Weihai Fort was built in the late Qing Dynasty as part of the defense system along the coast. It played a significant role in protecting Weihai from foreign naval threats during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, it stands as a symbol of China's military heritage and is a popular historical site.
Weihai Fort is located in Weihai, Shandong Province. It can be accessed by taking a taxi or local bus from the city center. Walking from the downtown area is also an option for those who enjoy sightseeing along the way.
