
筒车湾休闲景区是国家AAAA级景区,位于秦岭南坡腹地,秦岭腹地的一颗璀璨明珠,具体位置在陕西省宁陕县筒车湾镇,景区水资源是十分丰富的,水体景观形式多样,主要有河、溪、瀑、泉和潭等。
筒车湾休闲景区境内幽深的谷壑、蜿蜒的溪涧、奇异的岩石、旖旎的峰峦、缠绵的云雾、滕泻的瀑布、星罗的湖泊,构成了汶水河漂流景区“雄、秀、奇、幽”的自然特色。架橡皮艇顺清流而下,两岸流翠青山、秀丽风光尽收眼底,蓝天白云连同壮观的高速路从头顶飞过,有“艇在画中漂,人在画中游”的况味。
亚热带大陆性季风气候,气候湿润温和,四季分明,雨量充沛,无霜期长。其特点是冬季寒冷少雨,夏季多雨多有伏旱,春暖干燥,秋凉湿润并多连阴雨。春夏秋季出游最佳。
景区总面积约12平方公里,其中汶水河漂流区面积约2.8平方公里。景区共有七大景点,主要以参与性水上项目为主,分别是:筒车湾漂流、筒车湾欢乐水世界、苍龙峡溯溪穿越、城隍庙、石佛台、朱鹮野化放飞基地、十八丈瀑布。其中又以“筒车湾漂流”和“筒车湾欢乐水世界”为主打项。
