Located in Yonggan Village on Xinghai South Road in Qionghai, the Duohe Cultural Valley Scenic Area in Qionghai is a unique scenic area in Hainan dedicated to the local culture of the Wanquan River, Hainan's mother river. Duohe is the historical name for the Wanquan River. The scenic area interprets Hainan's mother river culture through the lens of revolutionary humanistic culture, green ecological culture, and blue ocean culture.


In the scenic area, you can trace a legendary and beautiful love story that took place on the banks of the Duohe River more than 600 years ago - the story of Qingmei and Yuan Wenzong, and learn about the historical origin of the Duohe River's imperial name, Wanquan River; visit the distinctive dwellings, traditional farming culture, and rich overseas Chinese culture along the Wanquan River at the Rural Residence Expo Hall; learn about the culture of the legendary fishermen from Tanmen, Qionghai, who are the descendants of the Wanquan River, and explore the glory of the ancient Maritime Silk Road; you can also directly experience the folk culture of the Junpo Festival with Hainan's local folk characteristics, and feel eating Junpo, marching on Junpo, and making noise at Junpo.
