The existing buildings of the Lhagari Palace can be divided into three periods: early, middle, and late. The early buildings are known as "Zhaxi Qunzong" in Tibetan, the middle buildings as "Ganden Lazi" in Tibetan, and the late buildings as "Summer Palace." Located south of Qusong County in the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Lhagari Palace has largely retained its original layout and architectural structure, making it extremely valuable within the unique category of ancient Tibetan royal palaces and of great research value.

The Rajari Palace is open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily. The best times to visit are in the early morning or late afternoon when the crowds are thinner and the lighting is perfect for photography. The spring and autumn months offer the best weather conditions for exploring the palace.
The entrance fee is approximately ¥50 to ¥80. Tickets can be bought at the entrance of the palace. It is not currently possible to buy tickets online, so visitors will need to purchase them on-site.
Booking tickets in advance is not necessary. However, during peak tourist seasons, it may be wise to check availability ahead of time. Bookings are not typically required for individual visits.

There are no souvenir shops inside the palace, but local shops in the nearby town of Tsetang sell traditional Tibetan handicrafts, including prayer wheels, thangkas (religious paintings), and Tibetan jewelry.
After visiting, you can take a taxi or private car to continue your trip. Public transportation options like buses are available, but a private car is the most convenient option for reaching other nearby attractions.
