Quanjiao, established in the Western Han Dynasty, boasts a rich history and culture, numerous historical sites, and a simple folk culture. Both Hanshan, one of the four great monks of the Ming Dynasty, and Wu Jingzi, author of the seminal satirical novel The Scholars, were born in this culturally rich land.
