Chongzuo City is located in the southwest of Guangxi, bordering Vietnam. It is the political, economic and transportation center of southwest Guangxi and the most convenient land route from China to ASEAN.
Since ancient times, Chongzuo has been the place where the Luoyue people, ancestors of the Zhuang nationality, have lived. Chongzuo City's "Southern Border Customs Tour" is one of the five major tourist routes in Guangxi. This route includes the Chongzuo Guilong Pagoda, Chongzuo Shijinglin and the world's rare animal white-headed langur protection area - Nongguan Ecological Park; the Zuojiang Huashan murals; the world's second largest and Asia's largest Daxin Detian cross-border waterfall, the Mingshi River pastoral scenery; Pingxiang Friendship Pass; Fusui dinosaur fossil group, etc.
In addition, there are ancient and mysterious border historical and cultural landscapes: the history of the Sino-French War, the large and small Liancheng, the Qing Dynasty Mass Graves, the Red Eighth Army Memorial Hall, and the exotic customs of the border.
There is no scorching heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. The average temperature is 19 degrees Celsius. It is a summer resort and is known as "Little Kunming".
