
Zhanlong Town is located in the eastern part of Puning City, Guangdong Province. It borders Puning City to the west, Chendian Town, Chaonan District, Shantou City to the east, Nanjing Town to the north, and Junbu Town and Xiajiashan Town to the south.
Zhanlong is located at 116°15′32″ east longitude and 23°17′17″ north latitude. It is the eastward traffic bottleneck of Puning City. The area is 52 square kilometers, and it has jurisdiction over 37 village committees and 2 neighborhood committees. The total population is 186,425 (2017), making it the most populous town in Puning City.
Zhanlong Town has a strong industrial foundation and active commercial circulation. It is a national key town, an industrial town in eastern Guangdong, one of the first "China Taobao Towns", and one of the three central towns in Puning City.
