Legend has it that every year on the third day of the third lunar month, the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, and the eighth day of the eighth lunar month, Queen Mother of the West holds a Peach Festival here to entertain all kinds of gods. Xiwangmu Yaochi Lake is 250 kilometers from downtown Golmud, with an average altitude of 4,470 meters. It stretches approximately 12,000 meters from east to west and 5,000 meters from north to south.
