Zhuji Wuxie Scenic Area

诸暨五泄风景区

"Xie" means waterfall; the entire scenic area consists of four scenic areas: Wuxie Lake, Taoyuan, Dongyuan and Xiyuan Canyons. There is a five-fold waterfall in the area, which is the biggest attraction of the scenic area.
Wuxie offers different scenery in each season. You can play in the water in the summer, see the red leaves in the autumn, and see the ginkgo trees in the early winter. The scenery is very nice. In the summer, the waterfall area is very cool and is a good place to beat the heat.
The scenery of Dongyuan is the most classic. There is a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree in front of Wuxie Zen Temple, which is a scene of Wuxie. Walking from the bottom to the top, it is from the fifth to the first.
West Source and East Source have completely different scenery. The wet mountain paths and gurgling streams are particularly fresh and quiet, without the momentum and roar of East Source.

The scenery of Wuxie in Zhuji, Zhejiang, the hometown of Xishi, is unparalleled in the world. This time, I was fortunate to visit the renowned Wuxie Scenic Area accompanied by a beautiful young lady from Zhuji. I felt that my life had reached its peak.

Xiezhe Waterfall is also called Wuxie. As the name suggests, it has five levels of waterfalls. The moon is covered with a light veil, two dragons compete in the valley, and the pearl curtain is moved by the wind. A fierce horse gallops, and a dragon emerges from the sea. These beautiful words and images summarize the beauty of Wuxie.

The weather was beautiful on the day of our visit. The sun was shining brightly and the spring breeze was gentle. In addition, Zhuji had experienced a moderate spring rain the day before, which made the water volume of Wuxie abundant. This made the trip more interesting.

In addition, there are many scenic spots and historical sites for you to visit, such as the rippling Wuxie Lake and the ancient Wuxie Temple. It is no wonder that many scholars and poets of all ages have left poems, essays and drawings here to be passed down to the world.

I also highly recommend the local farmhouse, featuring authentic Jiangnan waterside farm dishes. Fresh bamboo shoots dug from the mountains are so tender they're practically juicy. This is definitely the best place to visit, especially the freshly slaughtered pheasant, which is tender and smooth. It's a true delicacy, and the sweet potato noodles are handmade with a variety of ingredients and over a dozen techniques, making them chewy, smooth, and firm. This restaurant is called Shangshanwu Farmhouse, and it's a popular spot for locals. Interested friends should give it a try, and you can even stay here to experience life in a paradise.

Finally, thank you again to the beautiful girl from Zhuji for accompanying me throughout the whole process. The world is small and I am lucky to meet you.

Take bus No. 57 to the terminus, the Wuxie Scenic Area Ticket Office (passing through Caota Ancient Town). Purchase your entry ticket (including the boat ticket), queue for the ferry to the other side, and take the shuttle bus to Wuxie Zen Temple. The ancient temple appears even more mysterious against the backdrop of autumn ginkgo trees. Not far from the temple is Wuxie Waterfall. Take the nearby hiking trail uphill to visit the Fourth, First, and Fifth waterfalls, respectively. Overall, the Fifth waterfall seems larger. Passing through a red maple forest and over Ziwei Ridge, you'll arrive at Xiyuan Grand Canyon. Most tour groups avoid this area, making the canyon even more tranquil and refreshing. The canyon is filled with gurgling streams, tangled vines, and deep trees. Hidden within the canyon are three waterfalls: Xilongtan Waterfall, Kelu Waterfall, and Maolongtan Waterfall. Kelu Waterfall and Maolongtan Waterfall are often overlooked by tourists. Maolongtan Waterfall, in particular, is rarely visited. The ground is covered in green moss, making it very slippery.

Online reviews of the Wuxie Scenic Area are quite positive, with people praising its beautiful scenery, fresh air, and breathtaking scenery. However, a word of caution: the attraction is certainly nice, but not breathtaking. The widespread online praise is likely due to the free admission until March 31st, but now, admission is charged...

The Wuxie Scenic Area is located outside Zhuji City, with two entrances: the South Gate and the North Gate. The South Gate is the main entrance, closer to the high-speed rail station and a 20-minute drive away. The North Gate requires a winding road up the mountain, a nearly 50-minute drive. Many recommend entering through the North Gate and exiting through the South Gate, primarily due to the downhill slope, making the walk easier and eliminating backtracking. Furthermore, if you enter through the South Gate, the first stop is a 20-yuan boat ride. If you enter through the North Gate and exit through the South Gate, then take the boat out for the final leg, you avoid ticket inspection, saving another 20 yuan.

