济南月牙泉介绍

月牙泉为民国《续修历城县志》所著录的济南名泉之一，属五龙潭泉群。据清代王培荀《乡园忆旧录》记载：“月牙泉 ,在西门外北巷中,形似初月,故名.水极清澈,有王氏宅临泉,隔一墙,内有巨池,蓄红鱼数十头,长几丈余,粗如巨桶,不知养自何年.“该泉曾于1964年予以整修，扩大水面，泉池周围砌以高低错落的太湖石，水中立一高达3米的太湖石，犹如月宫中的玉兔。

月牙泉位于天下第一泉风景区五龙潭公园内，古温泉东。泉池呈不规则状。1964年，水面扩大，并用自然石驳岸，水中叠蘑菇云状山石。四周植以垂柳游人可于树荫下乘凉赏泉。

盛水时，泉水从石中涌出，顺势叠瀑而下，似飞瀑，若水帘，形成泉中之泉的月牙飞瀑奇观。月牙泉在济南72名泉中喷涌的水位是最高的，只有下水位达到29米时，才会喷涌。“月牙飞瀑”出现同时标志着72泉全部喷涌。
