Jinping Mountain Scenic Area is located 18 kilometers south of Mingshui City, Zhangqiu, and 55 kilometers southeast of Jinan. It has an altitude of 563.5 meters and covers an area of 12 kilometers.
The mountain is covered in lush green, and ancient cypresses shade the sky. Scenic spots such as the Bixia Yuanjun Temple and the Wenchang Pavilion have been recently renovated.
The temple fair is held from March 15th to 20th of the lunar calendar every year. To go to Jinping Mountain, you can take the Wenzu bus from Jiefang Bridge or Dianliu Village to Zhangqiu.
Jinan has a temperate monsoon climate with obvious monsoons and distinct four seasons: dry and rainy spring, warm and rainy summer, cool and dry autumn, and cold and snowy winter.

Located in Jinan, Shandong Province. Visitors can reach the area by taxi or private car. Local buses serve nearby stops, followed by a short walk to the scenic entrance.
Typically open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Best times to visit are spring and autumn when the weather is mild and the scenery is most vibrant.
Entrance fees are moderate and tickets can be purchased at the park entrance. Online booking may be available via local tourism websites or apps.

Some paths are steep and may be challenging for elderly or disabled visitors. Main trails and rest areas are moderately accessible, but wheelchair access may be limited.
Cash is accepted, and mobile payments (Alipay, WeChat Pay) are widely used for tickets and small purchases.
Local restaurants and cafes near the park entrance serve Shandong cuisine and snacks. Small teahouses are located along the trails.
Vegetarian options are generally available; vegan or halal options may be limited and should be inquired about in advance.
Hotels, guesthouses, and boutique accommodations are available within Jinan city, usually 10–20 minutes by car from the scenic area.
Souvenir shops sell local handicrafts, postcards, small stone carvings, and cultural memorabilia related to the scenic area.
