East Lake Scenic Area, located east of Pinghu City, is formed by the confluence of nine rivers. In ancient times, it was nicknamed "Nine Dragon Harbor," and from above, it resembles a painting of nine dragons playing with a pearl. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and numerous historical sites, the lake is rich in both natural and cultural resources, making it Pinghu's "lake within the city." An ancient poem praises it: "Nine li of lake light reflects the nine li of city, nine rivers encircle it in emerald mist, tributaries flow in distant streams, and a threshold of peace opens amidst the vast waters."