The entire scenic area is divided into two parts: the East Source Waterfall and the West Source Canyon. Together, they can form a loop. However, I wouldn't recommend the West Source Canyon; the scenery is quite ordinary unless you're planning a leisurely hike. The overall grandeur of the Five-Flower Waterfall is still quite impressive. If I had to criticize it, it's that the distances between each cascade are too short. The top cascade is the first cascade, and I only walked a few dozen steps down when I realized I was already at the third cascade. It turns out the place where I just turned is the second cascade...

What really surprised me during the entire experience wasn't the five waterfalls; having previously visited Guizhou, I'm a bit indifferent to waterfalls. Instead, what really caught my eye was Wuxie Lake and the vast lawn that stretches out in front of the hotel after landing. Wuxie Lake is a large reservoir blocked by a dam. Entering and exiting from the south gate requires a boat ride through it. This section, surrounded by verdant mountains and clear water, is the most beautiful, in my opinion. It's no wonder so many people praise the Wuxie scenic area. It doesn't charge an entrance fee, and you get a free lake cruise. It would be a shame not to give it a good review.

Because I have always preferred natural landscapes, and Shaoxing scenic spots are basically human-made

The main thing is literature, so I specially set aside a day to visit Wuxie, the hometown of Xishi.

If you are not driving, you can only take a taxi or bus from Zhuji Station to Wuxie.

The bus service is not regular and the frequency is low.

You'll need to take a boat across the mountain's large reservoir, the Wuxie Lake. I hadn't expected such a large lake to exist in the mountains, and the scenery is quite stunning. Be sure to board the boat early; there are no more cruises after noon, so you'll have to take a speedboat. After disembarking, you'll need to walk a short distance to see the waterfalls, though a tour bus is available for a short distance. Due to time constraints, I only visited the waterfalls, but they were quite beautiful, especially the third and fifth waterfalls, which I found most stunning.

Children can enjoy the water in the stream below the waterfall. Overall, Wuxie is a great place to get close to nature in Shaoxing. There aren't many places to eat in the area, so just looking at the waterfalls should take about three hours.

By aihesyh |

The scenic area is very unique and can be entered by boat. The trees on the shore are very lush.

Although the five-tiered waterfall is not large, each has its own beauty, and the steps are very steep.

It was quiet walking in the scenic area, and it was cool even at noon in June.

You don't have to take the electric car as the distance is not far.

It is very convenient to take a taxi or bus in and out of the South Gate.

It takes ten minutes to get from Yixie to the North Gate, which is very close, but it is very inconvenient to take a taxi to the North Gate, so you need to reserve the taxi driver's phone number.

Today I went to the Wuxie Scenic Area in Zhuji. I took bus No. 57 from the train station for 5 yuan, and the bus stopped at dozens of stops along the way. There's no direct tourist bus from Zhuji Train Station, so the 18-kilometer journey took nearly an hour and a half. On the way back to the train station, the No. 57 bus unexpectedly dropped all passengers off at a gas station for 310 yuan. Features: After purchasing your ticket, you have to climb 200 steps to enter the scenic area, then take a boat. The boat and entrance fee are both reasonable, and the lake scenery is beautiful, with clear blue water. The boat runs every half hour, and the area is sparsely populated. The Wuxie Waterfall has a small drop, with the third waterfall, the largest, and the second waterfall, dropping just over 20 meters. See the pictures below for details of the first to fifth waterfalls! The round trip took three and a half hours. Food was incredibly expensive within the scenic area, and the crowds were sparse. It was a stark contrast to my previous visits to Chongdu Valley, where the crowds were only a fraction of what they were. The mandatory Wuxie waterfall only had five small waterfalls, while Chongdu Valley boasts nearly a hundred waterfalls, the largest of which has a drop of over a hundred meters. Wuxie was merely a lakeside retreat for leisure! The red maple leaves were stunning. Chongdu Valley offers a two-day tour, with nearly 10,000 beds averaging just 100 yuan. A three-hour tour of Wuxie offered over 100 beds, averaging 250 yuan. The same product and quantity were available. Sweet corn in Wuxie is the same price as in Hangzhou's West Lake Scenic Area, at 5 yuan each, while in Chongdu Valley, it's 2 yuan each. A bowl of three-fresh noodles in Wuxie costs 25 yuan, while in Chongdu Valley, it's 10 yuan.

