path Scenic Area.

There are many more mosquitoes than people at this tourist attraction. There are so many that people can't stop to watch because if they do, they will be covered in mosquitoes.

Our first stop was not the West Lake, but we took a bus to Yunqi Bamboo Path, 15 kilometers away.

Yunqi Bamboo Trail is located at the southern foot of Wuyun Mountain. It is one of the ten new West Lake scenic spots. It has the most beautiful bamboo sea here and is also the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. We set out from the hotel and passed through Lingyin Scenic Area. The scenery on the way to Yunqi was very good, especially when passing through Meijiawu area. The tea gardens on the mountain were neatly trimmed. Sitting in the car, large tracts of green quickly passed by, which looked very magnificent.



This place is very suitable for traveling in midsummer. Although it is still hot, at least the temperature on the mountain is lower than that in Hangzhou city. Being in the layers of bamboo forest, it is like a natural oxygen bar. Looking at the lush green and listening to the gurgling water, it seems that there is a kind of calm and detached power covering the whole body, and people suddenly feel less hot. The archway is hidden among the bamboo forest, like the entrance to the fairyland. The bamboo that covers the sky and the sun is like the place where the gods live~ Standing on the unmanned bamboo path, the breeze blows, and the leaves make a crisp sound. Looking around, the bamboo path is winding and twists and turns, and I don’t know where it will lead to, which is in line with the four words "bamboo path leads to secluded places" engraved on the boulder. In the evening, the sun shines through the layers of bamboo leaves, giving a quiet and sacred feeling.



As the first stop of the trip to Hangzhou, I like it very much~

I was immediately attracted by this place the first second I entered the scenic spot! I love this place, it's absolutely my cup of tea. I arrived at about 9:30 am on May 17, 2019. It had just rained, and the air was so good that it made me want to scream. There were not many people in the scenic spot, and the ticket was only 8 yuan per person. I strolled around slowly, and every frame of the scenery did not need to be retouched, full of green! I was so happy that I rolled over! I will definitely come again in the future! Definitely!

Take a bus from near Hangzhou Zoo and arrive at Yunqi Bamboo Path.

Like Yuhuang Mountain, it is not a mainstream tourist attraction, but the scenery is really nice.

Although I had a wonderful experience here, the weird experiences that followed left me speechless.

First, when you visit Douyun Pavilion and see the road to the ruins of Zhenji Temple (Temple of the God of Wealth), don’t be curious and climb the mountain to see it.

Because it was a very long stone staircase and it was quite tiring to climb, but that was not the point.

When you have exhausted all your strength and finally climbed to the end and arrived at the ruins of Zhenji Temple, you will have thoughts: "Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here?"

This ruins is too ancient... There is nothing to see at all... I must have arrived at a fake tourist attraction!

The only thing to be thankful for was that there was a water store inside. A bottle of mineral water cost 6 yuan, which saved my thirsty throat.

Second, if you come here out of curiosity like I did, you must return the same way you came. Don’t make the second mistake and choose another way down the mountain out of curiosity.

This downhill road has more slopes and fewer stone steps, but the paving stones on the slopes are bumpy and uneven, which makes it more difficult than walking on the stone steps, but this is not the point.

When you finally get down to the bottom of the mountain, you will come to a tea field. Don't enter the tea field. Walk down the stone steps and you will eventually walk out of the scenic area and come to a wide road.

You will be delighted and speechless to find that this is a holiday resort area with no buses or taxis, only private cars, and the nearest bus stop is 2 kilometers... 2 kilometers... 2 kilometers away...

With curiosity, we continued to stroll. Here you can observe the bamboos up close. Walking through the bamboo forest, I feel that the bamboos are indeed elegant and can be called gentlemen. As we walked, we found a suspension bridge. We excitedly walked up it, but it shook violently and we almost "fell off the bridge". Bamboo forests are everywhere, and "the clouds are so deep that we don't know where they are". No wonder the ancients were intoxicated by bamboo forests.

Walking on the stone road winding up the mountain, although the summer heat is toxic, it is like swimming in the green waves of the bamboo sea, and the heat will disappear.

Next to the station is the tea garden and the Internet celebrity tree, but it was closed when I went there, so I could only look at it through the fence. The Yunqi Bamboo Path Scenic Area is not big, and you can walk slowly for about 2 hours to visit it. Bamboo forests, ancient trees and various plants grow in an interlaced manner in the scenic area. It is recommended to go early in the morning to see the green trees and shade before a large number of tourists arrive. It is cool even in summer.

After putting down the luggage, I checked the route and headed for Yunqi Bamboo Trail.

But the buses in Hangzhou are really expensive. The money I spent on taking the bus for two days was more than the two-day taxi ride in Wuzhen.



Opposite the Yunqi Bamboo Path, there is indeed the Internet-famous tea garden and the Internet-famous tree. It is indeed locked, but there is no small door that can be entered as rumored on the Internet. I am crying.

When you reach the end, you will see a temple and an empty house used for exhibitions, but it seems that since there are not many tourists, it is not open.

Yunqi Bamboo Path is much shorter than I thought. I thought it would be a long way, but I soon reached the end in less than one kilometer.

