
华阳景区位于陕西省汉中市秦岭南麓的洋县华阳镇,距县城76公里,旅游区由华阳古镇和长青国家级自然保护区构成,平均海拔1700m,山水风光以“高、寒、奇、险、秀”为特点,“一山有四季,十里不同天”,被称为中国“动植物生态资源宝库“。
”四大国宝”—朱鹮、大熊猫、金丝猴、羚牛在同一区域同时出现,国内外罕见。尤其是被国际生物界誉为“动物活化石”的大熊猫在区内分布密集,约有120余只,占秦岭大熊猫总数的1/3,野外偶见率达50%以上,且多次发现棕白色和纯白色大熊猫,具有极高的观赏和科考价值。
华阳景区先后被国家、陕西省命名为“中国最佳文化生态旅游目的地”、“中国著名文化旅游古镇”、“全国红色旅游经典景区”、“陕西省党史教育基地”。华阳景区是集古镇、红色、生态、田园风光、自然资源等元素为一体的综合性旅游景区。
华阳景区属北亚热带内陆性季风气候,境内四季分明,光照充足,气候温和湿润。降雨期最多为7、9、10月份。3~6月出游最佳。
华阳古镇, 面积约7平方公里,秦汉成集镇,唐宋设县治,至今已有2000余载的历史。它是历史上有名的古道驿站、古军事要冲、古经济政治重镇。
修建于清代初期的古戏楼,高约8米,长约15米,宽约12米,平面呈长方形上下两层,楼顶施灰筒瓦,四角起翘,有风铃。每逢节庆日,人们在此聚集,敲锣打鼓,台上唱起秦腔名曲。戏楼前的这片广场群众称其为“戏楼坝”,是华阳人进行文娱活动和物资交流的地方。
红二十五军司令部旧址, 1935年3月8日,以程子华为军长、徐海东为副军长、吴焕先为政委的红25军来到华阳,发现这里山大林深、易守难功,决定建立革命根据地,将司令部设在红石窑村的余家大院内。
华阳革命烈士纪念碑, 1935年7月底,华阳苏区和华阳游击队经历了血与火的143天,在这期间,洋县苏维埃政府干部,县委交通员、红军伤员、游击队员67人被敌人逮捕,壮烈牺牲,他们在洋县革命史上留下了光辉一页。
1988年,中共洋县县委、洋县人民政府为纪念在革命斗争中捐躯牺牲的烈士,在华阳革命根据地修建了“革命烈士纪念碑”,它巍然屹立于华阳镇烟家岭山峁上,方圆数里遥望可及,成为华阳古镇的一道靓点,是对青少年进行革命传统教育的重要场所。
长青生态旅游区是集珍稀动植物观赏、生态观光、科考修学、探险、休闲、度假为一体,是秦岭南坡山岳型综合性生态旅游区。
