It is divided into the Xiaoxitian Scenic Area and the Daxitian Scenic Area. It is the most typical Danxia landform in China's arid regions, and one of the most complete and uniquely shaped Danxia landforms in the country.

It is the geological name for the "window-lattice palace-style Danxia" and is rated as "China's No. 1 window-lattice palace-style Danxia landform." Danxia cliffs, stone walls, stone pillars, pinnacles, and hills are widely distributed throughout the scenic area, forming a magnificent landscape.
