筒车湾休闲景区是国家AAAA级景区，位于秦岭南坡腹地，秦岭腹地的一颗璀璨明珠，具体位置在陕西省宁陕县筒车湾镇，景区水资源是十分丰富的，水体景观形式多样，主要有河、溪、瀑、泉和潭等。

筒车湾休闲景区境内幽深的谷壑、蜿蜒的溪涧、奇异的岩石、旖旎的峰峦、缠绵的云雾、滕泻的瀑布、星罗的湖泊，构成了汶水河漂流景区“雄、秀、奇、幽”的自然特色。架橡皮艇顺清流而下，两岸流翠青山、秀丽风光尽收眼底，蓝天白云连同壮观的高速路从头顶飞过，有“艇在画中漂，人在画中游”的况味。

气候和最佳旅行时间

亚热带大陆性季风气候，气候湿润温和，四季分明，雨量充沛，无霜期长。其特点是冬季寒冷少雨，夏季多雨多有伏旱，春暖干燥，秋凉湿润并多连阴雨。春夏秋季出游最佳。
