The Sanjiaolong Bay Nature Reserve is located in southeastern Huinan County, Jilin Province, within the Longgang Mountains of the Changbai Mountain Range. The reserve comprises ten scenic areas: Sanjiaolong Bay, Dalong Bay, Erlong Bay, Xiaolong Bay, and Sifang Peak, forming "seven bays, one lake, and two peaks."

Sanjiaolong Bay has a surface area of ​​50 hectares, a maximum depth of 104 meters, and a water storage capacity of 10 million cubic meters. Due to the triangular shape of the lake and the 30-meter-high triangular rock standing on the south side of the lake, it is named "Sanjiaolong Bay."