I'll share two photos of the Chongdu Valley waterfall complex in Luanchuan, China, where I visited. Each waterfall is more impressive than the Wuxie Waterfall! While it's smaller than China's largest waterfalls, Jiuzhaigou and Huangguoshu, the drop is greater! Chongdu Valley is the only scenic spot in China with so many waterfalls! Laojun Mountain is truly breathtaking, with its breathtaking scenery at 2,000 meters!

The most expensive bus fare from Zhuji Railway Station in Zhejiang to Wuxie Scenic Area is 5 yuan, while the fare from Jinhua Station to Shuanglong Cave Scenic Area is 4 yuan. The fare from Shengze Station in Jiangsu to Zhenze Station is 1 yuan, and the fare from Wujiang Station to Tongli Ancient Town is 1 yuan. Zhejiang's bus fares are more expensive than Jiangsu's, but the distances are also shorter for buses of the same class.

I had a lot of fun. Although there is nothing special about Haoxianggou, the important thing is the people around me.

Scenic area = reservoir + waterfall. The overall park is fresh air and beautiful environment. You can go for a stroll if you have enough time. It is an exaggeration to say that you must go there.

By Thriving |

The scenery is beautiful. In addition to the Dongyuan Waterfall Scenic Area, if you have enough time, you can visit the Xiyuan Canyon Scenic Area.

【Public Transportation Information】

1. From Zhuji Railway Station, take bus No. 57 to the Wuxie Scenic Area (via Datang, Caota, and Wuxie towns). The journey takes about 40 minutes, with 44 buses running daily, every 15-20 minutes. This bus is generally used, but it passes through several towns along the way and can be quite busy.

2. From Zhuji Bus Station, take bus No. 157 to the Wuxie Scenic Area (via the East Third Ring Road, South Third Ring Road, and Wuxie Town). The journey takes about 50 minutes, with 16 buses departing daily, every 30-50 minutes. This route was newly added in 2018, so there are few major towns along the way and few passengers.

After getting off at the terminal station, Wuxie Scenic Area, you still have to walk another 300 meters to the ticket office at the entrance of the scenic area.

3. If you're traveling by land from Xiaoshan, you can also take the Fengzhou branch of bus 217 (bound for Yingdian Street to Zilang) from the Yingdian Street bus station. Get off at the final stop, Fengzhou Zhangjia. Walk 200 meters to the north gate of the Wuxie Scenic Area. This bus runs infrequently, with only eight trips per day. Zhuji's urban and rural bus schedule is complex to find and is not recommended.

Alipay is accepted on Zhuji public transportation.

The Wuxie ticket is 80 yuan for adults, and only 10 yuan if you show your Shaoxing ID card.

See the picture for the Wuxie Reservoir ferry schedule. Note that the schedule differs slightly between summer and winter. The ferry takes 10 minutes one way.

The electric car is 5 yuan one way, not worth it. This section of the road is 12 minutes fast and 15 minutes slow.

Car parking was 10 yuan in May 2018, but it's now 20 yuan. I'm not sure if the Price Bureau has issued any public notice. Before entering the scenic area from Qingkou in Wuxie Town, you'll encounter a checkpoint where staff will collect your parking fee and issue a receipt. If you encounter a private individual charging 20 or 30 yuan on the road, they're a scammer.

It is the most famous scenic spot in Zhuji, but it is indeed crowded, especially in the first half, with tour groups crowded together. The scenery in the second half is beautiful and there are few people. It takes about 3 hours to complete a circle.

By Half an acre of flower fields |

Seeing is believing. As a Shaoxing native, this was my first time in Zhuji and my first time visiting Wuxie. I was quite moved by nature's wonders and gifts. Along the way, I was met with frogs, butterflies, and insects of all sizes. Shaoxing residents receive free admission with their ID. (๑• . •๑)

I studied in Zhuji for three years and never went to Wuxie. This time I went to Wuxie Scenic Area with my girlfriend. The coolness and scenery were worth the price.

The air is good, nothing special. The ticket price is not expensive. It's a good place to go for a walk on the weekend. There is a local restaurant at the foot of the mountain called Jiaxiefeng Waterfall, which tastes pretty good.

