Chengjiang River, also known as Suwei River, is a tributary of the Hongshui River section of the Xijiang River in the Pearl River system. It originates in Jiudun Village, Daxing Township, Du'an County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and flows from north to south through Daxing Township, Chengjiang Township, and Anyang Town, before merging into the Hongshui River at Longjing in Hongdu Village, Chengjiang Township. It is 42 kilometers long and has a drainage area of ​​1,170 square kilometers. The river's low sediment content and clear, blue-green waters, resembling lake water, give it its name. Chengjiang River is one of the county's major irrigation channels. Its banks are flat, its valleys are wide, and its fields are densely covered with farmland. It is one of the county's major grain production bases, once known as Du'an's "paradise." Known as the county's "land of fish and rice," it boasts numerous irrigation projects along the river. Four small hydropower stations, including Baila, Xiangshuiguan, Diding, and Longjing, have been constructed upstream and downstream of the river.
