Lishi is located on the west side of the central Luliang Mountains, on the west side of central Hunan Province, and in the central Luliang region. Lishi boasts numerous tourist attractions, including the Baima Fairy Cave, nestled at the foot of Jiufeng Mountain southeast of the city. Inside, you'll find jagged rocks and sharp sword-like points. Further inside, you'll find pillars hanging upside down from the ceiling, three feet off the ground, creating a clanging sound when struck. The caves also boast several pools of clear, deep water. These caves are so deep within caves that explorers have never been able to fully appreciate them, making them a rare large-scale karst cave in the Luliang Mountains. Fengshan Mountain boasts stunning scenery and boasts unique ancient architecture. Climbing the mountain offers a panoramic view of the city's new cityscape. The Han Dynasty stone reliefs at the Han Dynasty Stone Statue Museum are decorative stone murals carved on the walls of tombs and ancestral halls during the Han Dynasty.
