涌泉庵

涌泉庵介绍

涌泉庵位于神通寺白虎山阳，因涌泉得名。占地面积6380平方米。始建于北魏、东魏年间。

现存后殿1座，面阔3间，进深2间，砖木石结构，为清代重修。殿西有小房1座，门额上嵌“吕祖祠”3字。殿房旁有残碑若干。相传尼姑明喜的父亲不愿在朝中做官，来神通寺为僧，法名兴公。

济南72名泉之一的涌泉从庵内方池中雕刻的龙头嘴里喷涌而出，汇集成“细水长流”、“锦上添花”、“悬崖瀑布”等秀丽景观，通过涌泉桥，依山势三迭而下，形成可观的“百尺飞流”。这里有长势良好的竹林，面积达2公顷，在我国北方实为罕见。泉水淙淙，修竹婆娑，环境幽深、淡雅。