Thanks to the rain the day before, the Wuxie waterfalls were still quite impressive. The Fifth Falls is the largest and is accessible because there's a stream where you can catch small fish and shrimp. The rocks are quite slippery, so it's easy to slip, but that's part of the fun. I highly recommend visiting in the summer. There's a bus from Zhuji Railway Station that goes directly to Wuxie, Route 57.

It's a very nice scenic spot. Although the Wuxie waterfall is not very spectacular, it is better in terms of beautiful scenery.

The ticket price is not expensive.

By milkvetch |

The mountain is not high, the scenery is OK, Xiyuan Canyon is quite quiet, and the ticket price is quite worth it. There is no traffic jam on the road during the National Day holiday. In short, it is good to sweat and wash your lungs.

We didn't get to see the Wuxie Waterfall due to heavy rain, but we did get to see the spectacular sight of the reservoir releasing water. We were also very pleased with the responsible management of the scenic area.

By The Travels of a Dirt-Eating Girl |

A great place for hiking not far from Shanghai. The mountains are not high and are relatively easy to climb. The climate in the mountains is quite comfortable, but there are a lot of insects. In fact, I prefer the quietness of Xiyuan Canyon to the Wuxie Waterfall in Dongyuan.

There are a lot of shade trees and streams, it is very cool in the summer and the scenery is also nice.

When I revisited the place ten years later, the waterfalls had been blocked and only the stream remained.

It took seven or eight hours to finally get to Wuxie Rafting from Jiangsu. The mountain scenery on both sides was average, but the highlight was the rafting. Once I put on my life jacket and started rafting, it was exciting. The ups and downs along the way were very thrilling, but it was within a safe range. However, you should be careful not to be too careless. There were many capsized boats along the way, and many helmets were knocked off by the currents. The riverbed is full of rocks, so capsizing can cause injuries. Overall, it was very exciting and quite good.

It's a great place, and the waterfall is a great place to take pictures of the ancient scenery! These photos were taken on my last visit. I'll take more next time. For more photos, see my Weibo post.

The bus is very convenient, the scenery is nice, and you can take a boat tour with your ticket, which is pretty good.

By Daily cat petting |

The scenery is okay. While the waterfalls certainly can't compare to the Huangguoshu waterfall in Lushan, they're plenty refreshing for a refreshing summer escape. You can play in the water at the Fifth Falls, but the rocks are incredibly slippery! Very slippery! If you fall in, you'll have to buy a change of clothes from the nearby shop, which are both ugly and expensive. So, remember to bring some clothes if you're going in the water. The trail isn't steep, and the steeper parts are guardrailed, so it's very safe. I saw many parents bringing their children, using butterfly nets (10 yuan each) to catch brook fish. Oh, and the brook fish is delicious!

By Alice |

The scenery is beautiful, perfect for hiking, and perfect for those who don't like crowds. After the waterfall, it's time to hike. It's perfect for hiking enthusiasts, haha, but the mountain is a bit too low for them. There are also good farmhouses, but there aren't any here, and the few that are available are quite expensive.

By Grand debut |

There's a direct train from Shanghai to Zhuji, but since I couldn't buy a ticket, I went via Shaoxing. A taxi from Lu Xun's Former Residence to Shaoxing West Station costs 15 yuan and takes less than 20 minutes. You can also take bus No. 13. The trip to Zhuji is 24 yuan per person, with insurance for 2 yuan per person. The journey to Zhuji Long-distance Bus Station takes less than an hour, and the last bus back to Shaoxing leaves at 6:50 PM. The exit of Zhuji Long-distance Bus Station is directly opposite bus No. 57 bound for Wuxie, which also passes through Zhuji Railway Station. The trip takes 25 minutes from the Long-distance Bus Station to the scenic area, and 1 hour and 10 minutes one way. It costs 7 yuan per person. The last bus back to Zhuji leaves at 5:30 PM, with buses running every 25 minutes.

After getting off the bus, walk toward the bridge and follow the rightmost path to the scenic area. A half-price ticket costs 45 yuan, including the boat ticket. Entering the scenic area, walking through the Wisteria Corridor to the pier takes about three minutes. It's recommended to check the boat departure times in advance, as they depart quite frequently. If you don't want to wait, you'll need to pay at least 20 yuan per person for a speedboat crossing Wuxie Lake. This section of the journey requires a return trip, and the same route applies on the way back. The speedboat crossing takes three minutes, while the large boat takes 10 minutes.

