Yongxiu County Hudong Park is a key component of the Bailian Lake Scenic Park. Following the completion of Yongxiu County Bailian Park, it is the second urban greening project. Opened to the public in January 2010, it has become a popular destination for leisurely strolls.
In order to further beautify the urban environment and improve the city's taste, Yongxiu decided to transform the Bailian Lake into an open landscape corridor with lotus quality, integrating ecology, leisure and education, and a lakeside landscape park and Yongxiu's city business card.
Construction of the park began on June 30, 2009, and was fully completed on December 31, 2009. The park, built on a 21-meter-high embankment at Wusong, has expanded the area of Bailian Lake to 3,000 mu, transforming Yongxiu County into a truly unique landscape garden city characterized by "city amidst greenery, water within the city, and people amidst the scenery."
The subtropical monsoon climate is suitable for all seasons.
Yongxiu Bailian Lake Scenic Park covers a total area of 420,000 square meters, with a total investment of 15 million yuan. The park includes 160,000 square meters of construction area and 260,000 square meters of water area. The park is divided into a plaza leisure area, a waterfront leisure area, a leisure and walking area, an entertainment area, and a wetland science and education area.

Guided tours are not commonly available, but the park’s layout is easy to navigate. No official audio guides are provided, but local guides may be hired upon request.

Night visits are not typically available at Hudong Park, as it closes by 6:00 PM. There are no regular light shows or special tours, but occasional events may be organized during holidays or festivals.