The ruins of the ancient temple are still there, but I didn't go up because I was attending a company event. I asked how long it would take to climb up. The tired sister said enthusiastically, "There's nothing to see. Do you want to see? I have photos." As she spoke, she showed me the photos and said it would be dark when you climb up, and you would be wearing a skirt, so there would be a lot of mosquitoes up there. I am a person who listens to advice very well, so I decided not to go up in an instant. The sister seemed to be afraid that I would not listen to her advice, and kept telling me how much she would regret going up.

There are green bamboo forests on both sides of the stone road, with many towering trees. I felt that the trees over 200 years old were too young. I saw several sweetgum trees over 1,000 years old. I felt that the autumn here must be beautiful.

Next to the bus station, there is a large tea garden across the road. The path leads to a secluded place with fresh air. It is a little hilly but not tiring. Most of the tourists are individual tourists. It is a good place to relax.

You need a ticket here, it seems to be about 8 yuan! Very cost-effective! Going in the morning can avoid the tour group, it is very quiet and comfortable!

Walking inside, you can see bamboos all over the mountain. There is only one road leading up. You can take a small path into the bamboo forest, where you will see unexpected scenery. Of course, you must take mosquito repellent measures in summer.

I really like the stone road inside, with cute little moss! It rained that day, so it might be a little slippery. It's a different experience to walk slowly.

This place is not very big, and it takes about 1-2 hours to see it all! The main entrance faces a whole tea garden. I wanted to take photos at that popular place, but it was locked because of the tea picking season.

When we reached the top of the mountain, we found a place similar to a temple. We didn’t want to go back the same way, so we walked in another direction and ended up on the Shili Langyao route. . . . There were really few people, and we could hardly see any human figures. This road passed through Meijiawu, the origin of Longjing tea. Here we officially started to go down the mountain. We met a group of tea-picking aunties, all of whom were from other places. Although they were not familiar with the place, they were very enthusiastic to help me find the way.

Be prepared, the pictures you see may be filtered. The real bamboo does not look lush green, but slightly gray. If you go for the pictures, you may be a little disappointed. The scenic area is mainly bamboo forest, which is beautiful, but also relatively monotonous. (My photos are without filters, you can feel it)

If you ask me how to avoid crowds in Hangzhou, my first reaction would be to recommend Yunqi Bamboo Path. I came here for the second time because it left a good impression on me during a family trip during the National Day two years ago. During the National Day holiday, the West Lake was so crowded that I couldn't move my legs, but there were still only a few people walking on Yunqi Bamboo Path. Although there were still a few more people than this time, it was definitely within an acceptable range!

There are many direct buses from Lingyin to Yunqi Bamboo Path. You can get on the bus at the "Santianzhu" stop and get off at the "Yunqi Bamboo Path" stop.

Yunqiwu is now shaded by green bamboos and has gurgling streams, which are extremely cool. The paths are winding and deep, and the gurgling streams flow along the paths. Summer is the best time to visit here. Walking on the quiet mountain path with "thousands of green bamboos towering into the sky and several winding mountain streams swallowing fine springs" is the best way to escape the heat and cool down!

Walking up the stone path, you will see several thousand-year-old trees. There are also teahouses and pavilions for pedestrians to rest.

On weekdays, there are even fewer people in Zhujing. After a stroll, the tea-picking aunties who live nearby have to go to work!

The place is not big, the scenery is very good, and it is very quiet. Occasionally, a few tourists make loud noises which may spoil the scenery.

It's still very cool inside the scenic area, the wind is strong and it's very cool. It's a summer resort, but if the weather gets hotter, there will probably be mosquitoes. Oh, the ticket for Yunqi Bamboo Path is 8 yuan ~ You can also just check in at the tree.

Take bus 324/103 from Jiuxi bus station to Yunqi Bamboo Trail, and you will be at the entrance of the park when you get off. There are not many people, so it is suitable for leisurely strolling. The bamboo forest is very large, and there are streams on both sides of the plank road. The sun shines in and it is beautiful

There were almost no people on Thursday, it was very quiet, and the bamboo was growing well.

The mountains are covered with lush green bamboos, which block out the sky and the sun, making it a great summer resort.

The quiet bamboo forest is very suitable for daily visits. The ticket price is 8 yuan, which is not expensive. There are no steps along the way, so you won't feel too tired. There are also routes suitable for hiking and climbing. You can go all the way to the God of Wealth Temple to ask for a wish to be granted.

The bamboos were badly crushed by the snow in January, but they should be in much better condition now. The scenery inside is much more beautiful than outside.

That day we started from Longjing Village and climbed down from Shililangdang. The scenery was really beautiful!

The place is not big, but it is like a fairyland, very Hangzhou, very beautiful.

If you don't have extra time, it is not recommended to come here, the scenery is quite ordinary.

The park is not very big, and it takes less than an hour to walk around. It is especially recommended for friends with elderly people who are not very convenient to walk, because the park is basically flat. There are not too many stairs, and there are also places to sit and many pavilions.

If you haven't seen a bamboo forest, you can take a tour. The scenery is nice and there are not many tourists.

My favorite place in Hangzhou is the Yunxi Bamboo Trail, especially the tea garden opposite.