After getting off the boat and turning around the pier, there's another electric bus. A one-way trip costs 5 yuan, and a round-trip trip costs 10 yuan. This journey takes about 10 minutes. The main tour begins at the exit of the electric bus. The road ahead leads to the Dongyuan Waterfalls, while the road on the left leads to the Xiyuan Grand Canyon. It's recommended to enter through the Xiyuan Grand Canyon and exit through the Dongyuan Waterfalls, as the waterfalls become increasingly spectacular.

Wisteria flowers should be in bloom in late April or early May. There's a ginkgo forest on the other side of the Xiyuan Grand Canyon tram station, and a maple forest near the Dongyuan Waterfalls, both of which are perfect for autumn.

Salt water popsicles in the scenic area are 5 yuan each, you can calculate the prices yourself!

On the return trip, if you want to take an electric car to catch the boat, forget it. I saw that when the boat was about to depart, the tourists and the driver were sitting on the electric car, but the driver did not drive.

The entire tour takes about 5 and a half hours.

Zhuji Wuxie Scenic Area is located 23 kilometers northwest of Zhuji City. 72 peaks, 36 pings, 25 cliffs, 10 rocks, 5 waterfalls, 3 valleys, 2 streams, and 1 lake form a natural landscape painting, earning it the nickname "Little Wild Goose Pond." Locals call a waterfall "xie," and the five tiers of water make it the "Wuxie" area. My second visit to Wuxie was no less beautiful. While the weather was favorable, we were disappointed that it wasn't the peak season. Nevertheless, it remains a well-established national scenic spot. Some photos are from my first visit.

The city's No. 57 tourist bus runs directly to the Wuxie Scenic Area, departing every 15 minutes. From the entrance, you'll first need to walk up a flight of stone steps to the boat dock, where you can catch a free boat. The entrance fee is 80 yuan (including the boat fee) to the other side of the lake, where you'll enter the scenic area. The park is vast, with cascading waterfalls and rapids, each offering a unique and spectacular view. The best time to visit is in July or August, when the waterfalls are at their most powerful and beautiful.

Wuxie Lake, formed by a reservoir, is accessible by boat through East and West Streams. East and West Streams are connected by a mountain road. East Stream is composed of five consecutive waterfalls, each with its own unique characteristics, hence the name Wuxie. Compared to the bustling East Stream, the tranquility of West Stream offers a different experience.

The order was five creeks, four creeks, three creeks, two creeks, and one creek. It was a pattern of climbing, panting, climbing, and panting. I hadn't expected such a strong flow even in winter. Wonderful! Before setting off, I was worried the water would dry up and the rocks would crumble. I figured even if there wasn't a drop of water, I could still appreciate the entire structure. Instead, I saw a remarkably full flow of one, two, three, four, and five creeks.

We left Changshu for Wuxie at 8:00 AM and arrived at 2:00 PM. The main reason was a bit of traffic on the 11th Expressway, but the scenic spots weren't crowded. It had rained that morning, which was very pleasant, and the water was plentiful. While the small waterfalls in Wuxie aren't as impressive as the massive ones in the 5A-rated scenic areas, they were still quite nice. Plus, the crowds were relatively few, and the water was incredibly clear, especially the one on the mountain. I really wanted to take off my shoes and play in it, but it was still quite cold on October 1st, which was a bit of a shame! Recommended for those who enjoy a relaxing drive but are wary of being stuck in traffic at other scenic spots. While not as good as the 5A-rated ones, it's refreshing, quiet, and comfortable. A great place!

Outside is the artificial reservoir Wuxie Lake, which requires a boat to enter.

The boat was very pleasant sailing among the green mountains and green waters. The scenery was absolutely amazing. Surrounded by greenery, you could hear the sound of water all along the way.

It is especially suitable to go to Wuxie in summer because it is cooler and the stream water is more abundant in summer, making the waterfall more spectacular.

By the way, you can book tickets online in advance. Transportation: Take bus No. 57 from Zhuji Railway Station to Wuxie, which runs every 15 minutes and costs 5.00 yuan.

