Skogafoss is a waterfall located on the Skoga River in southern Iceland, near the small village of Skogafoss. Iceland boasts numerous waterfalls, each with its own unique characteristics. East of Skógafoss, you’ll find one of Iceland’s most famous hiking trails: the Femvöllsjökull Trail. This 22-kilometer trail winds its way between two glaciers (Mördalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull), along the Skóga River, and into the beautiful Jätrösjököl valley.
