The Taihu Mountain Scenic Area encompasses Taihu Mountain, nicknamed the "Little Jiuhua of Jiangbei"; the Taihu Mountain National Forest Park, with its sweeping peaks, lush trees, and tranquil beauty; the Taihu Mountain Deer Farm, East China's largest; and the Lingjiatan Ancient Cultural Site, one of China's top ten archaeological discoveries in 1998 and a nationally protected key cultural relic site.