The ticket to Wuxie is 80 yuan, or you can buy a package ticket with Xishi's hometown for 140 yuan.

Wuxie is divided into the Dongyuan Waterfall Group and the Xiyuan Grand Canyon. Dongyuan has more steps and Xiyuan has more flat land, so we chose to go to Dongyuan on the first day. Dongyuan actually refers to the five waterfalls, which is why Wuxie got its name.

By All is said without words |

Wuxie is hidden among the mountains and has beautiful scenery. The waterfall increases in height from the first waterfall to the fifth waterfall, which forms the largest and most spectacular waterfall.

It's 90 kilometers from Hangzhou, 65 kilometers of which are on the highway, making the entire trip less than an hour and a half. The scenic area was quite pleasant. It rained a few days ago, so the waterfalls were quite powerful. However, what impressed me most about this attraction was the vibrant beauty of the landscape and the lushness of the trees. Walking, exploring, boating, hiking, waterfall viewing, and playing in the water offered a variety of activities, but the most consistent experience was the scenic beauty. While each waterfall is small, the sight of five consecutive small waterfalls is rare in China. Furthermore, the mountains are lush and green, the stone paths are quiet and winding, and every step offers a new scene. It's a place worth visiting. I regret not visiting Xiyuan Gorge this time, but it's a perfect excuse to return in autumn when the maple leaves turn red and the ginkgo leaves turn yellow.

The scenic area is mainly divided into three major scenic spots: Taoyuan, Dongyuan and Xiyuan. To enter the scenic area, you have to walk about 200 steps to the reservoir dock to take a boat. The boat ticket is included in the ticket and usually runs every 45 minutes. Of course, you can take a speedboat for 20 yuan. The boat will take seven or eight minutes to Taoyuan Dock. After walking ashore for about 10 minutes, you will reach the battery car stop. Here you can take a battery car to visit or hike around the Taoyuan Scenic Area. The hike takes about half an hour. It is recommended to hike when you have enough time. You can take a battery car back. The ticket price is 5 yuan. The battery car ride takes about 5 to 6 minutes. The end point is Wuxie Zen Temple, which is also the starting point of Dongyuan Waterfall Viewing Scenic Area. After passing the Zen temple is the Fifth Fall, and then climb up the stairs. The Fourth Fall is winding, the Third Fall is wide, the Second Fall is quiet, and the First Fall is mini.

From the First Gorge, you can walk through the Red Maple Forest to Xiyuan Gorge, or return via the Red Maple Villa. Unfortunately, we went there because Xiyuan Gorge was under construction and closed. It's said to be 10 kilometers long and ends near the entrance to the Fifth Gorge. However, the Red Maple Forest is a great resting spot with a place to eat. The scenery is quite nice, with blue skies, white clouds, lush green grass, crimson leaves, and a vibrant stream. I saw many people there having a great time fishing and catching shrimp. After a half-hour rest here, we returned the same way and arrived at the entrance at 2:30 pm, making the entire tour about 6 hours.

It’s free for people from Zhuji, but people from other places have to pay. I felt terrible instantly. I felt like I was cheated. What a bastard.

The place is small, there are not many things, the house is built rather crudely, it is not worth the money at all

"There is no dust here, and there is even more green up there." It is a place that makes people want to stop and live in seclusion. The green mountains, clear water, drizzle and white springs, the ethereal beauty is not an exaggeration.

Wuxie is a beautiful place. There's a small green car to get to, and a very funny driver. Then you can take a speedboat. It's a quick ride, but it's still quite enjoyable. On the way back, you can take a large boat, which is free. Going in March will give you the chance to see flying catkins and a red maple forest on the top of the mountain. I think taking wedding photos here would be absolutely stunning. But I recommend going in May, when the waterfall is at its largest and most spectacular.

The scenery is good, passing through the woods, the eyes are full of green and very comfortable; going up from the east side, there are many stairs and it is very tiring, but it is worth climbing to the top. The five streams have their own characteristics. There are red maples in the canyon on the west side, which is another scenery.

Wuxie is located in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. It's believed to have been a flood discharge channel, with its bizarre peaks, jagged rocks, and lush pine and cypress forests. The water flows through a variety of unique waterfalls, creating stunning scenery. Arriving at the Xiyuan Grand Canyon, you'll be greeted by a lush greenery and a gurgling stream. In the summer, slippers are available for a refreshing dip in the water, some fishing, and some fun fishing.

