The sunset glow of Xianglu Peak resembles the legendary "Penglai Scenery," earning Xianglu Temple the nickname "Little Penglai of the Yellow River." The temple is surrounded by open space on three sides, connected to the main peak by a 1.5-meter-long, 1-meter-wide sky bridge. Standing on the bridge feels like being in the clouds, a truly breathtaking experience. The temple overlooks Shanxi across the Yellow River, offering sweeping views of the Loess Plateau in both provinces.

Baiyun Temple is a popular destination, attracting many pilgrims seeking fortune-telling and divination. A temple fair is held annually from the first to the eighth day of the fourth lunar month.
