Introducing Lingying Scenic Area

The Lingying Scenic Tourist Area is located on the hillside of Daimao Mountain in Hongmei Town, northeast of Nan'an. The area boasts the grand Lingying Temple, built during the Later Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties. The area also boasts Guanyin Square, Guanyin Pavilion, and other tourist facilities. It is the city's only national AAAAA scenic spot and its first provincial forest park.

Dehua is one of China's three major porcelain capitals. As early as the Song Dynasty, Dehua porcelain was exported overseas. During the Ming Dynasty, Dehua's transparent white porcelain, resembling ivory, earned the name "Ivory White." Dehua porcelain varieties include Jianbai, Gaobai, Pubai, as well as the newly developed Baoshihuang, Jianhong, Zhuyu, purple clay pottery, crackle glazes, silver thread glazes, and various colored glazes. Major products include a wide variety of Chinese and Western tableware, tea sets, wine sets, and other daily-use fine porcelains; traditional porcelain sculptures of figures and animals; and decorative art pieces such as vases, flowerpots, and lamps. These products fall into three categories, each with thousands of items.
