蒲江樱桃山景区距成都约84公里，1小时车程，景区交通方便，万亩樱桃，无论是新春花开还是甜润品果，纯净的乡村风貌使其成为最美的田园景区，各地游客自由采摘，尽情品尝，乡村的传统美食也是城市人难得的味觉体验。游客来源已由最早的成都片区，扩大到眉山、雅安、德阳、绵阳等地，接待人数逐年上升，景区发展已步入健康稳定的态势。蒲江樱桃山景区达到国家3A旅游景区标准，并正式批准为国家3A级旅游景区。据了解，升级为国家3A旅游景区后，"樱桃山"旅游景区还将重点打造官帽山健身益智休闲度假区、檬子河亲水游乐民俗体验区等旅游休闲园区。

蒲江樱桃山景区由4个自然村组成，分别金花村、韩桥村、官帽村和石燕村。

蒲江县年平均气温16.3℃，平坝、丘陵、山地随地势升高，夏季逐渐缩短，冬季逐渐增长；“两河”下游的寿安地区为夏季最长地区，长秋山区为冬季最长地区。县境属暖水区，“两河”平坝区水温平均比气温高2.0℃；耕作层5～20厘米处，年平均地温在17.9～18.2℃之间，高于年平均气温1.6～1.9℃。县境内日照时数，春夏足而秋冬短；降雪少，年平均降雨量1196.8毫米；年平均相对湿度为85%，除5月份最低为79%外，其余月份均在80%以上；风向以东北风、西南风为主。
