
Qinglong County, under the jurisdiction of Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the southwest of Guizhou Province and in the northeastern corner of Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It faces Guanling County across the river to the east and borders Shuicheng and Liuzhi Special Districts to the north. Qinglong County is home to numerous rivers and streams, the major ones being the Xibi River, Daqiao River, and Mabu River. The county has an average annual precipitation of 1,380 mm and a total catchment area of 1,325,000 square kilometers. Twenty-four turns
The Twenty-Four Turns, also known as the Stilwell Road, is a stretch of road with 24 bends (hence the name "Twenty-Four Turns"). Anciently known as Yaguan, and locally referred to as Banguan, it is located 1 kilometer south of Qinglong County, Guizhou Province. The Twenty-Four Turns winds along a low, steep slope between the majestic Qinglong Mountains and Mopan Mountain, creating a sense of impenetrability. The Twenty-Four Turns Observation Deck is located on Qinglong Mountain, 7 kilometers south of the county seat.
Longdong Waterfall
Located in Zhongying Town, Qinglong County, 75 kilometers from the county seat, Longdong Waterfall borders Changliu Township to the north, Huagong Town to the south, Longyin Town of Pu'an County to the west, and Liuzhi Special District of Liupanshui City across Guangzhao Lake to the east. With a drop of over 500 meters and a width of nearly 30 meters, Longdong Waterfall cascades down with a majestic aura.
Sanwangping Grassland
Sanwangping Grassland is a high-altitude grassland composed of a combination of artificially planted grass and natural meadows. Three connected lawns rise gradually from north to south, starting at Daguashi behind Shangmachang Village. Surrounded by high mountain forests to the south and bordering Shangmachang Village and its rural scenery to the north, the grassland is vast and boundless, with lush pastures undulating like waves in the breeze, and herds of cattle and sheep grazing everywhere.
