Shitan is located in the southeast of She County, Huangshan City, a famous tourist city, adjacent to Xin'an River, the upper reaches of Qiandao Lake. Here, mountains and rivers are interdependent and the people are simple and honest. It is another tourist attraction that has emerged in recent years after Luoping and Wuyuan, integrating photography and tourism.
At the foot of the mountain, the Huayuan River meanders through Changxi, the premier ancient town in southern Shennan, before merging into the Xin'an River. The further you go from Shitan Village, the more beautiful the scenery becomes, and the more wild it becomes. The villages are connected only by narrow paths.
Every year from March to April, photography enthusiasts and tourists flock to the area from all over the country. The village is shrouded in mist, and rapeseed and pear blossoms are in full bloom, spreading across the hillsides, fields, and riverbanks. White and red flowers dot the landscape, creating a sea of flowers and a world of color.
From March to April, the mountains are covered with rapeseed and pear blossoms, which are very beautiful.
