Yimenpo National Forest Park is located 20 kilometers south of Shangzhi City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, and covers an area of about 232 square kilometers.
It is one of the few national forest parks in Heilongjiang Province. It is not only a forest nature reserve, but also a unique natural landscape tourist area and a "natural plant museum".
Its forest coverage rate is 87%, and its vegetation belongs to the Zhangguangcailing flora subregion of the Changbai Mountain flora. The zonal vegetation is broad-leaved red pine forest, which is mainly natural forest.
There are 325 species of wild vertebrates in the park, including 9 species of amphibians, 8 species of reptiles, 255 species of birds and 31 species of mammals.
