                    Xingping City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province, administered by Xianyang City. Located in the heart of the Guanzhong Plain, 40 kilometers from downtown Xi'an and 20 kilometers from downtown Xianyang, Xingping is a "satellite city" anchored by a large or medium-sized city. It faces Huxian and Zhouzhi Counties of Xi'an to the south, across the Wei River, and borders Qindu District of Xianyang to the east.
