
Dawu County, under the jurisdiction of Xiaogan City in Hubei Province, is located in northeastern Hubei Province, on the border between Hubei and Henan, in the southwestern section of the Dabie Mountains. A renowned revolutionary base and the heart of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Base Area, Dawu boasts a glorious revolutionary history. Party and state leaders such as Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, Li Xiannian, and Xu Xiangqian left their glorious battle footprints in Dawu. It is also the hometown of Li Yuanhong, President of the Republic of China. The county boasts revolutionary sites such as the former headquarters of the New Fourth Army's Fifth Division, the former site of the Central Plains Military Region, and the Hubei-Henan Border Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery.

Xiangshuitan
Xiangshuitan is located in Gushan Village, 5 kilometers west of Sanlicheng, Dawu County. The water from Gushan Mountain converges with stream water to form a five-tiered waterfall. At the third tier, the torrent cascades down from a rock cliff over 120 meters high, creating a thunderous sound as the water splashes down to the bottom of the valley, forming a pool. This is why it's called Xiangshuitan.
Jiunvtan
Located in Xingchong Village, ten kilometers northeast of Xuanhua Town Government, the area boasts scenic attractions such as the Ten-Li Grand Canyon, Nine Scenic Ponds, the Wudaoxiang End Site, Eight Dangerous Valleys, and Four Solitary Mountain Strongholds. Visitors are captivated by the feeling of "Mysterious Nine Women Pond, a place not to be missed by immortals, a place to be admired by tourists." Flanking the pond are sheer cliffs carved by knives and axes, lush pines and bamboos stand like coiled dragons playing in the water or jade trees leaning against the abyss, each graceful and graceful.
Hubei-Henan Border Region Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery
It is one of the top ten martyrs' cemeteries in the country and one of the first batch of key martyrs' memorial buildings protected in the country.
Great Enlightenment is a historic Buddhist temple in Xiaogan, Hubei. It is renowned for its ancient architecture, religious significance, and cultural heritage, serving as an important center for local Buddhist practices.
Located in Xiaogan city, Hubei province, it can be reached by local bus or taxi from the city center. Walking is feasible for nearby visitors.