In Zhuji's Wuxie Scenic Area, Wuxie Lake, nestled among towering mountains, shimmers green, its waves shimmering with ripples, only to be interrupted by the occasional speedboat. It's peak season for the sight of a vibrant foliage of ginkgo trees, a surprising sight before departure. Layers of yellow create natural light patterns, and the wind rustles the branches, revealing a vibrant autumn scene, with ginkgo petals strewn across the steps.

During the dry season, the water volume is not very high. The amount of exercise is not bad, and a little exercise is still good.

I went there with my classmates who were working part-time in college. It was a rare big gathering in the dormitory. It was a beautiful place.

The so-called "Five Falls" refers to the five waterfalls that cascade down from the mountaintop, giving it its name. The area is lush with trees and fresh air, making it a national forest park and a natural oxygen bar.

Wuxie, named after the five waterfalls cascading down in series, is located in Wuxie Town, Zhuji.

After entering the mountain gate, you need to take a boat, either a speedboat or a cruise ship, depending on your budget.

Forget the electric ferry. Strolling through the garden, the stone paths, the green leaves and the forest are perfect for weight loss.

To go to Wuxie (five-level waterfall), first walk up the steps to the dam and take a boat. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Tianyibi Wharf. You can continue to take an electric car (5 yuan one way) or walk to Wuxie Zen Temple, where there are large areas of ginkgo trees.

The water in the Wuxie Waterfall Group is indeed a little less. A little disappointed

The surprise of Wuxie Scenic Area is that the hike around the east and west sides is quite intense. The climb is very intense. I was so hot that I had to wear short sleeves. My waist and legs are sore and shaking today.

This time I finally went to this place, and it really didn't disappoint me.

Wuxie recommends that you come to see it in person. The sound of the water is so loud and the feeling is much more shocking than the photos. It is really pleasant to watch the water and the air is very fresh.

The most regrettable thing about coming to Wuxie was not wearing slippers. I wanted to get completely close to nature and see many children and adults catching fish in the river and catching dragonflies with nets. I believe that at this time, surrounded by the beauty of nature, no matter how old you are, you will find your childlike innocence!

As soon as you walk into the scenic area, you will feel that the morning air is very fresh, which makes you feel refreshed. Many unknown birds are singing non-stop. There are not many tourists entering after 7 o'clock. It is really nice to get up early and play.

Upon entering the scenic area, we climbed over 200 steps to Wuxie Lake and waited for the boat ride. The animals were a real expense. Six of us took a speedboat (20 yuan per person) and arrived in just five minutes. The boat ride (free) would have taken even longer. We then walked a short distance to the electric car station. Many guidebooks recommend using the electric car to maintain energy for the subsequent climb. Furthermore, the electric car price has increased, from two yuan to five yuan. I don't think it's worth taking the electric car. The route is not very long and is flat, so if you're not physically fit, you can completely skip it.

The scenery along the walking trail is stunning and not to be missed. Further ahead is a newly renovated temple. Past it, you'll reach the fork in the Xiyuan and Dongyuan rivers. The standard route is to take the Xiyuan route to see the Wuxie River. The Wuxie River is a series of five waterfalls with varying degrees of drop. The Wuxie Scenic Area is a National 4A-level scenic area renowned for its natural beauty. Due to heavy rainfall, the water from the Wuxie River surged down with a roaring force. When we reached the fourth waterfall, the water flooded the path leading up the mountain, making it impossible to continue. The security guard on duty wouldn't let us wade through. We had no choice but to return, having missed the spectacular views of the first, second, and third waterfalls.

Shortly after entering the scenic area, we saw a series of stairs. Climbing them led to the ferry. After finally reaching the top, my mom and I were already exhausted, so we took a few photos. We had forgotten the ferry schedule, and by the time we were done, we realized it had only left two or three minutes earlier. The speedboat fare is 100 yuan per boat for under four people, and 20 yuan per person for over four. A young couple had missed the ferry and planned to take the speedboat, so we shared the boat for only 20 yuan per person. While the speedboat was a bit of a luxury, it was incredibly fast, and we caught up with the ferry in no time. It was a truly unique experience.

Wuxie is particularly beautiful because of the rain

The rain makes the trees full of vitality

The air is filled with abundant water vapor

Let me deeply feel the breath of the forest
