Located in Qixing Village, Shuangjiao Town, Yangchun County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, Yangchun Jilongding is one of Guangdong's eight alpine grasslands. Its main peak, shaped like a chicken coop, evokes the name Jilongding. The rolling hills here create a sense of being transported to the Hulunbuir grasslands. Every April and May, the wild alpine azaleas bloom in abundance, attracting numerous visitors.
Jilongding's main peak, at 1,280.5 meters above sea level, is Yangjiang's second-highest peak and widely recognized as the most beautiful in the outdoor community. It's hailed as the "most alluring" by hikers who have visited. The alpine meadows here, covering 120 square kilometers, are known as the "Grassland of Western Guangdong." The lush green mountains, shrouded in mist, rival the alpine meadows of Wugong Mountain. Furthermore, the mountain boasts the unique Twelve Peaks, whose twelve mountain ranges are arranged like a comb. The twelve peaks resemble lions standing proudly, or twelve galloping horses, creating a truly magnificent spectacle.
The best time to visit Yangchun Jilongding is spring and autumn.
