Tianjun Stone Forest, located on Tianjun Mountain west of Tianjun County in Qinghai Province, shares its rock formations with those of the Yunnan Stone Forest, both karst landforms forging spectacular landscapes. Formed approximately 350 million years ago during the Carboniferous period, the Tianjun Stone Forest differs in that its formation was marred by water shortages and droughts caused by the uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Consequently, water erosion was incomplete, and instead, through prolonged wind erosion, the majestic and imposing landscape has been formed. The hundreds of mountainous stone forests, some straight and tall, some graceful and graceful, some proud and extraordinary, and some charming and naive, are remarkably lifelike. These stone forests feature a blend of colors, ranging from subtle to intense, creating a natural and harmonious blend that creates a sense of wonder.
