Introducing Fengxiang
The East Lake in Fengxiang County is a sister lake of the famous West Lake in Hangzhou. It was created by expanding the pond and excavating it when the Song Dynasty writer Su Shi was the signing judge of Fengxiang Prefecture. There is a poem that says: "East Lake temporarily gives way to West Lake in beauty, but West Lake knows that East Lake is better"; the tomb of Qin Mugong is located in the museum courtyard on Wenhua Road in Fengxiang County. The historical stories of "Ancient Drinking Wind Pool in the Western Zhou Dynasty" and "Qin Mugong giving wine to horse thieves to detoxify" took place in Fengxiang. There is also the beautiful myth of Qin Mugong's youngest daughter, Nongyu, and Xiao Shi, a young fairy couple, flying into the sky on a phoenix; Shifo Temple stands majestically on Matoupo, on the top of Qingfeng Mountain, overlooking the Yongchuan land.
