佛光山佛陀纪念馆介绍

    佛光山佛陀纪念馆，位于台湾高雄市大树区,坐西朝东，除了主体建筑正馆外，成“前有八塔，后有大佛，南有灵山，北有祇园”的格局。

    主建筑位于中轴线上，从东至西依序有礼敬大厅、八塔、万人照相台、菩提广场、本馆及佛光大佛等，另外南有灵山，北有祇园。

    佛陀纪念馆高度约50米，占地4000平方米，塔身设计为覆钵式，以黄砂岩为基座外饰，塔身则为锈石。佛陀纪念馆内部地下两层，地上五层，除供奉佛牙舍利外，另设有可容二千余人集会的大觉堂及多功能的展示空间。
