Reddomain, at an altitude of 6,112 meters, lies at the confluence of the Riwuqie and Moxi gullies in the northern Gongga Mountains of the Hengduan Mountains in Sichuan Province. The mountain is a majestic and steep mass, resembling a massive wall of ice. Glaciers slowly flow down the northern slopes of the peak, gathering in the valley, forming a glacial lake as clear and emerald green as emerald green.
Ledomanyin is a relatively easy climb among the independent peaks over 6,000 meters in the Gongga Mountains. The traditional route to the summit is the West Ridge Route. In September 1999, a climbing team from the Hokkaido University Mountaineering Club in Japan first reached the summit of Ledomanyin via the West Ridge Route. Since then, teams from both China and abroad have reached the summit six to eight times using various routes.
The commercial climb of Le Domain will utilize the less challenging and safer West Ridge route: starting from the shore of the glacial lake, ascending via scree and snow slopes to the West Ridge. Following the West Ridge, the climb will pass through a mixed rock and ice section, before traversing the ice and snow to the summit. This route is estimated to be AD+ (Assez Difficile) on the IFAS International Mountaineering Scale of Difficulty.

5. There are many waterways and bridges along the way, and the rocks are slippery. Be careful not to fall into the water. If you do fall into the water, change clothes immediately to keep warm to avoid hypothermia.
