Harbin Botanical Garden is located in Xiangfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, covering an area of 136 hectares.
This is China's most representative cold-temperate botanical garden in Northeast China and the only forest park in China located in a provincial capital city.
The park is home to more than 200 genera of forest families, including 114 families, including pine, birch, willow, maple, spiraea, honeysuckle, and ginseng.
In the park, you can also see exotic cold-temperate plants, enjoy forest bathing, forest entertainment and camping, and leisurely fish in the quiet artificial lake.

Night visits and light shows are not available at Harbin Forest Botanical Garden. It is best to visit during daylight hours to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The garden is typically more crowded during weekends and national holidays. The best time to visit is on weekdays or early in the morning during the spring and summer months.
Basic facilities such as toilets, water stations, and rest areas are available. There are also small food stalls and souvenir shops located near the entrance of the garden.
The garden is generally accessible for elderly and children, with paved paths and rest areas. However, some parts of the park, such as the hills and certain walking trails, may be difficult for those with mobility issues.
