
Sifangdingzi Mountain, located in the eastern part of Huinan County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, stands at 1,233.3 meters above sea level. It is the highest basalt volcanic cone in the Longwan Scenic Area and the highest peak in Huinan County. The scenery is picturesque year-round: lush green meadows in spring, towering ancient trees in summer, vibrant forests in autumn, and blanketed in snow in winter.
Sifangdingzi Mountain, a major scenic spot in Jilin's Longwan National Forest Park, is known as the "Longgang Art Garden" and "Dead Wood Paradise." Its summit encompasses a 3-square-kilometer alpine meadow, home to a diverse flora, and the unique landscape created by the ancient and dead trees is particularly stunning. The trees, primarily oak, birch, cork, linden, and pine, dominate the landscape, towering from the foot of the mountain to the summit. Many ancient trees are so large they can be hugged by three people, and are estimated to be hundreds of years old. Combined with lightning strikes, wind, and sun, the dead trees have become a unique spectacle, creating a paradise for photography enthusiasts.
