The Bao Zheng Temple in Kaifeng, nestled on the shores of Bao Zheng Lake in the southwest of Kaifeng City, commemorates Bao Zheng, a renowned upright official in Chinese history. It is the largest, most comprehensive, and most influential dedicated memorial to Bao Zheng in China and abroad. The temple covers an area of one hectare and consists of a main hall, two secondary halls, east and west side halls, a half-wall corridor, and a stele pavilion.
The Bao Zheng Temple boasts a simple and solemn style. To the east lies the Lingshi Garden, a unique and elegant structure comprised of stone carvings and waterside pavilions. Inside the temple, there are exhibits including a bronze statue of Bao Zheng, bronze guillotines representing dragons, tigers, and dogs, a wax figure of Bao Zheng judging cases, the "Kaifeng Prefecture Inscription Stele," and historical records such as the "Bao Zheng History."
The weather is suitable for all seasons, and there will be folk artists performing during the Spring Festival, which is very lively.
