省庐介绍

    省庐，又名竹隐庐，位于杭州北山街36号，依山面湖，临街而筑。建于民国二十年，主人为王丰镐，字省三，所以省庐取其字命名，他曾任浙江洋务局总办，浙江交涉使等。

    省庐为仿西式建筑的别墅，院中三幢楼，中为主楼，左右各设角楼，在当时西湖别墅中领风气之先，颇显洋派。朝南庭院用花窗围墙圈护；院子中间为一幢两层多开间的主楼，左右各有一座角楼，与主楼以廊檐相连，似分又合，互为呼应。
