Introducing Tianzun Pavilion

Tianzun Pavilion, located in Fengtai Town, Ninghe County, was first built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and renovated in 1858. It is a Taoist temple dedicated to Yuanshi Tianzun. Originally consisting of a mountain gate, side halls, and a large pavilion, most of the buildings were destroyed in an earthquake, leaving only the large pavilion. The large pavilion, built on a high platform, stands 14.7 meters tall and is a three-story wooden structure. The lowest level houses the Tianzun Pavilion, the middle level houses the Queen Mother Hall, and the upper level is known as the Ziwei Hall.

Tianzun Pavilion is a Taoist temple dedicated to Yuanshi Tianzun. Its structure is rigorous and rational, and its decoration is beautiful and elegant. It survived the 1976 Tangshan earthquake and is an outstanding example of ancient Chinese wooden architecture.
